We were a party of four at the Bonefish Grill (#7023) in Weston, Fl tonight, 23 Jan 2009. While our drinks and dinners were acceptable, they were not particularly good value for money. The ambiance of this restaurant left alot to be desired. It was crowded and noisy with the tables so close together we felt as if we were sitting and having dinner with the people at the tables next to ours. Certainly, we could have easily joined in their conversations and vice versa. Our server was Chad M. Not only was he extremely pushy, recommending that we order things on the menu when we did not ask for his advice, he was also definitely a waiter with an attitude. When we asked why the dinners we were served were not as described on the menu we were lectured about how to order and how to read the menu properly. He was condescending and extremely rude and impatient with us, snatching our plates away even as the last forkful of food was being chewed. It was clear that he wanted to get us moving on as soon as possible. This was our first experience at Bonefish Grill and it will probably be our last. We will definitely hesitate to recommend this Bonefish Grill to others.

Usually a consistent choice for a good dining experience, this last visit was a waste of time and money. 35 minute wait for 2 on a Tuesday night,no big deal but when we went to the bar we couldnt even get a menu and had to go ask the hostess for one. Our buzzer went off before our drinks were made and they said theyd send them to our table. We were given a table for 6 (just 2 of us) and 10 minutes before anyone came for drink orders. The bar drinks took even longer. We had to flag a server to ask what was going on. Food service was slow. Crab corn chowder was lukewarm and my filet/crab cake entree was overcooked (asked for medium and it was well done). Didnt send it back because I was starving. The flavor of the food was good and would have been a lot better if the customer service was better. I wish Id spent $83 anywhere else. We dont get a lot of date nights. Not a top tier restaurant anymore.

OMG Please read LIZ below. The Hostess was a rude B%#CH. I had a reservation for my sons birthday. She told me even though I have a reservation I had to wait 15 minutes. When I questioned "why" she barked at me "I told you you had to wait when you called" I eat out 6 times a week. I was never informed of that and she was rude rude rude. We waited 20 minutes and during that time 2 other parties were taken ahead of us. When my wife inquired as to why the hostess was rude to her too. We asked to see the manager and he was a "weak dish rag" (Must be related to owner). We subsequently left the restaurant and went to Bone Fish in Plantation where the experience was just the opposite of Weston BFG. We will NEVER go back to Weston BFG. The hostess and manager should be fired immediately.

Although this is a chain of restaurants, the quality of the fish, the flavor and creativeness of the dishes, and the quality of the service were outstanding. We most certainly will return. The waitstaff were all very well versed in the restaurants commitment to fresh (never frozen) fish, the selection of fish was wide-ranging and the four toppings offered for each grilled fish type covered the spectrum for all palates. Our waitress was incredibly personable, attentive, and even kind enough to provide a free warm brownie and ice cream dessert to us. Bonefish Grill was so much more than I expected, and the prices were reasonable, especially considering how good the food is. Also, Yahoo has the street address incorrect. The restaurant is at 4545 Weston Road. Give it a try!

Bonefish Grill in Weston is one of our favorite restaurants. Its usually a very popular place so be prepared to wait for a table. The food is always good and the wait staff is usually excellent. Grilled fish is usually what I order and it always comes with a great selection of sides. Their complimentary bread is very good. We usually start with an order of their signature "Bang Bang Shrimp" that almost doubles for a salad. The drinks and wine are typical prices. We very seldom have room for dessert. Great place. My only negative is that it is a noisy place but I guess some people like it that way. I prefer a quiet place so we can have a conversation.

I have been to the Kendall Bonefish Grill location about 3 times and the quality of the food is always excellent. Not excellent enough to take my phone out post meal and review it though. I decided to visit this location for my girlfriends birthday and it is a decision I will not regret. The cod I ordered was extraordinarily fresh. I substituted the French fries for sautéed spinach and it did not disappoint. Our server/waitresss name was Lauren, who showed manager like qualities and definitely added the cherry to our experience at this Bone Fish location. I recommend and will be back.

My wife and I been here for lunch, the please if very clean the service is friendly, and the food is great. We got an appetizer to lunch plates and latte after. The bang bang shrimp tacos are awesome. This is a seafood place so the price is up there. But if you looking for good seafood and a nice atmosphere it is worth the price. For two people with appetizer, beer, two dishes and coffee after the meal was about $30 each w/ 20% tip. It is a good spot for a date night.

I always enjoy the drinks and food; however; the employee responsible for welcoming guests and opening the door refused the open the door for my wife and I. As a loyal customer every birthday and business holiday meal, I was more than disappointment in feeling under appreciated as a gay guest. To ensure I wasnt feeling overly sensitive, I waited a few minutes and watched the same employee open the door for heterosexual couples immediately after us. Thats simply sad.

Found a hair in both my meal and my sons meal. They paid for those 2 meals and gave us $50 and free dessert as a way to make up for the incident but it just feels like it fell short. I think they should have paid the whole tab. Now my wifes stomach is super upset as a result of her meal from the restaurant on top of everything else. Even though our waitress was fantastic we wont be going back...

Ordered the Chilean sea bass for my daughter and I. At $27 and $30. The presentation was mediocre. The fish was greasy. The texture was gummy not flakey. If you know how and what Sea Bass is supposed to look like and taste like, youll be disappointed. This meal started out nice with bang bang shrimp and a nice server. Great place for cocktails and appetizers.
