The reason I went here is because my sister had been here and had a salad before and loved it. So I went with my sister, and honestly the meal started out well. She forgot her purse at the bar and a nice waiter brought it to her. Let me say at the get go that normally my sister and I will eat anything and are not picky. We started with the fish dip which was good, though it took a pretty long time to come out. Our waitress came by and told us twice that the fish dip was coming out immediately. Which was obviously not true the first time. We both ordered salads for dinner: I ordered Romaine and spinach with cucumbers tomatoes red onions and goat cheese with chicken. My sister ordered mix greens with pine nuts red onions craisins goat cheese and carrots with chicken. Our salads came out about twenty minutes later, and mine had craisins and no goat cheese, while my sisters had red peppers not red onions. The important part really is that I had NO romaine on my salad, and they in fact brought me a spring mix. So we both had spring mix. Normally I would just power through, but the lettuce was gross. I wanted to take a picture of it, but weve all had lettuce that wilted and went bad and turned mushy, so you know what Im talking about when I said the lettuce was basically inedible. The chicken also smelled like wet dogs and looked like human fingers, not chicken breasts. Also my salad came without dressing and the waitress said it would be 5 more minutes before I could have any. On top of all of this, Im about 95% sure our waitress was high. She was moving so slowly to take our orders and she looked like she almost fell asleep a few times. She also ran into someone walking away from us and didnt even notice. Please take my word that I rarely complain to management, only when the food cant be eaten. So we spoke with the manager and he took the salads back. Then the waitress came and apologized a few times. She would just stand over our table looking at us for minutes at a time, rocking back and forth. Eventually the manager brought back the new salads and we still just had spring mix. They had added about two leaves of romaine. I cant stand mixed greens because of how soggy they get. There was also no spinach on mine. My sister finally got the correct salad, but I didnt want them to remake my salad again so I just stuck it out. I ate the chicken but my sister couldnt get past the bad smell. Then, our mistake, we ordered dessert. A completely different waitress brought the dessert and said the chef "made it with love" which we all know means he did something to it. So we pushed that around the plate and left as soon as possible. Another note: I went to the bathroom, which was gross, after we ordered dessert, and our waitress was standing in front of the mirror staring into it not washing her hands or anything. After I went to the bathroom and came out, she was still there, staring into the mirror. When I went back to the table and she stopped by to apologize again, she was totally different, hyped up, and very talkative, which was completely the opposite of the beginning of the meal. By the end of the meal, I was 100% sure our waitress was high, and the best part was the live music, which I normally hate.

Just left Mothers Day celebration. I was a little disappointed when we got there because looking at their website it said they served brunch, but we were not offered a brunch menu. Oh well, I can adapt, though I was looking forward to some french toast. The servers were very friendly and helpful, and for being as busy as they were service time was fine. It is a bit noisy, but we had no problems having conversations across the table. The dining area is large and open. This is much like Marie Livingstons was when they were there. Most of my family ordered the fried seafood and were fine with it. I ordered the almond crusted salmon with mango coconut rice. To start with the fish was cooked well, juicy and flaky, like salmon should be. I couldnt really taste the almonds, they were finely chopped, but did add some crunch. It was a little bland, but I figured that would be ok once I mixed it into the rice. The rice. Well...the flavor mix was interesting and I had high hopes for it. The first few bites were pleasant, however the more I ate the more overpowering the onions became. (Does this dish really even need them?) There were just too many and they were so lightly cooked that a lot of them were still raw. By the time I was halfway through all I could taste were the onions. I think that if either they put fewer onions in or they cooked the onions through a bit more then this dish would have been a home run. They really overpowered all of the other flavors on the plate. I am wishing that I hadnt mixed my salmon in with the rice, so I could have enjoyed it by itself. Also it was not served with lemon. I requested some wedges and when I squeezed them over the dish it really tied the flavors of the fish and the rice together. I would suggest adding a lemon wedge or two as a part of this dish. I did eat over half of this, it was certainly not horrible, but I couldnt finish it. I think it just needs a little tweeking and it will be awesome. Its been an hour and a half and I am still tasting onions. My boyfriend couldnt eat while we were there, due to blood sugar issues, so he got the crabcake sandwich to go. He said the remoulade sauce was very good. The sandwich is the size of a burger. My daughter got the fish and chips and said it was ok, but she wanted lemon too. She couldnt finish all of hers, so I can tell the portions are pretty good sizes. Our checks were divided and brought and cashed out in a timely fasion. The server was very friendly and upbeat, brought us everything we needed, and attended to us properly without being overly annoying. She certainly gets an A+. Overall I think this place is ok and I am willing to give them aonther shot. I know that they are fairly new and sometimes a little fine tuning is needed to make it all come together.

Wow !!! Traveling from Orlando to Destin and pulled up restaurants along I-10. This is now one of my favorites. We pulled in for dinner around 7:00 on a Friday not knowing what to expect. This was definitely the right turn. Great seafood restaurant, great relaxed family atmosphere, great service. We got seated right away even though the place was packed. Paige was our waitress, she and her bright smile were refreshing after being at big chain restaurants in Orlando. I had the Blackened snapper on a cornbread dressing, it was amazing !! My buddy had the boom boom shrimp tacos. "Better than Bonefish". The prices were reasonable too. Heres the best part, they had live music singing great music with classic rock and some country. They have a huge Cheers type bar in the middle of the dining area. The only complaint I have is that the garbage area smelled horrible. Definitely dont want to park near the back, my fault I should have known better, its seafood. Great diverse crowd there and super friendly staff. I would recommend for someone who truly appreciates good quality seafood on a budget. I will old give this place 9 stars if I could, cant wait to go back on my next trip to Orlando.
