The dilly dally deli flirts with greatness but falls short. My friend and I each bought a sandwich and split them so we could each try two different choices. He got the super and I got the Italian. When our order arrived the first thing we noticed was the size of the subs: for $11, it was on the small side. Alot of their competitors include a pickle, which is a nice addition when offered, but absent at DDD. Both sandwiches featured a very well balanced meat/vegetable/cheese/condiment profile which was a delight to the taste buds. The meat was quite present, but not too obtrusive. The vegetables were fresh, flavorful and a compliment to the meat. Cheese was creamy and smooth. Each sandwich featured different condiments that provided an enjoyable and unique experience. I found the bread a little on the crumbly side, though my friend thought it was more than satisfactory. The ambiance is spartan, with clean tables and walls. Steel stools the lone furniture option to sit. Beverages are single cans from the accessible reach in cooler. The food and experience were both enjoyable enough to make me want to come back but for my lunch budget dollar, the value just wasnt there. Competition is devilishly ruthless in the deli business with enough options to keep you trying someplace new for months. When I consider the advantages my money has in quantity and quality elsewhere, its hard for me to plan DDD as a lunch destination. Should I return, Im confident Ill find the same above average product, which Ill enjoy in the same uncluttered deli. Ill just have to make sure to bring a few extra dollars.

Staff was friendly and the food was good. We got a Reuben and a Big Dipper and both sandwiches were excellent. The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the smell of the bait and tackle shop 2-3 stores down was wafting over into the deli. I dont know if they can help that or not but that does need to to be fixed.

My husband and I split a Cuban and a reuben for lunch and both sandwiches were awesome! We could have easily just shared the Cuban - it was giant! We love supporting small businesses and are very happy we checked DDD out! The owner and staff were very friendly and efficient with orders. Well definitely be back!

I have never been treated so poorly . Couldnt even finish my order.....kept interrupting...snapped at me when I asked a question. Needless to say I walked out...and her response to me as I was exiting....was whatever!

Fantastic service and a great selection of unusual chip flavors Ive never seen before. Fresh meat that you can purchase by the pound if needed as well. The Big Dipper was great and was served with authentic Au Jus
