I date a local who suggested eating @ the Seineyard, just yesterday 01/15/2010. Granted i have eaten there before with him, but I am more aware of restaurants now since i work at one. This is my first online restaurant review. As you walk into the large pleasant looking building, there is a whiteboard filled with Specials shielding the host stand, a convenient wooden bench, - as the majority of the folks dining were over 50 - the cash register area followed by bathrooms. When we entered, we were immediately - not "greeted" - but the hostess readily was aware of our presence, asked "How many?" and seated us within mere seconds. I barely saw the specials, which is fine, you can always ask your server. They place name tags of who your server is on the edge of the table, ours said Linda. I LOVED LINDA!! She was a middle-aged little lady who was so thoughtful & welcoming, i forgot all about the hostess!! She asked us if wed read the specials & i said no & she without hesitation told us what they were. Our appetizer and meal were both ordered at the same time and came out accordingly. We ordered the crab claw appetizer & both had fried shrimp & grouper entrees. They were all deliciously crispy and not over-fried. My boyfriend is a food fanatic & if something isnt right, he will tell someone. We had no complaints!! Linda gave us refills & lids to our cups, the check & told us thanks for coming & to come back soon. We needed change for the tip so we waited in line @ checkout. I took the 18% tip back to our table which was already seated by two businessmen so i looked around for Linda. I found her, walked up putting the money in her hand & gave her a big hug saying she was "Awesome & thank you for your great service!" She was overwhelmed!! :) I would definitely go back!! PROs: *At first I thought it was silly that they place name cards on the tables stating who your server is. Later I thought that sometimes it could be appreciated by people who either dont listen to their server - which is very common - or if the server is not good at their job, you need to speak to a manager about their performance and know who youre talking about. Its never fun to get blamed for someone else s wrong-doings. *Even tho i didnt order off the specials, it was good to see that our server knew what she was talking about. *While waiting for our appetizer, a table near us had accidentally spilled a drink as they were trying to leave. The nearest table gave them some napkins, as did i & their server was very quick to help them as well! CONs: *The hostess is who i think gave the worst service. We werent "welcomed" into the place, which is very important to guests. *I noticed that the hostess was also the cashier. I disagree with this because while she had a long line of customers ready to pay, there were hungry people waiting at the door to be greeted & seated. She should have asked a less busy server for help in my opinion. I could then relate to her rushed demeanor when she sat us; she was stressed - another reason for having separate host/cashier positions.

I just bought take-out from the Other Sieneyard in the Lake Ella Publix Plaza. Not only was my phone experience with the host horrible and lacking any real communication skills, but when I went in to get the food I had to wait for her to stop talking with the cooks that were up front before I could get my change. The first bite of my blackened grouper sandwich had about 3 bones, and there was no blackening on my fish. Over all you have lot of work to do if this is what your going to bring to mid-town, I can go down the street and get better and fresher for less.

Went to the Woodville one cause it was to far to travel to Tally. I hope the one in Tally is better. The Woodville one was a very big disappointment. The shrimp was over cooked and like rubber. Table service was the worst I have ever had. I travel a lot all over the USA and to some foreign countries and our server would have been fired if this person worked for me. She acted like she was doing us a favor by serving our tasteless food. Never came by our table during the meal, but to hand us the bill. Wont go back again ever.

We usually did take out at this restaurant. After never getting what we ordered we havent ordered in over 8 months. So, tonight hoping the service was better again we tried. These are the items we didnt get. Baked potato, salad and husband had ordered the Jr platter with Grouper and he got mullet. I decided to try the Snapper Broiled as suggested. It was dry and hard. Really disappointed in our meals quality and paying for items we dont get now for the 4th time.

Went for lunch to the Seinyard at Lake Ella Publix. Had the grilled shrimp special. Shrimp were over buttered and greasy. Sisters blackened popcorn shrimp salad was super salty and the greens looked like they were a week old. Not sure I would go back to this place. Also, you cannot get a sweet Potatoe before 5 PM (no idea why) and they will not allow you to have a Potatoe with the lunch special. I dont understand their deal with potatoes.

Awful! They dont serve local scallops. The ones they serve are huge and perfectly round, maybe sea scallops from out of state or stingray. Baked potato was not cooked today, it had been cooked and reheated several times. Mullet was not fresh and our waitress was very unfriendly. We didnt say anything to them about how bad it was but we will not be back.

This is a great go to for Early Bird Specials or lunch on the weekend when you want some basic good seafood. They do a blackened stuffed grouper that I LOVE, but is pretty pricey so only a birthday or special occasion item. Baskets and regular plates decently priced. We have been going for a long time so the staff is super friendly and knows us.

I had fried shrimp with cheese grits and baked beans. Tasted okay, but it took over an hour to get our food. The kitchen was obviously having issues. The server came by to apologize, but seemed to forget us when it was time to bring the check. I wont go back for just okay food served on a Styrofoam plate.

I ordered shrimp salad and figured I would get 5-6 grilled shrimp. But got more shrimp than lettuce. Popcorn shrimp covered my salad. Was excellent!!! Thumbs up to this place.

The new Seineyards at Summer Camp in St. Teresa, Florida, is a great experience. The views and the people are great and if you enjoy Southern food, it is great.

Fresh seafood broiled or fried... great downhome place with great downhome folks... worth the drive from Tallahassee! Love the rocking chair front porch too.

Good seafood, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Suitable for any size group. No bar but has take out and the liquor store is only a few blocks south.

Food was good. Waited nearly 10 minutes to be greeted and we were the only people at entrance. It wasnt that busy. Floors dirty and littered with napkins.
