HORRIBLE service and not family friendly. We spent the morning at the Colonial Quarter which was fun, and decided to try the restaurant for lunch. there were 2 empty tables on the patio but the hostess said we could only sit inside. So, we brought the kids and the stroller inside. USUALLY a place will accomodate us and move things out of the way so we can sit but no one lifted a finger. I got the stroller wedged in as close to the table as I could with the chairs in the way, ordered a drink and the. the hostess comes up rolls her eyes and huffs at us as tells us "they have to move" they being our children because she has 2 people she needs to sit in the table next to us but before I can even get up and try these people have already sat down and the hostess has stormed off, Now my kids and the stroller are literally wedged between a table and the person next to us. We paid for our overpriced drinks and left. we will never come back.

This is one of the few places along the corridor where you can go to avoid loud music and stupid people and just sit down and have great conversations with your people and others who are there. The food punches way above its weight and the bartender actually knows how to make a drink. Its a small place so thst helps keep the riff-raff out. This is just one of those really cool places that youll want to go back to on your next visit. We had a little bit of everything but theyre pot pie is fantastic. We stayed there for 2 hours earting and drinking talking with the bartender and other patrons. Its several steps up in class to most of what you find along the corridor.

We stopped here with some family members and I dont know if I would eat here again. There was nothing wrong but food was average and there seem to be so many better choices all around. We ate outdoors and it was unbearable hot. Menu was limited and mostly pub food choices, som limited menu suggests you choices are excellent......not so much. I got a club sandwich which was just ok. Left part of it since the ham was extremely fatty, bacon soggy even though I dont eat bacon. Nothing fabulous about it. The grilled cheese seemed to be a rip off for what you received. Would recommend the burger which was massive. Been there, done that and I wont be back.

Drinks were good--service was lacking. I attended over the 450 Celebration weekend. The hostess was so rude and acted like customers were the least of her concerns. She told me seating was first come, first serve, but when I go to sit a table she rudely tells me I cant sit there and pulls the chair away. I found a seat at the bar and the bartender was helpful at first. But, then a large rowdy party came in and her attention was elsewhere. It took 15 minutes to get my second beer from the time I ordered it. There are lots of other great options that you should try over this establishment.

This is probobaly one of the worst places I have ever ate at well we didnt end up eating so I shouldnt say that. As we walked in the service was appalling. I got my drink 20 minutes after I ordered it. The appatizer took over an hour to receive and it wasnt great. Then every table that came after us have received their food and left by the time the waiter said ours was coming. We walked out just before it came and watched his face as we walked away. Whatever you do dont come here eat literally anywhere else and that shouldnt be that hard in st Augustine.

Food was good but the portions are pretty small, especially if you take the price into consideration. Service is slow! And the service is not good, groups of more than 4 cannot sit at one table, no way! They wont shift tables for you. Last but not least, there is no bathroom available. They will send you to their second restaurant. Im sure you can find a better place to enjoy some drinks or food!

We ordered the chicken pot pies and were told there was nothing better on the menu. Hoping thats not true cause the dough was raw under the crust and the chicken was stringy and mostly peas with a couple of small pieces of carrot. Not a great pot pie. The price was great at $10 but I wouldve paid a couple of dollars more to get a better pie. The service was slow for what we ordered.

I only write negative reviews if it is truly a terrible experience. A burger with bacon took about 30 minutes...and the restaurant was slow. I would have enjoyed a $2 burger from McDonalds more than that pitiful burger that was small, overdone and topped with one slice of bacon that was cut in half (yet we were charged for it) with a small portion of fries. #FAIL

The service was good, the location is great, but the food is questionable. The burgers we ordered were as hard as rock, it made crunchy noise when I bit into it. I have had well done burgers before, nothing like this, it felt like leftover from days ago. The hot chicken pie is tasty though, if you want to eat anything, try that first.

Service was prompt and very friendly. Was allowed to sit wherever we wanted. There was something on the menu for everyone in our party, from colorful salads to hearty Shepards Pie (which was made from scratch and amazing). Place is very outdoorsy, so beware of going there when its blazing hot.

After ordering an appetizer of wings, I found several fried feathers on my wings. I asked the server to speak to a manager about this, and was blown off, with him stating "I cant find a manager." This was one of the worst restaurant experiences Ive had in a long, long time.

Fish spread was ok came with rock hard toasted bread, drinks arrived 5-8 minutes after all food came out had ordered it all at once. Wings were average. Asked for more vegetables for fish spread it never came. Outside seating for just drinks would be ok but thats it.

Good drinks, good service, good atmosphere in the heart of the historic district. Spinach artichoke dip was the same as anywhere, nothing spectacular. Shepherds pie was decent Shepherds okay, nothing rememberable and the portion size did not constitute the price.

We went here during our Colonial Quarters tour. I have to say, the food and the drinks were great. With the colonial quarters and fort "tour package" you get 10% off here as well. Not over crowded and reasonably priced, I plan to go back very soon.

We stopped in for a drink and a snack. We got the Datil wings - you only got 7 and they were not spicy at all. The waitress was friendly and provided good service. The drinks were delicious but overall a bit pricey for what you get.

Not satisfied. Servers are cool. Food was a way salty. They have happy hours and nice drinks. Edit: after i sent the food back, the chef approached to our table and apologized for the salty food. Good manners is important. Thanks.
