To be honest the pork that I ordered for Dec 24th was way too nasty, the skin had hair and it seems to be artificial, that is not a Colombian pork, it was full of water, and the price was way TOO HIGH !!! The worst pork Ive eaten in my life, way too nasty, Id never eat there again !!!

Its sad when something good turns bad. We go to Pequeña Colombia every time were in Tampa. Since the last time we were there we noticed things have changed for bad, the prices as anybody else had gone up but that is understandable due to high price of food in general, but that shouldnt affect the quality. The last time my husband ordered churrasco, he was asked if he wanted sautéed onions, he said yes to later find they charge $2.00 extra for them! We went today to give another try, he ordered Carne asada, I settled for bandeja ?? ..I asked whether we could order a small (child size) arroz con pollo for my grandson 6.the answer was NO. Small soup maybe? No! The idea of eating in a Colombian place is to eat Colombian, otherwise we go to McDonalds . Burger and French fries. My husband meat came out cold with dry out French fries. My food was also cold! I sent back the beans to warm up, they zapped them for a 1 minute or so and that was it! No apology, maybe a fresh cup etc. The salad: shredded cabbage, 1/2 slice of cucumber, couple of slices of tomato, not very impressive.. what happened? Its obvious the restaurant change hands or management, but in my opinion going down the tube. I dont think will go there anymore, not worth the trip or the price.

I got the Churrasco skirt steak and the flavor was meat were awesome, some of the beast I have ever had! However, the sides were a little below par for me. I got the yuca frita and tostones both unfortunately looked and tasted as if they were sitting under a heat lamp for longer than they should have been. I can say that they were not made to order and that is for sure! The arepas side we got was as hard as a hockey puck and Im not kidding. That is not how arepas should be served. So this is my first time going and Ill give it another shot to see if that was just a bad night for them. The only reason Im heading back is because that skirt steak was awesome best in Tampa so far. Ill amend the review based on my second venture. Sad because Ive heard so much about this place

I have to edit my review, because Ive been back a few times since my last review and I have to say this place is now one of my favorites. I think the only bad thing is that their menu is so huge I can never decide what to eat. They have really expanded and changed. I dont know of any other Colombian restaurant in Tampa that can top this one. The food is amazing. This is definitely a place to bring guests from out-of-town, they will love it. Everything comes out with a beautiful presentation, it looks the same as it does on the menu/website. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, the staff is exceptional, and the bakery is a MUST. Make sure you get an empanada or 2 for each person while you wait, theyre delicious.

Went to eat there on a Sunday evening based on reviews here, boy Ive learned my lesson. The food was ok and servers were pleasant and attentive Ill give them that however having an army of 25+ ants next to you literally running back and forth and on the walls was the worst thing you could ever see in a restaurant. Apart from having no AC there was limited napkins uncomfortable chairs and a not so clean wooden table. The food was ok so apart from bugs crawling in our table a fact that we didnt realize until we got the food its was a less than ok dinning experience. Told the server about the bugs didnt apologize or offered anything for the trouble just made an excuse and said it was normal given the climate. Not ok at all

Leo very good feedback that almost everyone liked. My experience was not good. I went at 7:30 pm with my family and I could barely hear them because they have a fair pop arlado dining with super loud music. From your chair you can see the pop smoothly. People dressed in and out out of place, which would not have been uncomfortable if not walk with my little boy. It is good environment for you like drinking, dancing and flirting but not to go out with your children. It is my opinion, today people have a very open mind and does not care. And not return to pay $ 19 for a plate of white rice with garlic shrimp and 3 croutons. The horchata was buena
