I have come to the conclusion No Mas is a really overpriced, garbage Mexican restaurant. I came one time before and I ordered two main dishes and a dessert: -Fish tacos ... Avoid at all costs! These salty, overcooked pieces of tilapia is something that a five year old couldve pulled off, but for a restaurant they are a disgrace. I actually sent my order back and asked for another (specifically requested to not be cooked so hard) ... they came back the same way. Therefore, I just asked for fajitas... -Fajitas were good enough to eat, but having to ask for tortillas over and over again is what stuck out in my mind - it comes with three, as if that is enough for the meal. I ordered two different types of meat - chicken and beef. Chicken was cooked correctly, but the beef was tough and pretty inedible once it cooled off after 5 minutes. Didnt complain about this meal and moved onto dessert ... -Churros ... How the heck can you mess these up?? Put them in the frier for 2 minutes, take them out and put powder and jelly on them! Fried HARD (stick hard!) and no powder or jelly on them. Told them to take them back. At least the previous time I went, the frozen margarita had alcohol in them... On to today, September 13, 2015 for brunch. Ordered 3 frozen margaritas, two come out with bigger glasses, one a small glass. We make a comment to the waitress, she said she would get some more. We will leave that for now because we waited about 40 minutes to actually order our food as we sipped on what were basically nonalcoholic slushies ... Luckily the three of us were having a conversation, so it didnt feel like it until I looked at my phone and noticed how much time passed. Food came out, with me ordering a Bread Pudding French Toast for brunch - just to do something different. For the love of god, please DO NOT order the Bread Pudding French Toast unless you are on a diet or just want to have a small dessert. THREE SMALL 1 inch x 3 inch strips of French toast greeted me ... No bacon, no fruit, syrup drizzled on the rim and a dab of whipped cream. Why is that even on the same brunch menu with a egg burrito the size of the plate??? It tastes decent (not good, in my opinion), but when you order something from a menu costing the same as other things you expect at least comparable portion sizes. Needless to say, those were gone in 3 minutes. Back to my kid sized drink ... Nothing was done about the waitress will get some more. The bill came out. I told them to take off $2 of the drink since they shorted me about 1/4 of the drink. 10 minutes later, I get the rest of my drink. Why did I have to say anything? Weirdly enough, I always go out of my way to go to La Fiesta in Douglasville. They provide drinks with actual alcohol in them, succulent beef in their burritos, marinated chicken in their quesadillas and served with their fajitas, and fast, great service. No Mas is no comparison, but it is located downtown - which makes it convenient; yet, I really cant recommend No Mas any more.

So I have never been that big a fan of this place, but its not terrible...its close to the house. Well, after last nights fiasco I dont believe we will ever return. We arrived around 9:15 were promptly seated. Chips and salsa were immediately brought. Our server came took our drink and appetizer order. Then before she had even gotten our drinks shes back asking if were ready to order. No mam...we are not. While waiting on drinks I got a work related call...only lasted about 45 seconds.. she sets drinks down right before Im about to hang up. Are you ready to order yet? No mam..sorry..I have not had a moment to look over the menu yet. We will need one more minute please. She says ok. Then does not return for about 7 minutes. She comes back and takes our order and leaves while neglecting to refill either of our drinks that are empty. Food comes very quickly...I ordered a plate with a fish taco 2 shrimp enchiladas and rice and beans. Well I devoured the taco..it was awesome. The I start in on the enchiladas. I take a bite along with some rice and beans...it tasted meh, but just like all enchiladas there is not much filling in the ends. So I take another bite...with rice and bean...its tasted off. So now Ive reached the middle..the part with the most filling...I take a bite..on its own and it hits me...that funny shrimp taste. Nope...no more of this so I push the plate away. Did I say the server still had not returned? So here I am waiting....10 more minutes pass and she returns. I tell her the shrimp tastes funny. Im not going to eat it . Please just bring me 2 steak tacos instead, but to go. Since my roomate was done eating and ready to go. She looks at me like Im crazy and like shes appalled and confused. She takes it away and about 5 minutes later this snarky little manager waddles over and asks me how everything was. (like he didnt already know) I go thru the whole thing with him and he starts in about. I saw your plate and you ate this much of the food..blah blah blah. I respond with yeah..I know..I ate the taco and half an enchilada because it took me 3 bites to really get a good taste of the shrimp. Thats why Im only asking for 2 tacos and rice and beans.... he says...oh you want rice and beans too..you ate this much of that(Im the most condescending tone ever, while moving around in an irritated fashion), but its no big deal to me ... Thats when I lost it. I dont care how much I ate...all Im asking is to replace what I didnt eat with an appropriate amount of food. 2 tacos and rice and beans. Dont sit here and try and make me it out like Im trying to get one over on you. Are you kidding me? I laid into him... I asked him if it didnt matter then why do you keep bringing it up? He just keeps being snarky and says Ill just take it all off!!! Oh yea? Thats not what I wanted, but I wont argue with you anymore. Even though the service was awful... we still left a nice tip for the server. NEVER TREAT A CUSTOMER THAT WAY!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT HERE!!!

I will preface this by saying weve been here several times, and while service has occasionally been somewhat spotty (the waitstaff arent that attentive), it has never been this bad. Our service last night was absolutely heinous. We were seated and waited nearly thirty minutes before our waiter, a tall black young man who did not state his name, came up and said he was our waiter. He gave us chips and salsa. More time, were through a good chunk of the salsa, and finally someone comes to get our drink order. By now, were parched, but also more than ready to order food too. So we order an appetizer and our entrees, along with three margaritas. More time passes. We beg some busboy for water. More time. We get our appetizers, and we ask for water again. Finally we get water. Our margaritas are nowhere in sight. Our chips are down to crumbs--and our appetizers are guacamole and queso, so Im not sure how were supposed to eat them. A waitress came up and gave us more chips finally. Our waiter comes out and asks us each what we had ordered. More time passes. Weve been there almost an hour. Finally that same waitress brings us two (read: not three) margaritas, one of which is the wrong kind. We send it back. Im hungry and pissed off. More waiting. I get my margarita. Were still missing one. Finally, our food comes. One order is completely wrong. Im ridiculously angry but trying to contain myself because we had a guest in from out of town. When the waiter comes back to ask how everything is, I tell him its wrong, and that we dont want anything to replace it, just take it off the ticket. He disappears with the plate before I can tell him that were still missing our third margarita. The last margarita comes, finally, halfway into our meal. The waiter tries to give us a little bracelet, but no one takes it. We tell him to give us boxes to go, and he retreats. The ticket comes, and is wrong. Were charged for a pitcher and two glasses of margaritas, instead of three margaritas. Thats a $22 difference. He fixes it and comes back with four of those little bracelets. We paid over a hundred dollars for the worst meal experience Ive ever had. If we hadnt had a guest, I would have demanded a manager immediately and given him an earful. I am so, so angry, and I will never be back here.
