I visited Station 5 on a Friday night prior to going to the cinema with my husband. Our original dinner plans came to an abrupt end when the place we were originally going to was permanently closed — yikes! We saw Station 5 on Yelp and it was located just one block down, so we settled. Were so happy we made that decision! The second we walked in, a very friendly woman seated us and brought out water. We sat in a booth-like table right next to the window at the front. The atmosphere is decent but the seats arent the most comfortable. Definitely sit in a chair and not the bench. We personally would not sit near the window again, as there was a string of "Christmas" lights that every now and then would blink. The blinking was annoying. The place was busy with several tables and bar seats taken but it wasnt a full house. Our server was attentive and kind, definitely gave good service. I ordered the Steak + Fries (Churrasco Steak with French fries) and my husband ordered the trio Taco combo — one Lobster, one Short Rib, and one Pork. Both plates were delicious. The Churrasco with their house-made chimichurri sauce was delicious, and the fries were pretty good. The tacos were good too. My favorite was the Short Rib taco. It was interesting that it includes Cheetos inside but it was just so good. The other two tacos were just okay. Id probably rank the lobster taco second and the pork taco last. The rice that came with the tacos was meh. The chips + guac were better than expected. Overall: delicious food and great service! Well be back.

I drive through South Miami a million times a year and can you believe that Ive only just found this gem called Station 5? If youre in the area and youre looking for craft beer specials and something more flavorful than your typical bar food, you have to stop in to Station 5. Must try their Lobster Mac and Cheese. All I can say is my mouth is watering as I type this review. If you love deliciously cheesy and fresh lobster flavor, please allow yourself to marvel at the amazingness that is this Station 5 favorite. Also, if you love tacos (and who doesnt love tacos?) you would be doing yourself a great disservice by coming here and not ordering the short rib tacos. Whats more? Theyre topped off with cheetos. CHEETOS. Absolutely genius. The servers and management are awesome as well. Theyre super social and love to laugh which make the experience all the better.

Ive been here before and it has been wonderful. The churrasco was like butter, the service was great, weve come back periodically because of it. However, I went last night and it was really not such a great experience, there was a cockroach on the table, crawling around that we had to kill which was so disgusting. This time we ordered and the steak was okay, nothing special, but along with that we asked for the Parmesan truffle fries which the waiter forgot about, its no big deal so we let them know. Instead of taking the whole plate and bringing back the plate with the new fries, they put the steak on a smaller plate (touching the table with said cockroach) and brought us the same fries in the old plate with some truffle oil and Parmesan on top, the fries were weirdly soggy. Just not a great dining experience..

Ive been here twice, but I probably wont push to return. Fantastic atmospheric and service, however, disappointing portion sizes (tacos only come with two, not three as advertised on their website), and bad happy hour specials. Poor beer selection for a restaurant bar advertising craft beer (only thing local was Wynwood) and not much of the craft selection was on happy hour. Ive had the pork belly tacos and the chicken meatloaf. The tacos were fantastic, and I was going to go with the fish tacos the most recent time I was there, but was disappointed to learn they were cod. There is so much local fresh caught fish would have expected it be local snapper, grouper, dolphin, etc. Chicken meatloaf was good, but sauce on top was too sweet for my taste.

Came for lunch recently and we had the shrimp sliders, quesadilla burger, and truffle fries. The service was great, atmosphere and music were cool, but the food was just OK. The shrimp sliders were tasty, but they were lacking in substance as there was only one shrimp for each slider, so I had several bites that were just bread, lettuce, and tomato. The quesadilla burger was also tasty and had more substance to it, but also was pretty messy and a bit difficult to handle. The truffle fries were good but couldve had a little more truffle taste, it was very subtle. Overall I felt it was a little pricey for what we got, but Ill give Station 5 another try for brunch for dinner, perhaps the other dishes are better.

Great place. My girlfriend and I heard good things about Station 5 and the rumors are true. We started off with drinks that were well made by the talented bartender. They also have an excellent selection of local craft beers. We then ordered a bacon guac with cilantro, pork belly tacos and portabello mushrooms in a bed of truffle cheese. All of it was incredibly tasty and the service was excellent. One thing Id like to also point out is that they buy all their ingredients from local farms. Well definitely be back here soon.

Food was really good! Burger was a good size, cooked perfectly, a little over seasoned. Cheeto tacos were great, but the tacos are a little over priced for what you get (2 tacos). The poutine was pretty good, and I should know Im Canadian after all. Deserts were great. Service was great. Atmosphere was hip and cozy. Over all a little pricey but a nice spot for dinner! I would recommend.

Worst food Ive had in ages. Tacos looked and tasted like something that was slopped together in school lunch cafeteria. When ordering they claimed fresh ingredients and flavor, upon picking up my food I was disappointed to see canned ingredients. We had to throw away most of the tacos because the taste was so bad. Very expensive for the cheap, not fresh ingredients.

Date Night! The restaurant is cozy, nice and pretty... Awesome music by the way! I had a burger with pepper jack (not melted!) and bacon, it was good. Came with enough fries for 1! My husband had the lomo saltado, spicy! It was good, but small portion for the price. Overall, was good, but over priced.

I did not expect this! Station 5 is a hidden gem in South Miami. Great bar with a menu that will certainly surpass your expectations. A small place, but it only adds to the charm. We will be back.

One of my favorite spots, food is great but I especially enjoy coffee at the sidewalk hightops...smoking allowed! Great coffee served in classic european style ceramic pot and cups. Just cool.
