I ordered a steak w/ white rice and black beans bowl and when I sat down to eat, the beans tasted like smoked beans (when the beans are left in the burner for a long time). The server gave me the bottom last serving of beans left in the silver container - so the beans may have been sitting out for quite some time in the heat. I tried taking another bite and get over the burnt taste but it was overpowering and difficult to swallow. Immediately I consulted with the cashier for another steak bowl replacement. One of the employees, that notice what had happen, immediately took my order in a Chipotle fax form sheet to provide to the server and offered me chips and drinks while I waited for my meal. She said it would take a little bit as there was no steak and it was being cut for serving. I waited there for quite some time and at least 10 people had already had their orders fulfilled and paid for. I became so upset that I went to the cashier (and despite the steak being restocked) my order never went down the line. The fax sheet of paper was still sitting, in the corner, next to the server. Ultimately I requested a refund. Im a frequent flyer to this franchise location and was very upset with my service, not too much that that the meal was the leftover of the container but that they had forgotten about my replacement order all together. We pay 8 or 9 dollars for a bowl (That in itself is expensive already to be receiving whats left from the beans and steak container). My best advice is that - Dont wait until the food is running out to replace it, even if it takes 1 person out of 10 in line to wait in extra 2 minutes while you turn your back to replace whats missing. Food become stale after sitting out for too long or when its overheated/under-heated. I had a terrible experience and a waste of time.

First off, I work in the plaza and see how constantly busy it is in there. I noticed that people are complaining about the wait time, this location is right next to the University of South Florida and there is never a shortage of college students going through there. So for those who are impatient: its next to a college and is always busy. While working at a store in the plaza I have experienced first hand the amount of attempted counterfeited bills that come through this area, and due to that, most stores in this plaza will not accept 100s especially a place as busy as that where the process of checking cannot be as thorough as a franchise would prefer. So there are the facts that go along with the only complaints I really see here. Second off, oh man, the amount of times I have eaten here! Their burritos are absolutely amazing, and if you ask nicely for a little extra inside that giant burrito... theyll usually say yes and add to that beast of a meal. The wait is worth the reward, and because I have always lived in busy areas, the Chipotles always have a similar line. If youre in a hurry, you can always order online and save everybody some time. Conclusion: Amazing food! Awesome atmosphere! Definitely worth waiting in that line! *Typed this review right before I order an amazing burrito*

I never in my life had Chipotle until today. What can I say? I am not sure if it was just this location or every Chipotle in the whole US. I literally waited in line for 27 minutes and this was around 3:30pm. When I am ready to order my food, I felt entirely rushed. How was I supposed to know what to order if I had never had their food. Literally every person working in each station was rushing me and not polite at all. It almost seemed as if they were annoyed. When I get to work to finally eat my food, I was entirely disappointed. Not as good as everyone says it is. I ordered their burrito and it was not good at all. I would rather pay $7 for a real burrito from an actual Mexican restaurant. The only thing good here were the chips. I would never in my life step food in another Chipotle again. I think this place is completely overrated.

Worst ever! If I wasnt on my way to work I would have demanded my money back & left. Just waited 25 mins to sit at a metal table under freezing air & eat ICE COLD tacos & chips that cost me $12! To make it worse, the employee I asked to warm the air conditioning a bit, since others were commenting on how cold it was, responded with eye roll & it subsequently got colder! If you hate your job so much, quit! But its not his fault, its the lack of leadership. No visible manager & lack of organization among the children working there is the managements fail. Dont waste your money & time at this Chipotle! I know I wont & likely wont visit any other Chipotle again for a long time! Fail.

Not sure why I bother. Seems that some of the "in charge" employees are a bit inept. Oh ,there are six people waiting to be cashed out? Let me restock the cold drinks while they are waiting on me, while i work in pajama pants. To finally get rung up and not sure if everything is good as she begins a conversation with another intelligent person. She ignores me while I ask multiple times are we good. How about an actual manager oversee things, maybe have two people man the registers during the lunch rush, not just "pajama pants". The employees that have some sort of awareness, can only sit by and shake their head at the intelligent individuals holding things up.

Chipotle is the top tier when it comes to burrito bars. They have the freshest ingredients and the freshest environment. Their meats are well seasoned and not over-cooked like most burrito places, and their selection of fillings includes anything you would want in a burrito. They may not have as much variety as most places but its because they dont need it. Chipotle offers a fresh straight forward delicious burrito that is sure to please every time. I think the best testament to chipotles deliciousness is that when I crave a chipotle burrito, nothing else will suffice.

Order online or wait in line service will still be slow either way On top of that I ordered online they call me to tell me they didnt have no beans at all, that they would give me a buy 1 get 1 free, so I asked for extra avocado at no charge and was told they couldnt do that in place of beans so I said no, in place of a free bowl, they was like oh yeah I can do that SMH, then when I got there 15 mins later there was barely a line and I still had to wait like 10 mins

This Chipotle location is one of the best. While constantly busy (like line wrapping around the inside busy) they constantly provide a friendly atmosphere and great food. Its a short walk from the USF campus too, so its quite convenient for students. The worst thing about this particular location is that they are quite often out of a certain ingredient. You could wait for it and theyd remake your meal of course, but its normally a twenty minute wait.

Seems like they try really hard to keep it adequately staffed, but there are very long lines during peak hours and sometimes you might have to wait for a new batch of food to be made. I always see one of the managers running a very tight ship. She keeps an eye on all her employees and the status of the restaurant. Its a Chipotle. Theyre all pretty standardized and give you a good amount of food for the price.
