Horrible Service. They wont divide up checks. Theyre slower that steam off of s**t. If you want a couple of beers, you better order them all at once, because youll sit there with an empty glass for a while. I actually had to go into the restaurant (sitting outside) and get utensils myself after the food was brought out. I asked the servers for some and they never came back,. Well, they did, but it was after I went inside and got them myself. Literally 10 minutes after I originally asked them. The servers greeting and seating at the front of the restaurant pointed me back to the kitchen when I asked them for utensils. Pretty pathetic. Theres nothing great about the food either. pretty bland. And this isnt a one-time occurance. Something like this happens every time Ive been there. The only reason Ive gone back is because friends have already organized events there. Pretty sad because they have a great deck to sit on. Well, no more. Go to El Toro just south on Roswell road on the other side of Jax. Much better.

Horrible experience!! I was embarrassed and will never patronize any El Azteca ever again. My sister bought me a gift certificate for Xmas from El Azteca for $30. I tried to use it today and they refused to accept it because even though it was the same paper, same design, and signed with the name of one of their employees, it was not stamped with "El Azteca". They said they believe My sister bought it, but that without the stamp the employee could have scammed her. So honor the damn certificate!! I was completely embarrassed in front of my guest and had to pay full price for the meal. This place is a SCAM!!!!!!!! Terrible customer service! I will never go here again.

He comido tan solo una ves en este restaurante pero me pareció que la comida es mas Americana que Mexicana el savor de las carnes no es el mismo me pareció que estaba comiendo la misma carne que traen las hamburguesas . Nada mas el servicio si es bueno.

The only saving grace of this place is their margaritas. This is my second and last visit for food. My first experience I had a tilapia and shrimp dish. The tilpia had a strange brown coloring all over. It tasted off. I never never complain and for the first time in my life I did. They brought out a poblano for replacement which wasnt much better. I tried a second time today and ordered a quesadilla that was burned. Again, drinks are good but food is terrible.

Amazing food! Fast service- even on a crazy busy night I was greeted swiftly and seated at a table within an amazingly short time. The food is always hot and amazing. I got their super burrito and was overwhelmingly pleased with the taste and texture of the food! Our waitress was fast and fun and made sure that we had an amazing experience. If youre looking for excellent Mexican cuisine at a fantastic price, youre definitely coming to the right place

This is the Americanized-Mexican I look forward to about once a month. Classic combo menu (1-22) that seems to not change from restaurant to restaurant. Margs are honestly priced and have full flavor. Plenty of parking and daily specials make this a frequent spot for the Mexican cuisine lover, like myself. Follow them on twitter (@ElAztecaAtl) for even more specials by location. Yo Quiro mas!

I had the fajitas there last night and a skinny margarita. The fajitas were fair. Mine consisted of beef, chicken and shrimp. Not enough shrimp for me (guess I should have gotten the shrimp fajitas :-). The beef and chicken were tender and not chewy, which i definitely appreciate. I really enjoyed the skinny margarita though it gave me quite the headache the next day.

Service has been poor twice now. First server just happened to mishear everything we ordered as more expensive options. Second visit we couldnt get the hostess to seat us, so we seated ourselves, understandable wait for a server following that, but after he found out we were there (and reprimanded us), service was still horrendous. Food was average.

Dependable and right down the middle, El Azteca serves up chips and salsa Americanized Mexican fare. Beef burritos, tacos, and enchiladas here are exactly what you expect -- but nothing more. The tortilla soup is a hearty appetizer that could easily make a meal. Cancun shrimp is especially spicy here, so order accordingly.

This place is a staple for me. Great food, rocking staff, and good outdoor seating. I actually prefer sitting at the bar though. I order the Parrailla tapatilla (may have misspelled that) but its a meaty plate that is difficult to finish. Couple that with a gigante cerveza, and they will need to roll you out! Love it!

While it can get noisy at times, you cannot fault the restaurant for this. If youre looking for a quiet restaurant around dinner time, look elsewhere. Otherwise this is a wonderful choice, great fresh food, wonderful atmosphere, and a very attentive wait staff!

The food is good and it a cute place to eat but from the second I walked in I felt like if smelt like cat litter. The bathrooms were not clean, particularly the changing table. The host had a great personality but our waitress wasnt particularly friendly.

Awful cheap food not worth the price. Our service was awful, waited over 30min for our food no refills on chips or drinks and then 30min just to get our check. Dont waste your time or money. There are plenty of way better mexican restaurants.

We stopped on the way home to Florida. What a great way to end our vacation! We had Sunday buffet and the food was fresh and flavorful. Also the tortillas we handmade moments before we got them. The service was excellent as well.

Run-of-the-mill mexican restaurant offering decent courses at a reasonable price. Tight pull-through to parking behind the restaurant which fills up quickly. Good place to eat locally if youre not trying to break the bank.

Saw this place and recognized the name so we stopped for late lunch. Was very disappointed in overall experience. Food was very bland, service was slow and hard to find. Chips were stale, so first impression wasnt good.

Dude, what can I say about this place? Great food, margaritas, outside patio, what else do you need? I always have awesome time when I come here. I freaking love their cheese dip and their fish tacos.
