This should be exceptional - the food is terrific and never a disappointment - service process is disjointed and inconsistent. If there were viable options - particularly after Church on Suday - I would take it. Most servers not well trained, it seems. Some seem to be recovering from a personality bypass procedure. Server appearances need a lot of work - both men & women. It could be the uniform, but they do not appear to be fresh and well-groomed - they also never seem happy - it could be in part because the temperature is uaually uncomfortable - particularly when the sun is out - maybe the windows need a tint treatment - the cheap blinds help, but do not balance the HVAC nor do much for the interior appeal. Take a look at investing some money on infrastructure. [has anything been done since it opened ? ] As for the service concerns, you might re-evaluate the manager criteria - are they teaching ? Are they creating a good environment for the staff ? And make it more comfortable for everyone and reinforce the concept and take the managers out of those suits and ties - maybe a buttoned jacket, but with open collar - not uptight and unapproachable perception. But again, I always enjoy the food, even with the unqualified service.

I would like to start by stating that I used to love this place but that all changed when I went there this past Saturday. I was completely astounded when I learned that I was being treated differently due to the fact that I looked different than everyone else. We were not offered muffins like everyone else when we first came in. I was somehow shocked why were we outliers and were being treated differently. If you are not white then it is best if you go and spend your money elsewhere. This restaurant does not cater for others. The way I was treated left me humiliated and shocked in front of my friend who I had to convince to come and eat here with me over another restaurant. Your best bet is if you go to another spot which you will be treated equal to everyone else. I am extremely disappointed for the service I received from one brunch spot I used to actually really like.

Consistently a solid spot to have lunch in Buckhead. The sandwich options are traditional with a twist and always delicious. The portions are sizable and include a side. If you arent super hungry, pick a salad and pair it with half of a sandwich. You get all of the great flavor without feeling stuffed. Top picks include: Chicken Breast Salad Club Sandwich (chicken breast, blue cheese mayo, avocado, applewood bacon, red onion, sunflower wheat), Roasted Rosemary Lamb (lamb, basil aioli, grilled tomato, onion focaccia), and C.C. Cuban (pulled pork, ham, pickles, swiss cheese, roasted poblano mustard). Service is always solid and consistent. My only complaints are the chairs are a little rickety and they use a brunch menu on Saturdays, limiting the sandwich options considerably.

I am a long time customer and have frequented Corner Cafe at least twice a week for breakfast for over a decade. The Chef Greg period was by far the most consistent in food quality, service and overall positive atmosphere. Of late the food quality & kitchen times have fallen so much, management bought one lunch and two breakfasts in a ten day period. On several occasions managers have miss opening door times, staff has become lackadaisical, and familiar long-time customer faces have vanished. I really dont get what is happening to the restaurant service sector, but, this seems to be trending in other local restaurants too. Is it really that difficult to staff managers and kitchen staff these days?

Been here many times, gave it a second, third and fourth chance. Cant believe they cant make poached eggs... needed for eggs Benedict. I asked for soft eggs and 3 times they brought them hard. They actually gave me hard boiled eggs over an english muffin. Waited 30 minutes to be served my first order and another 35 minutes for the other 2 redos. Finally, walked out without eating! Lets not forget the dirty glasses they brought me twice. To top it off the male manager scolded a sweet employee in front of clients. Lisa...she should be the manager.

Ive been coming here for 15? years now. Great brunch/breakfast, good baked items, and its always a treat. My one complaint (and not a big one), is that its a bit on the noisy side but thats a small price to pay for such good food. Also, the best grits Ive ever had came from here (one of the grits specials years ago, prosciutto and cheese (cant remember what kind)), which since I love grits and eat em whenever possible, is saying something.

Came by for Sunday brunch- Overpriced and completely lacking in any interesting flavors. We ordered the Corned beef hash/poached eggs & Skirt steak/eggs benedict. It was not bad (but not great), and DEFINITELY NOT worth the price. Food came fast, but service was spotty. Had to ask for a napkin and cutlery set three times before receiving one. Wouldnt recommend and no desire to go back.

Great food and typically great service. My boyfriend loves the corn beef hash here more than anywhere else. Everything is delicious. However, weve, on occasion had an issue with less that pristine flatware/drink ware. Once, he had been drinking from a glass then realized there was a full lip of lipstick on the other side of the glass. We didnt go back for almost a year!

Food is delicious, service is quick and friendly. Ive had the same server each time I came and he is very good at his job. Im really disappointed with the amount of coffee you get here. It seemed like 4-6 ounces and was $3, it was good, but Im guessing by that I wasnt offered a refill they are not available. Only reason why I cant rate 5 stars is the coffee

They have good food and wonderful coffee however the service is not the best. The people who sat down after us got their food before us. Once our food came we had to ask for silverware. Our server disappeared so I had to wave down someone else to get another French press coffee and hot sauce. Maybe it was an off day but I want to make someone aware.

Intended on having breakfast here during one of my trips to Atlanta but it seemed a bit chaotic to get seated. Didnt have time to deal with the wait so I grabbed some pastries and bread to go. I really liked their chocolate pastries so Ill definitely try to come back and hopefully have a seated meal.

Terrible experience got seated at 1055 am an hour later we still had not received our meal. When we did one of the orders was wrong still when it came back it was still wring. One thing that was done right the manager comped the meal but honestly it doesnt make up for the terrible experience.

It was overpriced for food that I could have gotten at Panera for 1/3 the cost. I dont know the last time I saw a place so dated, as the interior looks like it could have been used as a backdrop in an episode of the Golden Girls. Service was average...

I was pleasantly surprised by this little breakfast spot. The Italian coffee was phenomenal. The bakery case made me think Id stepped into a little shop in Old Europe. The blend of spices in the eggs and sausage added flair to a very normal breakfast.
