I was yearning for some authentic New York Pizza and wanted to try this place out. The pic of the pizza on the website looked soooo good. When I called in my order... they didnt take my name or number....hum? When I got there it was so dead i guess there was no way to confuse the orders. " Im the large NY style cheese." The atmosphere was nice and the staff was pleasant. I noticed a banner with 8.99 for a large pie MON-TUES-WED. Unfortunately Id come on a Friday afternoon so paid full price $13.90 w/tax. The first thing i noticed when picking up the pizza was how light it was...when i got in my car i inspected to make sure it was there...looked good but they failed to cut it. I went back in and had it cut. It was a long drive home with the smell of pizza filling the car.....it did look impressive when i opened the box...the perfect orange/yellow color.... but upon selecting my first slice i immediately noticed that there wasnt much cheese. I expect a 18" NY style pizza to droop with moist cheese as you pick up an over-sized slice. The "ooey gooey" factor is a must but this one resembled a frozen pizza as each slice was like a board with very little cheese or sauce on top. The crust was about 1" then only a light sprinkle of cheese & sauce for another 1" before the cheese line started. The taste was fair ...no eyes rolling behind your head with the first juicy bite. The crust wasnt tasty but kinda on the dry side. Their other items might be better but I probably wont be going back....Soooo my yearning for some authentic New York Pizza continues....

Normally I would give this place 5 stars because its usually awesome, however my last experience was less than satisfactory. I hope this review compels management to make a change. My friends and I decided to celebrate America! by ordering pizza, garlic knots and garlic parmesan wings. I admit that garlic knots AND garlic parmesan wings are a bold combination, but we love garlic just as much as we love this great county. Unfortunately the otherwise tasty wings were covered in so much oily semi-raw garlic that they were almost inedible. A few of us tried (in the spirit of the holiday), but its hard to feel patriotic when youre scraping garlic off meat with a plastic fork. Its just plain unAmerican. One of our guests had to use the bathroom immediately after ingesting the wings. Evidently the results were so horrific that he actually urged us to throw away our toothbrushes due to exposure. We cannot be certain that his reaction was directly related to the garlic, but it totally was. The rest of our order was delicious so no other complaints. I just hope that NY NY changes their garlic parmesan wing recipe to taste appropriately garlicky. Like freedom. America!

The most unprofessional employees, the girl on the phone was extremely rude, condescending, when she had screwed up the order. She proceeds to undermine costumers for her mistake. Then when asked to speak to the manager, he again was rude and unapologetic about his employees mistake, then tries to charge us again to replace the food that the had prepared wrong. Claiming we were the ones that had made the mistake, when we were very specific about our order. We have order from there before and not had a problem until this last time. So in turn we will never order from here again, and I feel bad for the delivery drivers and cooks for the food was good and the driver was nice and how they have to suffer from incompetent employee and manager.

The Westchase location is very inconsistent! Recently its gone downhill! The grandmas pie used to be the hit, but now its inconsistent - sometimes the sauce is on par, sometimes it isnt. Sometimes the thin crust is perfect, sometimes it soggy or burnt. This time it was too thick. Dont order the dishes like pasta with bolognese - the sauce tastes like a marinara where they chopped ground beef and mostly sausage into finer pieces and put them in at the end. The sauce doesnt taste like it cooked all day with ground beef and or ground pork of both! Its a marinara with cut up sausage added in later and way too greasy! Disappointed again after the most recent 2 orders. Time to go to Mellow Mushroom or some place else!

This pizza place has gone downhill. Unfortunately poor customer service, pizza lacking toppings. They are also no longer using the good mozzarella they used to use. Overall 1*. If you want a GOOD NY pie, at a better price I suggest Tomato Joes. Better prices, better customer service, better pizza by a LONG SHOT! I was in the mood for close slices and I would have been better off ordering a small pie from Joes... Dont waste your time. To add insult to injury when I talked to the guy about the pizza he didnt care. He said, Ok Guy whatever, as I walked out the door.

Great New York Style Pizza - Small Location This is a local chain with a handful of locations around the Tampa area. They serve New York style pizza with slices available at anytime. We have visited this location once, but like the Dale Mabry location better. The food is always consistent and good - but seems better at Dale Mabry. Service was very average. They have a 2 slice and pop deal for $5 (cheese), $6 (pepperoni), $7 (all other pizzas) depending on the pizza you want. We also enjoy their Antipasto Salad - its full of toppings and fresh.

Sitting at home on a cloudy sunday watching Food Networks DDD and on comes a New York Pizza joint. My pregnant beauty looks at me and says "I HAVE TO HAVE PIZZA!!!" Having never tried Brunos the only reason for choosing it was location, location, location. Ordered the veggie pizza without green peppers and garlic knots. Got the pizza home and "OMG" the best pizza I have had in a long time. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome.

Pizza may be OK pizza (no different than other places) but pick it up if you like your pizza hot! Our delivered pizza are consistently being delivered cold... We gave them a couple chances to make sure it wasnt just a fluke. In fact, I am writing this review as our just delivered pizza is in the oven.

At first the food was wonderful. Then as time went on it became worse. The canolli were always hollow in the middle. Last night I ordered a Sicilian pie, it was no thicker if not thinner than a 7-11 pizza. I had to throw it away cause it tasted sour. I think the sauce was bad. It really has gone downhill.

Ive been here several times now, for takeout or delivery only, and the pizza has always been very very good. I am from New Jersey and am used to NJ/NYC pizza (which is the best ;) ) and this is really probably the closest Ive gotten to an authentic Italian pie. Their Garden State pie is amazing!

Ordered a meatball sandwich, it was absolutely terrible. I dont know what kind of meat was used to make the meatballs it was definitely not homemade, and it was nowhere near what a Italian meatball sub should be. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
