Ive been going to this store location for over 5 yrs. I have always encountered friendly helpful employees. Today all were friendly and smiley except 2... The cashier, a young lady with a name that ended in "iana", seemed like she really did not want to be there, did not smile, spoke as if she were drained of any and all energy, sausily told me in a very lifeless voice how much I have in plenty points and gave me my receipt. She did not say thank you, have a nice day or anything. Then while I was driving towards the parking exit (towards the street) a lady dressed in her uniform was walking extremely slowly in the middle of the way all the way to the entrance of the store. She was in no rush to get inside nor to let me get off the property. I eventually tired of her so I tapped in my horn so she would move and she ignored me. When I finally found a moment where I can get past her I looked at her and she had the meanest look on her face. I thought "how rude"! But ignored her and drove on by. Sad 2 people would ruin the nice rating Ive had for you always!

Been going to Winn-Dixie for years. The only not so good experience I ever had was when an alarm was set off as I was leaving. I had purchased a new pair of boots from a local western boot store and due to one of those things businesses use to curb shop lifting being left inside the boot, it set off Winn-Dixies alarm. The funny part is that it would set off other stores alarm too. A guard at a Wal-Mart figured it out for me.

Theyve got good deals, produce, meat, and a great selection of dry goods. Go here for the specials and then buy the rest of your food at Wal-Mart. I usually avoid this store because I used to work here. It was a crappy store to work at back when I worked there. I dont if changed for better or worse once Bi-Lo took over. It is however, a great place to shop if youre not a previous employee.

Always very kind people in this store always ready to help you find anything you need instead of pointing it out they take you right to it and when you leave youve always got a smile on your face for all the happiness they give you and I will continue shopping there and have continued shopping there for the past 23 years.

Seems like everything closes up way before closing. Try getting anything from fish, bakery or deli. Whats up if I want hot chicken at 8:00 pm when you close at 11:00 p.m I could see 9:30 as,a,start to close, unless of course you rather I go to publix, where life bustles even after dusk

Its clean, bright, and well organized. The staff is very helpful and personable. Granted, there are the occasional employees that are just employees but for the most part, Delands Winn Dixie is a great place to go for good food selection, discounts, and a friendly helpful staff.

Can pick up good deals on buy one get one free but the prices are really over inflated on those items. I look for items that give the 5 cents bonus but only buy if I need the item or will use it. Learned hard way on items that I ended up chucking. Not crazy about the bakery.

Always low prices, lots of Bogos, earn rewards on the Plenti Rewards card and redeem points on gas or groceries! Freshest produce, seafood and meats. Very low turn over in employees...they are there forever and shopping there is like visting family :-)

When I lived in DeLand I shopped there for a few years I dont go there very often anymore I prefer Publix but their customer service of that store seems pretty good most Winn-Dixies the service isnt very good
