First time Ive ever been disappointed in Texas Roadhouse. They were busy so we waited quite a while. We arrived about 6 pm. I choose TR a lot for the rolls and the prime rib and i had my heart set on prime rib, as we were celebrating and drove over an hour to go there. When seated we ordered appetizers and wine and the server, who was very obviously inexperienced couldnt tell me anything about the wines. She had to go check which took forever. I finally got to order a bottle and we were finished with appetizers before i finally got it. After that we sat quite a while before she came and informed us they were out of prime rib. By 7:00? We were told this happens often. So Im wondering why, if this is common, the server didnt check immediately on the availability of prime rib before she let us sit there so long. By then its getting late and i had to either decide to order something else which i didnt want to do, or chance going somewhere else. She came back to our table several times, not to offer any solutions, but to "give us more time". By now Im super frustrated. The manager finally came along, called another TR about half hour away and they still had a little prime rib left so we reserved that, and our seating and left. The first one gave me a check for everything for almost $40. I told them i wasnt paying all of that. We had a miserable experience there and i didnt even get to drink any wine. Ended up giving them a 20 dollar bill and cutting my losses. Will not be going back to this particular one. Had a MUCH better experience at the second one.

Let me say I have come here several times over the years and it has gotten worse everytime. My last visit was this past weekend. I ordered the Porterhouse it is supposed to be a 23oz steak...I realize this is uncooked but a tell tale way to know if the meat shrunk significantly on a porterhouse is that the bone remains much thicker than the meat. So I kept my steak and went to the butcher and asked him to tell me what he would say the steak weighed pre cooking...he said 1lb max he then pulled out a porterhouse about the same size as mine but twice as think. Weighed it...and it was 23 Oz...so they are selling me a steak that was about 2/3 of the weight it was supposed to be...along with the fact it was almost inedible due to over salting. The manager asked how everything was and made an adjustment to our bill although new never saw a new itemized bill just a totalled bill...the new total was being split so they brought us 2 checks of 51 and change each...the person splitting the bill with me was charged correctly my bill was somehow charged as 155 and change...so in the course of it out meal was basically double charged with me paying an extra hundred. I did not sign anything approving that so now I have to deal with this place again. Even though I will never eat here again. Save your time and money. Go to Pettys buy a real 23oz steak and throw it on the grill yourself.

I came here with a group of at least 20, and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for a table. It was hot outside, but hotter inside, then the door kept slamming very hard, and made all of us jump. When we finally got our table on the patio, bugs were flying around the rolls. Then after about another half hour we got our drinks, and it was getting dark. Most of us got our food, and it was alright. One of the people who was in our group waited another 15 minutes because his was burned, and they were trying to make another. That one was burned as well sadly. I ordered a steak, and it was pretty fatty. About ten of us were using the flashlight app on our phones so we could actually see our food. By the time we had actually eaten and payed our bill, it was almost 10:00 pm. We had gotten here at about 7:30. Not to mention the food was kinda cold, and the service was kinda spotty. We have about 3 different servers who kept mixing up the drinks. One took the order, one brought the drinks, then one brought the food. Over all, I probably wont go here again. Im happy to see that nobody else had this problem.

In a nutshell, Similar price point to Outback BUT as soon as you walk into Roadhouse, the atmosphere changes, youre no longer in Florida. Started out with their chili, only downside was the cheese (sub par in flavor compared to plastic) took the cheese out and it was good hearty chili. We were well entertained with what seemed an endless supply of sweet and soft bread rolls and cinnamon butter as we waited for our main courses. I ordered a medium rare Porterhouse T.Bone (26.99 fair price since it was 23oz.) Although my Porterhouse T.Bone was a little on the salty side, somehow it seemed to work. Beautifully cooked, each bite was even more savory than the last. Didnt need any A1 or their house sauce (they taste good but the meat was perfect without them!!)Definitely need to come back and try more of their food.

Serving Staff gave better than A+ Experience (from first interaction with the hostess, then the bartender, the food runners, and then excellent all-around service from the waitress). Additionally, I have to give props to the BOH & Grill Cooks!! The Menu Selections where amazing, especially for people of all ages &/or preference. They had a good selection of Premium Draft and Bottled Beer. I went for the Baby-Back Ribs, House Salad w/ Homemade Vinaigrette & a Loaded Sweet Potato for the sides. Then a Tall Blue Moon on Draft with my Meal. This resulted in an excellent overall experience and didnt have a second thought about providing a 30% gratuity. Thus, from working in the Restaurant & Service Industry for 10 yrs in my past. I know excellent service when I see it.

They handled our large group for lunch for a birthday celebration with no problem. I did the call ahead seating, and we were seated promptly! Not one of us complained about anything. They got the orders right - from appetizers, to drinks, to lunch, and a special dessert for the "birthday boy". They kept our drinks refilled without our having to ask. Very attentive! We all enjoyed ourselves. We were seated in the back in a closed section, so it was easy for us to talk together without all the other diners conversations drowning ours. They made our celebration a great one!

The service is much better here then the other major franchised steak house. We were seated quickly and given fresh warm bread with Apple cinnamon butter which was a lot better then most. The steak was cooked perfectly, very juicy and didnt require any sauce to enhance the flavor just as a steak should be. This is one stop well worth it if youre looking for a steak, the beer selection though is most domestic on draft and a few craft in bottle. I much rather get food to go if I want to drink a craft beer and have the steak!

We eat fairly regularly here and they never disappoint. We showed up with 15 people in our party on this busy Friday night and were seated (after calling ahead of course) within 20 minutes in a nice patio location. The service was fast and comprehensive, their rolls were warm and fresh, and the food items were tasty! You can tell a lot about a restaurant by how crowded their parking lot is and their lot was PACKED. We keep going back...they must be doing something right!
