This was me and my husbands first experience with rolled ice cream and thankfully, our bad experience here didnt deter us from trying other places in the area. So, heres the breakdown of why I wouldnt recommend this place: 1) The music that was playing was incredibly inappropriate, especially when there were young kids in the establishment 2) The girl adding the toppings to the ice cream had gloves on but she DIDNT change them after touching the door handle to go outside, went outside with them on, touched the door again to come back in, scratched her head, rubbed her hand along the counter, and the list goes on. She touched EVERYTHING with the gloves on and then put her hands in the toppings to serve. I know this is probably something that needs to be addressed by management, but I was in disbelief that she didnt change them out. 3) The place had trash all over the floor and just wasnt clean 4) The employees couldve been more pleasant The ice cream was good, but the sanitation issues alone wont have us coming back.

I am sorry to say that this is the worst ice cream Ive ever eaten. After 2 times that Ive been here, I wouldnt be back and will go to the competitor across the street instead. Let me tell you why. First, good luck finding parking spot, then you walked into a dark and dirty place with crazy F bomb music (Dont bring your kids here). Second, its hot and nasty in here. I understand while therere numbers of people in this little store, they dont seem to care or handle it. Then come the worst part, the product. Both times that we were there, the ice cream was bad: flavor, texture, and consistency. Take a look at my photos and youll see how flaky it is. The ice cream should be creamy, but this is not. It tastes fake, like fake cream, fake flavor and nothing that I want to remember about their ice cream. We got Green tea, Thai Tea and Pina Colada. None of it was good. I am sorry, but we wouldnt be back again.

I finally made it to 8F and I absolutely loved it. There was a pretty steady stream of customers during my visit and after tasting my ice cream, I was totally convinced why. 8F gave us a simple and rewarding outcome. Located in the Intown Plaza off Buford Hwy near 285, it is in the perfect location. You can enjoy a meal and walk over and enjoy a tasty treat. I had the cookie monster and it was the perfect combination of cookie and cream. What I love about this dessert is that it does not start melting like your average ice cream dessert, but it is edible without the brain freeze. If youre in the neighborhood or want to make a special trip, you will never be disappointed. I m already planning my next concoction.

Drove over 40 mins with 3 kids to eat ice cream and was told that because two of my kids have peanut allergies they did not want our business. We have been here twice and both times they have cleaned one of the frozen plates completely and fixed them their ice cream yet this time we were told no the wouldnt. Wow disappointed my kids and lost me and all of my Gwinnett friends who make special trips to this location business for good !!! I will NOT return ! Not to mention they employees were very rude in their explanation of why which was they werent sure but were told not to serve people with allergies !!! So all people with allergies ( which is ALOT) dont bother going to this store they do not want your business!!

I really like the ice cream. But... when I went with my family this girl she is the cashier she has short hair, she was very rude with a bad attitude, she role her eyes a lot!!! The business just open 2 months ago and everything is about costumer service, if she doesnt change her attitude costumers are going to notice. Another thing is that the place is not very clean, because everyone is trying to focused in the ice cream and they do not see what is going around, the tables were very sticky and pluss ice cream all over the floor, and the bathroom was dirty as well. I am going to visit again and give it another chance, and I might change my review to 5 stars.

Walking in, I first noticed two indicators that elevate expectations: (1) a line of enthusiastic customers waiting to order and, (2) a host of people happily enjoying a frozen treat. If you havent enjoyed Thai-style rolled ice cream, it is certainly worth pursuing. I watched as the gentleman behind the counter placed graham cracker and strawberry on a flat metal surface that is cooled to extreme temperatures. Milk is then poured onto the surface and blended, flattened, and eventually rolled into the end product. That product is a smooth, delicious, and exceptionally creamy treat that is fun to watch being created and delightful to consume.

The Ice cream was very good but..... 1. The store was VERY dirty. 2. The women handling my toppings had gloves on but touched everything! The door, a shipping box, her hair.... My wife and I were quite grossed out. It does not bother me as much but luckily another person came and did my wifes ice cream toppings. Yes they have tongs to grab the toppings but she used her hands with the gloves she toched everything with.... 3. The music was not family friendly at all.... Talked blatantly about having sex and other things generally not appropriate in a restaurant setting. Would not recommend for those reasons.

Although I stayed outside, my friends were delighted upon seeing the making of the ‘ROLLED ICE CREAM… kinda like watching the magic happen from a ColdStone Creamery. The Sweet Bangkok really had the TASTE OF A CREAMY FROZEN THAI TEA. The Matcha Lady was less sweet with subtle Green Tea flavor. BOTH TASTED GREAT EVEN WITHOUT THE TOPPINGS. I liked the ‘rolled’ texture because IT DOESN’T FEEL AS ‘CHUNKY’ as regular scooped Ice Cream. During our visit there were definitely MORE PEOPLE THAN SEATS and more cars than parking spots. A very well-done gimmicky place.

They "refuse to serve anyone with a nut allergy." Absolutely ridiculous!! One of the most common allergies that people have and they cant keep one tray/ spatulas clean for people with an allergy. They said it takes too long to clean the plate so they just refuse to serve you. Lucky for me my allergy isnt THAT bad unless I eat whole nuts. So I said, "do you clean the spatula between use?". The reply was "we just cant serve anyone with an allergy." I said "so you DONT KNOW if you clean the spatula or not?" Couldnt get an answer... Incompetant workers..

Great ice cream, very creative and lots of flavor to try (so you have a reason to keep coming back). I will give a disclaimer that it takes a little bit of a wait each time I go. People having to choose toppings and the fact that theyre hand rolled makes the wait a little long sometimes for an ice cream place, so dont come here if you are in a hurry or anything. Other than that, definitely a top destination in Atlanta for the experience

This is definitely our new "go to" for ice cream. Fresh.. made with your choice of flavors & cream on a slab when you place your order, then rolled to make what almost looks like a flower, and then decorated with your choice of toppings. Ice cream doesnt much fresher.. delicious! I would have posted a video but it wouldnt let me.. definitely try this place! You will be a repeat customer!!
