I cannot begin to express how accommodating and understanding the Townhouse family is. I was drawn to the restaurant by many local referrals. I refer to them as a family because it was clear that the staff was close and happy. We had my daughter’s 4th birthday here this past Sunday morning and Brinda and her staff went out of their way to make my large group feel welcome and comfortable in their large new home. In the weeks leading up, Brinda was a very valuable asset to me in the planning of my first larger scale birthday party for 10 people. My guest consisted all of family who came from Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and South Florida. We were able to make my daughters princess party come true with the accommodations that the townhouse provided. The night before, most of us ate there as well for dinner, so my family could get a feel for the place. We had no wait and they did not know we were coming that night. All of my family members commented how wonderful the service was both times and how fulfilling and delicious the food was. We enjoyed trivia game that were provided on the table in the short wait for our food and read off the fun facts on each kids menu. The waiting staff was fun and lively. My glass was never empty, and I never had an issue finding the server if we needed anything. Our server was on top of everything. She brought extra napkins without being asked, she was extra accommodating to the kids with paper to color on and making them feel in charge by recognizing them as people to order their own food. The kids menu is nice too. it has way more to offer than just the 5 things that every other restaurant has. My kids were excited to steer away from normal options of chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, or a cheeseburger. My family members agreed that this was defiantly the type of restaurant that they needed to relax in the hectic weekend of travel. My family was very interested about the Oviedo chicken stories, and the Townhouse staff were eager to share stories about them. Other guest happily chimed in to the conversation. It was clear that the other guest around us enjoyed their visits too. The proportions were large and I think only one of us could finish it all. We were all stuffed. After we ate, both in the evening and during the party, we played with the games in the back outside. I am so glad that I went to the Townhouse for my event and for the night before. I will be a customer for life. thank you all so much for making the weekend possible.

I hate sitting down in restaurants. I also hate writing reviews. So believe me when I say that I was blown away enough to post this one. So like I was saying.... i hate going out... Mostly because we have two preschoolers. My girlfriend still forces me out so we can have a change of scenery and a few weeks ago she picked this place. Weve lived in Oviedo for a while and no matter where we go, we always are told that this is the Oviedo tradition/ place to be. Weve been a few times now. Within minutes from the first visit.... I was hooked. But I tried not to let her know. I have heard early morning and dinner rush can be a wait, so I keep thinking we get lucky. I went in around 11am on a Sunday the first time; no wait. 5pm on a monday; no wait; 6 on a Friday; no wait and lastly 1pm on a thursday; no wait. (times estimated) Crayons on the table, and a huge variety for kids and adults alike. You cant go wrong with a breakfast all day menu either. Food wasnt disappointing. I havent picked a favorite yet, but i havent tried the whole menu yet. The Philly so far is definate got to. I actually like coming to the Townhouse; my girlfriend figured it out when i suggested it the last time. Its always clean there and the people are warm and welcoming. I like that the workers are always happy. I always notice how miserable the workers look with forced smiles at most restaurants... That isnt the case here. On a side note: They have motorcycle parking away from the main parking area so I dont have to worry about my bike if we go without the kids too. Defiantly take the leap if you havent gone yet.

Slow, inattentive, very, very loud interior, cold and badly presented food and expensive. Thats the synopsis: the details? We arrived Sunday morning at 8:55, registered and waited outside with the pager until, at 09: 35 after after noticing several customers thatd arrived after us being called and seated, I enquired as to our status. I was given apologies as wed been marked as processed but skipped over. An inauspicious start. Sat down, we waited nearly ten more minutes before being asked if wed like a drink. Wed already had enough time to review the menu and so ordered a soda, coffee and our meals. Drinks came five minutes later: the food, almost fifteen minutes later. It was really badly, messily plated and -- at best -- luke warm with the eggs Id ordered as over easy cold. Which would explain why when I initially cut into them they spewed uncooked, clear albumen onto the plate. The "home fries" were a mess and also undercooked with hard, cold -- almost raw -- potato slices. Ugh. For eggs benedict, eggs and hash, a side of grits, coffee and a soda, $25 strikes me as high. Even more so, with such awful service and horrible food. The one single redeemig feature was the (mens) toilet facilities were spotless. Well never, however, bother with this joint again: it was, back in the day, a much nicer experience. Theyve jumped the shark with this new effort. Time to move on. Id suggest you try Ke Kes -- far, far better experience!

It all started when I asked my server if I could order an omelette with a side of blueberry pancakes instead of the included hash browns and toast. I do this all of the time at other diners, and I didnt expect it to be a big deal. My server said that would be fine, but she would have to order the food in a "special manner" to avoid double charging me. Fine, I thought to myself. When I received my food, I was surprised to see that my omelette was pathetically tiny (my friends ordered omelettes and they were at least twice the size). The pancakes were decently sized, but I wanted a SIDE of pancakes for my omelette, not the other way around. My bill for two blueberry pancakes and a tiny omelette? 15 dollars. I honestly thought it was a mistake (as did the cashiers), but the manager assured me it was correct. I informed her I wanted the omelette first and foremost, but she did nothing. The cashier did apologize, but 15 dollars later I was still hungry. I dont know where these people buy their pancake batter and eggs from, but Im pretty sure you can afford to take 4 dollars off of my bill. Wont be going back.

Ive been to the new location a few times, and definitely liked breakfast at the old location in the past. However, my trip today was not great. I came in around dinner time because I was craving breakfast for dinner. First, Ill say that the food is overpriced for the quality. Secondly, I was dying for some gravy and biscuits...but the ones I was served were rancid tasting. It was almost like the bacon grease they used was rotten. It was so awful, it actually tasted like vomit. I had to push them aside. Didnt even bother mentioning it to the waitress. Speaking of waitress - she was nice, but how am I seated without a kids menu when I have a 4 year old with me, on a night that I find out AFTER I get my check that kids eat free? Somehow the guy in the booth in front of me with two kids found that out, but I didnt. So, I ended up paying $18+ a good tip for subpar food, when I could have gotten my daughter her own plate for free?! Stop it. I did give the waitress a nice tip because Im nice, but overall, I will not be returning here despite it being right down the road from my house.
