A must-taste! Authentic French pastries (I lived in France for 21 years), some of them with a twist like the Caramelô which is basically a caramel-based opéra with the typical delicious feuillantine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The music wasnt loud (thank you!) so you can carry a conversation with friends without having to raise your voice. I loved the details from the choice of colors, the Italian-branded coffee machines, the chairs, the wooden stools at the center island, the high-quality knives and forks.Oh and the coffee was great. Love the place! I will definitely come back. I havent tried the savory food, Im hoping its as excellent as the sweets. Last comment: you can even get cannelés, the sweet specialty of Bordeaux and they are perfect!

We first went to this place when it had just opened up. Metro Atlantans are extremely fortunate to have quite a few authentic French/European bakeries, this is certainly one of them. My friend often hosts a French language meet up here so we can get our dose of French conversation. I like to get a cappuccino which is strong and perfect, occasionally a macaron and both are tasty! I havent yet tried the food, just the pastries and coffee. If you dont go early enough on a Saturday the baguettes are usually sold out, but there are other baked breads which are crusty and just right. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Fortunately there is ample parking in an around because it is located in a shopping plaza.

Just north of Buckhead, completely hidden off of one of the citys busiest streets is this Parisian gem. Inside friendly, professional staff serve up bistro dishes from traditional pastries to fusion sandwiches while barista work the slteampunk dials on the chrome clad espresso machine to produce eye-seducing brews. This lovely modern take on a French cafe, that sports a modest sized covered patio, is bright with blonde wood tables and gleaming white subway-style tiled walls. The naturally lit quarters oozes charm and an easygoing atmosphere that will linger in your psyche long after youve returned to routines of your day. Pastry, sandwich or salad... they are all a win! SCORE: MUST VISIT

the owner is a great person and he really love service and cares about customers. food is not great but the patisserie and bakery is awesome. place is nice, sunny, attractive. the perssonal/table service in general is pretty lousy, they make mistakes with the food all the time and is never on time. 2 weeks ago we were having a birthday party and a friend of mine specifically said that she was seafood allergic, and she ordered a salad without tuna, they didnt pay attention of her request and they might have used the same knife they used for preparing fish. short story , my friend had to get a shot of epinephrine to prevent an anaphylaxis shock.

The bread was really tasty and enjoyed the pastries too, but the morning crews didnt even greet us in and out while other male guests were greeted with Hi and Bye Have a nice day. I felt like I was treated unequally and thats why I have to give just a star. Id give zero if I had a choice. We spent a good amount of money while we were there, so its quite disappointing. Employees, especially those who stand in front, should greet the customers regardless of gender/race/background. It just didnt feel right. I wont be coming back.

Place is great the pastry is great but my god it seems like this guy is increasing his price every day For a regular tall coffee and one croissant cost you almost $8.00 I stopped going there because I couldnt afford to pay that kind of money every day vs. if I go to Starbucks will cost me for the same thing $4.90 I couldnt recommend anyone to go there unless youre crazy enough to spend that kind of money I dont care even if you are a millionaire

Authentic French bakery. Delicious rich pastries and coffee. Great breakfast spot. Busy. Helpful staff. Prepare to wait in line. Lovely atmosphere. I took an almond croissant, almond and chocolate croissant, egg and gruyere croissant sandwich, baguette, exotique, rubis and vanilla latte to go. Everything was delicious. The croissants and latte were the best of everything I tried. Perfect baguette. Chocolate and almond croissant was perfectly balanced.

Lovely cafe atmosphere. Soothing french music or a relaxing afternoon. Coffee was good, and so was the pastries. The tartlettes were amazing, and so were the macarons. The Caramelo was delicious! Theres only a few selection for the desserts though. Love this place! For more selection of french desserts, Doceur de France would be the place to go.

As if the espresso wasnt the best in Atlanta, the staff is wonderful. They go above and beyond to create a relaxing environment. They treat both me and my daughter (3.5) as if were the only customers. She couldnt watch yall bake all day if I let her. THank you for bringing this gem to Sandy springs.

If you cant fit Paris into your budget right now, Cafe Vendome is the next best thing. The mushroom quiche is so unbelievably delicious and its hard to choose from the pastries because they all look So good. The customers are speaking French and Japanese and its always busy .

They have the Best fresh Madeline and the food is good. However, after four months the service still needs help. Perhaps a front end manager would help. Because every time Ive come I had to reiterate my order to the wait staff. So be prepared with patience on your visit.

The place has a lot of potential, the staff is great, the owner Hamid comes across as a nice, genuine guy... Until you get to know him, he abuses his staff, he doesnt pay them overtime and breaks the labor law. He lost a law suit with an employee and still refuses to pay.

The atmosphere and the customer service are great. However, the food although good seems fairly overpriced. $7.38 for a small soup, which looks larger because it is served in a rather semiflat plate, is a little bit too much. Any decent meal here is more than $20.

What no one seems to have mentioned is that this place is on the back of the strip center, completely hidden from the street. Just turn in and drive around to the back on the bottom corner. Nice little patio, bright and airy inside. Very nice lady waited on me.

Over priced and over rated. I paid $15 for two pastries that didnt taste anywhere near that price point. I didnt even know the price till I went to pay, since none of there pastries had prices listed. Alons is much better quality and at a realistic price.

The cappuccino was beautiful and perfect. Must try the caramel eclairs, lemon tart...really any of the pastries. The owner, Hamid, spent some time chatting with us and was so friendly. Definitely a place Ill visit often. Will try lunch there next.

Yes! Yes! Oui even! Lovely atmosphere, great staff, and a perfect cappuccino await. Pastries are all France has to offer and hands down THE best baguette in Atlanta.

There is nothing like excellent pastry and bread!!! This place reminded me most places fail at both. I had an eclair, ham baguette and coffee, just outstanding.

Amazing croissant, cappuccino, baguette and other french cafe food. The owner is gracious and is committed to improve the service, which is beginning to improve.
