Every Saturday morning for some time now, maybe a couple of years or so by now, I have had Saturday morning breakfast with a group of buddies. Theres maybe a dozen or so of us, and whoever can make it joins the group for a bite and kicks. Theres typically 7-9 of us any given week. Theres street / metered parking with the parking app. Though, for the most part the meter-maid / parking enforcement doesnt make their way to this area until after 10am. Town Kitchen & Bar has always given us great service. While the coffee leaves a bit to be desired, the food is typically great. I normally do the lobster eggs benedict... and its just about always delicious. Every once in a blue moon Ill have an omelet and its equally delicious. The guys usually order the same thing every week and not one of us has ever in 2 years of Saturday morning breakfast ever sent anything back to get re-done or fixed. Ive been here for drinks and happy hour as well during the week on occasion and its always been wonderful. If you have yet to venture a visit to Town Kitchen & Bar in South Miami, add it to your list.

As a former regular, I now find myself quite upset with the direction Town is going in. I used to go there nearly every Friday for a dirty martini with Chopin vodka. However, upon my birthday, I caught the bartender using Absolut while charging me extra for the Chopin. When I called it into question (not saying that Im an alcoholic, but even if I had not seen, you can tell when its cheap vodka), they lied directly to my face. I dont blame the waitress who rang me up, but both the management and the bartender did and, as I said, I literally SAW as the bartender used Absolut vodka when mixing my drink. And thats not even mentioning the fact that my party and I arrived at 7:30 and got OUR APPETIZERS at 8:45. The food has always been okay. Not the greatest, but hardly offensive. I mainly went there for the drinks after work. But now, it looks as though Ill have to look for another spot. And Ill be taking my coworkers with me. Town, for lying to your customers, not only did you lose one regular, but I dont intend to recommend you to anyone else anymore.

Horrible Customer Service!!! Took a nice drive Sunday morning from Hialeah to Town Kitchen & Bar for their Sunday brunch as my wife had been told by her friends was a nice place and there Mimosas where delicious. Arrived at the restaurant and what blew me out of the water was the hostess attitude. We walked in, said it was for us two and the hostess stated, now these where her words (our kitchen is over booked currently, we cannot seat you for another 45 minutes). Now there was several tables outside to which we asked if we could be seated outside at least for drinks? Her words where (no sir, currently we cannot seat you, like I said, our kitchen cannot take any further orders). Never in my life have I herd such a ridiculous statement come out of an employee working for a restaurant. Wow! That would make it my 1st and last time ever visiting this establishment. Rest assure I will share my experience with friends and family. Word of mouth is what helps build clientele, surely it wont help this time.

I had eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed my experience. This past weekend, I hosted my husbands 30th birthday here at Town, and I COULD NOT have had a better experience! Planning the party was a breeze -- John and Leo were so helpful and accommodating, offering suggestions and being very flexible with my requests. The night of the party, I arrived to a beautifully decorated room with Mary as our fantastic server. My husband had a wonderful night, as did I and the rest of our party. They went above and beyond anything I could have asked for -- they even provided candles for the cake because I forgot them! The food was delicious, the Heat game was on, and I didnt spend a ton of money on what would have been a very expensive party elsewhere. If you ever want to have a great party in a fun, relaxed setting with good food, drinks, and an awesome staff, HAVE IT HERE! You wont be disappointed!

We got many small plates to get a feel for the menu. Charcuterie platter was satisfactory...a little lacking in the normal accoutrements youd expect. Next was octopus which was on special and was excellent. Very tender, which was a huge plus. Then came the tuna two ways, which was ok. The seared pieces needed salt or soy sauce, very bland otherwise. The tartar portion was better with the help of a dressed seaweed salad. The duck dumplings were terrible. Tasteless and wet inside and lukewarm. We got a side of parmesan truffle fries. The fries were good, but powdered parmesan cheese? Cmon guys. Last was gnocchi, which was sadly still frozen in the middle. Or sever was, for the most part, attentive and accommodating. While we werent drinking that night, the cocktail menu looked very interesting.

a nice place to go have a good meal. its great that there is a parking gargage right across the street and it is on a corner. there is outside seating when the nights of miami are not so hot. i went for a mini school reunion. we were seated in the back of the place and it was great because we did not bother the rest of the people eating and had a great time. their menu is very well divided. i had the gemelle pasta which is their large plate menu and it was amazing. the goat cheese really took it an extra kick. our server Courtney was awesome and with so many in our party i am amazed how she remember each of us. the only reason why i dont give it a five is because their bathrooms are not label, i ended up walking into their kitchen area and had to be guided to the bathrooms.

This is a really nice place in the heart of Sunset and while I am not crazy about their lunch/dinner menu, their breakfast menu is great. Their hashbrowns have sour cream in them and while that may sound gross, dont knock it till youve tried it! My one complaint is that at times, especially on Sunday mornings, they will host baby/bridal showers so the place gets packed. Hence, service really, really, sucks. Food comes out at all different times, the orders are all wrong, and silverware is MIA. This happened to us a few months ago and my cousin Eddy, who was starving, was about 10 minutes away from having to be resuscitated back to life. I was afraid he was going to eat his newborn child.

We love Town Kitchen & Bar. I have been going to Town for years and you can find me there EVERY saturday morning, as they have the best breakfast in town (and they offer both breakfast and lunch menus after 11am - which pleases both my fussy children!). Food is great!! Try the Tuna Tataki salad - to die for!! And their Fried Calamari is the best in Miami - they serve it with hot peppers. Amazing!! Towns bar is the best in South Miami, hands down. Such a fun, hip atmosphere and the cocktail menu and wine lists are fantastic.
