From the moment we entered, the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. The ambiance was refreshing with its elegant decor and plentiful natural lighting. The food was truly delicious. We ordered the cauliflower & onion tart, the veggie omelette, and the coquito torreja. The menu appeals to vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. They pride themselves on being gluten- free, organic, and allergen-free. They have a vast array of gourmet desserts and delectable gelato, that I had the pleasure of sampling before leaving. When we received our check I was surprised to notice that there was no tip line. When I addressed it to our server she told me that they dont receive tips because the staff gets paid more than the usual restaurants pay. I appreciated knowing that the company pays their staff well, and having traveled to Europe, I know they practice this same cultural norm. The location is wonderful because its just outside South Miami and also nearby Kendall. It was truly a memorable and enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend it!

WOW! To start the place is Gluten free, soy free and corn free, NON GMO. Hard to find this anywhere, specially a place where is friendly, clean, has a drive thru and plenty of parking. I do not have a problem with Gluten but I love flavor and a friend told us that this place rocks. The place is beautifully decorated, even the restrooms are nice and clean. expensive? I dont think so when you can get organic carrot or onion soup for $5, 4 empanadas for $9, Organic large salad for $10. We tried the carrot soup, well described. I am not a carrot soup lover but this one is a winner. Trully Velvety!!! The empanadas were great in flavor and not greasy. The Johns Great sandwich I coudnt finish it, but full of UMAMI. I loved the Gelatos dairy free, vegan. Got the Passion fruit and pineapple. Great Flavor. This is my new spot. Well done .Will come back again. Downside: Have to come in early on weekends because it gets full and kitchen takes time.

I pass by this place in the way to work but finally decided to go in. I have no gluten allergies but i eat non GMO and mostly organic. I had the Bagel sandwich and Cafe Late. WOW! Amazing. The cafe late is served with a shortbread cookie called Polvorone. Simply delicious. The coffee was velvety and smooth as the server told me.Now, I think i am addicted to this coffee. The Bagel sandwich was phenomenal, great flavor and tender bagel and for the price , you cant get it any better than that. The menu is simple and affordable as they have items for $5. The empanadas looked great and they come as 4 but maybe next time. They offer me samples of the banana gelato, and it was out of this world. Pure flavor. The place is clean and the restroom spotless. Told them i would come for dinner but they close at 6 pm. bummer! I ask them if they have delivery and they said they are working on it. I will come back.

Excelente atencion,excelente la comida muy agradable el lugar,mis dis hijas son celiacas y es el unico sitio en todo Miami q hemos visitado q cuenta con una seguridad del 100% para persinas con esta condicion,estamos muy agradecidos y lo recomendamos,si no lo han visitado pueden chequear los horarios y pasar para probar cualkier plato,las pizzas y pastas deliciosas y los postres lo maximooo ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is an upscale establishment and well worth it for the food and service. The menu is gluten free and contains no fish, shellfish, peanuts or soy (I think thats what they said). The food and presentation is exquisite, and the baked goods are amazing! Also, I think its really petty and sad that someone would give a 1 star review because it is expensive. They dont allow tipping, so you are saving some money right there.

A Gem out in nowhere! The food and presentation are amazing. And yes the prices are not cheap but you get your moneys worth. And for those who care it is gluten free and allergy friendly. The only bad things to say is that it is too far from me to be able to go there everyday and they run out of some of the food. BTW: I got them to sell me some of the bread they serve and took it home. Amazing.

I recently was discharged from the hospital due to complications with my digestive system. I visited White Star and to my surprise I found heaven. The service and friendlyness was incredible. The enthusiasm from the staff was contagious but the food, out of this world! I am very greatfull that I finally have a place where I can eat without worries. And the decor fantastic. Thank you.

My experience at White Star was exquisite. I was delighted with the quality of the food and service. Sure some say its a bit pricey, but what you dont pay for in quality food today you will pay later with your health to big pharma. I give this place a big thumbs up for their creativity and contribution to the greater Miami culture we all enjoy.

Amazing food, amazing services. Yes, the prices are a bit high but this is not your average restaurant. This is 5 Star dining. The quality of food, level of service and pristine atmosphere make it well worth it. We love love love White Star Cafe!!! And they have delicious vegan options. Give them a try. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Quick review. I travel from far for this place. Since my wife its Celiac and I wanted a place where she feels confident on what she eat. The prices are high if you compare with a normal coffee place but keep in mind that everything is wheat free. The ambient is nice. The personal is nice. This is not s place for a colada.

Food and service is good, as well restaurant decor, however, I found it overpriced for lunch, also, they dont take Amex??? Hello!!! I just paid $19.00 for a sandwich and you are going to tell me sorry, we dont take Amex!! Not right, that should be part of their cost of doing business.

This place is awesome. The pastelitos of Guava and cheese were the best i ever had. I ended up buying all the stock they had, I can tell they were fresh. I dont have a gluten problem but they tasted better than the ones that has Gluten. Will trully recommend this place.

Beautiful local place. However I left after I saw the outrageous prices. There is no way I can pay 20.00 for a sandwich.
