From all the reviews I read before visiting this place, I feel awkward giving only 2 stars, but it is just our true experience. We went for early dinner at 5pm, my parents, my wife, and I. Place was empty; including no one to greet us. The place itself (inside) was clean and looked nice. The shopping center is 2-3 clicks below the inside of this place. We sat down and we saw and heard 1-2 people at the kitchen. One of them came out after we were there for at least 2-3 mins already. When the waitress came, we ordered a soup, water for 3 of us, and a diet coke. Diet coke came and my mother said it tasted funny. When we checked the bottom of the can, it was expired since last month. Soup was not like expected, since its supposed to have a certain spicyness, that it did not have. Then, after 15-20 mins we got our food. I ordered the PadThai, which was OK, not impressive, but good. However, portion-wise, it was a small portion for what they charge ($13.50 just for the chicken one). Most other places Ive ordered a padthai at that price bring enough for 2 people - this was not the case with this one. My father ordered shrimp fried rice, and my mother anothe one of the rice dishes. Both were seriously overcooked to the point they could not eat it - they only ate the shrimp and meats in it and trashed the rest. My wife had a California roll, which was OK, but again a very very small portion for what they charge. There was hardly any attention to our table after food was served, mainly because the same person serving us was the same getting water, bringing food, taking orders, and dealing with the 2-3 customers that came in to pick up take-our orders. There was no one else to help. When we wanted to pay, another girl came out from the back and brought us the check. When she asked the generic question of "was everything allright?" my wife said "not really". This person did not even ask why or what happened. She was like "oh well, I asked but I am not interested to know more". So we left with a sour taste in our mouth (and it was not from sweat & sour food). All in all, either this place had a hiccup just today, or the other reviews are not real.

Asian Fusion Cafe is unlike any Thai-Sushi place youve ever experienced. Dont let its location detour you away from the best dining experience you never had, but truly deserve! The outside may not look like much, but the interior atmosphere is relaxing and has personal touches reflective of the owners warm personality. She and her staff never forgets a face, and has a genuine spirit. The food cannot be replicated at any other restaurant, since its one of a kind authentic taste will leave your mouth savoring for more. I find myself addicted to this place, like no other places exist. And although, the owner is Thai, she can also roll a mean sushi. Their food is very consistent every time. So I recommend venturing into the beaten path to find this diamond, because it is so worth it!!

I discovered this little place after 4 hours of craving sushi. Its really far from where i live but luckily I was in the area. My boyfriend and I ordered to go and although it took a while for the food to be ready we understood it was because we spent more than a while looking at the menu. While we were ordering the staff was very attentive, by the time we left Im sure all of the waiters had checked up on us at least once. The place itself is very small and the location kinda closed off but once you bite into one of their sushi rolls you forget about any little flaw. I ordered 2 rolls think that 8 pieces each would fill me up....I was wrong...one roll did enough. They cut them nice and thick and the sushi bar lets you watch the whole process. Cant wait to go back!

love this place. the most noteworthy thing about this restaurant is the staff. they feel like old friends. they remember your name, your order and your life story lol. thehre very warm and make the restaurant inviting. cute dining room, very quiet and relaxing place to eat. they give good, timely service, but you never feel rushed. its a very relaxed pace. if you sign up for their messaging system, you get lots of updates on new deals and discounts. the food is also really good and not any more expensive than other asian fusion restaurants in miami. stop sleeping on this little restaurant! visit and you wont regret it.

Id highly recommend this restaurant if youre in the mood for Asian food. Its a small restaurant with an intimate feel and a family vibe. The staff is friendly and the waiter had a good personality. I ordered an Atlantic roll, while my wife ordered fried rice with pork, chicken and beef. The roll was as good as any and her plate was very good. The rice was some of the best Ive had at any Asian restaurant. We also got an order of Thai donuts which tasted good. The real star for desert was the peanut sweetened condensed milk which came with the donuts. Unique and very good. :)

Great place. From outside it doesnt look inviting, but dont let it trick you. Its clean and descent. Service is friendly and professional... But the bast thing about this place is food. As a big fan of sushi I have this place as one of my favorite. My partner loves their Panang Curry. Prices are reasonable and after you go few times, you will be given 15% OFF card for regulars. On Friday and Saturday nights you might need to make a reservation. I do recommend it to all asian food fans.

This restaurant has become my favorite restaurant. It is moderately priced for the quality of the food it is worth it. I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 5 years. The staff treat you like family and it is a warm inviting environment. Everything is made fresh and to order and you can taste the difference of this delectable fresh food. This is a great family owned restaurant that really shows the love they have for the food and culture.

Recentley moved to Palmetto Bay and was in tbe mood for some fresh sushi and salad. Did a quick search of google, read reviews and decided to go. Place is small, clean, very fresh and the people are awesome. Family run business, great place for a romantic dinner or quick sushi fix. The tum yum tali seafood soup was one of the best ive ever had, defintly plan on returning. Ask for Steve, great guy who will make sure you will enjoy your experience.

The food was very good. The yellow curry and basil fried rice was great. Choose your level of spicy! I chose 2 and that was perfect...but its very hot to the person who isnt accustomed to spice. David was my waiter and was very personable and knowledgeable ... he had some good recommendations. Its a family run restaurant and very friendly. They aim to please. Please try this fusion of flavors.

We visited this place after being disappointed with other Asian Rests in the area of Cutler Bay, FL. We had the Panang Curry /Green Curry and fired Sushi, authentic ingredients, large portions. The staff was very nice and the food was excellent! We now have a new place to visit every week. Thank you.
