Very disappointed in food. Was hyped up by friends who has already tried it. One meal was the pork loin with Texas caviar and mac-and-cheese; this was a very small serving of what seemed to be re-heated leftovers from the day before. The mac-and-cheese was not creamy and also seemed to be leftovers from the day before. The half-chicken with two sides seemed to be more promising than the first meal. The chicken was tender and seasoned just right (although it too was muke warm to the touch). Mac-and-cheese and a bag of chips were the sides for this meal. The mac-and-cheese was also not creamy and also seemed to be like it was straight out of a can. The bagged chips were just as theyve been before; fresh and bagged. This meal lost all favor though, when a larger than life human hair was removed from the chicken skin. Once this was discovered the desire to eat the food in this meal was lost forever. Politeness will only get you so far in the restaurant business. When it comes to BBQ, this place leaves much to be desired. It has location, it has the menu and good staff. Put on your work gloves, work boots, HAIR NETS and step up your game, people! The drive to Sonnys in Cocoa Beach isnt looking too bad after todays meals.

We were down by Port Canaveral and noticed a sign advertising “smoked fish tacos” so we decided to try Smokehouse Foods. This was our first time and it will without a doubt, be the last time. The man who took our order said the taco was big enough for two and recommended we use a fork rather than hold it in our hands. There was no side dish served with it. The “taco” was more like a huge burrito, wrapped in a giant orange-colored, thin, soft tortilla. The”taco” was filled with rice, some kind of salsa, and everything was drenched in a tomato sauce. It was impossible to taste anything but the tomato sauce. We laid our “taco” on our plate and unwrapped it. If there was any smoked fish inside, it was microscopic. We have lived in the area for almost a year and without a doubt, this was the worst food we have ever eaten. We dine out frequently and nominate this place as the worst restaurant in Brevard County.

We go here for the smoked fish - the tacos, burritos and smoked fish salads are fabulous! We also like the Cape Canaveral caviar, and have found the sides weve ordered to be very good. The decor is simple, clean and utilitarian, and its a small space that gets crowded so if ambiance is what guides your attitude about the food, this isnt your kind of restaurant. The service is great, especially as the place has been doing really heavy business every time weve been there. I recommend Smokehouse to all our friends.

So good! Hard to find places like this! The employees were so friendly and helpful with describing and suggesting items on their menu, we had no idea where to begin, it all looked so good! Any smoked meat imaginable down by the water. We tried the fish dip...amazing. smoked salmon taco which was enormous, smoked ribs & pork sandwich. Even tried the smoked alligator! Great place, highly recommend!

Absolutely the best smoked fish house around by far! They have everything from fish and sausage to hams and other items. Get yourself a smoked Mullet, a cold beer, sit outside and listen to the tourists get angry because Grills has "Dolphin" on the menu !!!!!

Pulled pork sandwich was awesome! My husband got the Italian sausage sandwich, said it had some spice to it and was good. They sell vacuumed sealed smoked foods too! Wish it was closer to home so we could try more food!
