*COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED BADLY/CALLED OFFENSIVE NAMES BY THE CASHIER!* proof in picture of reciept! My fiancè and I brought along my two younger sisters yesterday 04/10/2016 to this place for a late lunch. Around 3:30 PM, the cashier took our orders and we went to wait outside. We waited around 20 mins or so and when we finally got our food, the waitress begins walking back when I realize her receipts have blown away in the wind and she hasnt noticed. I run after them and begin picking them up when I see that one receipt has my sisters name spelled wrong "Uliana" instead of JULIANA, and it says C*** B**** C*** on it! WE WERE LIVID! My sister went to confront the cashier and ask for the owner but she gave us attitude and informed us that the owner was not there. The business card with his name on it had a number that called back the restaurant so it is useless! What kind of restaurant would employ such a nasty cashier? I have been here several times because it is near Robert is here the shake place and the food is ok although overpriced, but I REFUSE to come back and will be sharing this with the local news outlets and on Facebook/Instagram/wherever else we can so they know how awful this place treats their customers. NOT COOL, gator grill!

I went with my girlfriend who wanted to eat Gator (I did not), and I ordered a BLT on toasted rye with mayonnaise. Its basically a fast-food place where you stand at a counter to place your order and wait. The order taker handed me the credit card receipt and said " pick one of these four options, and sign it. The four options were tip (gratuity) percentages of "25%", "20%", "15%", and "another amount". Taken aback that I was being shaken down for a tip at a counter-order, fast-food place before I had even tasted the food, I stupidly went ahead and entered a $3 tip (approx12%), and waited for my food. The sandwich was served with completely dried-out hardened bread that could barely be bitten through (it felt like a 5/8" thick piece of stale melba toast), the mayonnaise application was infinitessimally thin, and the bacon was overcooked to a jerky-like toughness. With effort, I ate about 1/2 of it, but could make it no further. Lessons learned: i) dont eat there again, ii) never be taken in by any such "tip before you taste" schemes again.

Well they wasted my time. We showed up during there open hours on a Wed evening, but there was no one there and their closed sign was up. Not a big deal, so we went elsewhere for a bite, just wasted 20 min going there for nothing. The next morning we thought we would swing by for a bite on our way out of town. We waited around until there opening time at 10:00 AM. When we went to the door the cook opened the door and said he could not serve us; the person that collected the money was not there yet. He said they would be there in 5-10 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting we finally left. Do these people know how to run a business. They wasted an hour of my time and gas getting there. I will never go back and would recommend to others not to waste their time either.

Stopped here after a quick trip to the everglades. It looks like a small shack but the tastiness of the food was an absolute surprise. The rice was moist, soaking in delicious sauce and the meats were great (we tried the gator and some frog legs) Really recommend. Seating is only short of complicated, at the peak of the heat in mosquito/Zika area it is quite scary to just be exposed lile that. There is no indoor seating.

I dont like them. Their services are rude. Although they didnt serve, they forced to pay tip when we bought burgers at the counter. We waited 30min for burgers and 45min fried chicken. Also their menu said the fried chicken would come with coleslaw, but they didnt provide it. When I asked about it, they said "we ran out of coleslaw today". No apologize or no refunds. Burger tasted ok, and chicken was not that good.

Food was great. Prices on menu arent correct. We looked at the menu and had chosen our food only to find a big difference in price. When asked the girl smirks and says it changed. Dont you think you should have said something about it before letting us order. Would not go back

Not as good as expected. Overcooked fries and sweet potatoes if that was what it was. :0/ Half of the alligator in my gator basket was rubbery. And the gator sandwich was boring with a cold bun. :0! Quite pricey and def. not worth the money.

Excellent Fried Chicken. The gator was very tasty. My daughter had chili what you really like. From the outside it looks like a mom-and-pop type restaurant. Simple atmosphere, excellent food, quick-service what more could you ask for

First discovered GG at a rock concert at Harris Park. Been going here ever since! The Gator Tacos are to die for! The slaw they put on the Tacos add so much to the flavor. Before I go here I stop at Robert Is Here for a shake.

Food was great but had tons of fries and a small little bit of alligator meat which was the whole reason for going and for the portion of alligator I got and the $13-15 for each meal its too expensive
