The food was DELICIOUS! I had the Chicken Salmon combo with rice, noodles and vegetables - all amazing. You HAVE to have your food made by "Renato", he knows how to properly and respectfully treat a customer and makes your experience fun and enjoyable. But he only works on Fridays and Saturdays, so make sure those are the days you go. He works at another well known Hibachi restaurant and he brings the same quality to everyone. During my visit he said: I dont cook or act like this to impress this establishment or any other. I cook for me and for what I represent because that is what matters. He made our night 5 stars because if it werent for him I would have wrote a 1 star review. The only reasons I rated it a 4 stars is because #1 the hood vents for the hibachi table we dirty and at the first table we were seated at it had dripped onto the cooktop in several places. Once mentioned to the staff they said it is scheduled to be cleaned "tomorrow" because of a "sticker" that tells them when they need to clean it. They shouldnt rely on a sticker to tell them when to clean something when it is beyond obvious that its dirty... And #2 even though I am not a fan of Miso soup, it looked gross and kept separating. However their ginger dressing they put on the salad is awesome - but its not really a salad just iceburg lettuce. Overall if you go with "Renato" you will have a great experience, and the servers we had did well too.

This place is absolutely terrible! A group of friends and I went here to celebrate our friends birthday because we wanted to try something new. Bad idea. We got in and the people looked at us like we were stupid even though we had a reservation. They tried to tell us that we couldnt get sushi at the hibachi grill; in order to get sushi, you have to sit on the other side of the restaurant. The soup kept separating in our bowl, and was disgusting. The salad was terrible. The "yum yum" sauce- their white sauce was NOT "yum yum". At all. The server was extremely rude. My friend asked if they had white sauce and the server replied with "that comes with your meal. Okay? Okay." In a VERY snarky tone. I basically yelled at the server trying to tell him that I wanted one type of sauce, but he continued to put all three in my dish. I know he heard me. There was no one in here. It is an absolute joke in here. The chef didnt do any tricks nor did he talk to us at all. He was repeating our orders back to us and we all had to correct him. They honk a horn every time they set the grill on fire as if its some crazy trick. Never coming here again. I hope they shut down soon.

We had a groupon for a family of four and noticed pretty much every one else around our table also had a groupon. Its almost like nobody would come in without a discount. Hardly surprising as the meal prices were pretty high for the quality and "ambience" being offered. The miso soup was too salty and the rest of the food was bland and uninspiring. It was prepared with the usual acrobatics and the show was not bad, but you could tell the cook was not in the best spirit and was simply going through the motion. The portion sizes were fine, no complaints there. The sauces were dull and as one other reviewer noted the white sauce tasted more like mayo. I too was surprised at the mandatory 18% service charge as the service was nothing to write home about and most certainly did not reflect the effort/time the server spent on us. I got one refill during the whole meal and waited a long time for it too. There are better places to spend your $100+ on !!! Mr Oishi owner - please do not respond with your standard "sorry to hear that + please come back and give us another try". Read the other reviews and take note. Then maybe we will come back.

As a tourist at Orlando, I dont expect to have a real authentic Janese meal here. I read the previous review and decide to give it a try for dinner. It turned out that I made a wrong decision . Ordered Shushi B, spicy tuna roll. 1. The raw fish just average. Salmon and tuna are below average. I can get better one for cheaper price at NYC or Boston Chinatown. 2. The worst is that the rice for shushi/roll was not fully cooked. What a shame for a Japanese restaurant. I wondered whether their chef has ever tasted the raw fish for freshness and rice for complete cook before they start to serve customer. The hot tea is not the typical Japanese tea. They just throw two tea bags in the pot and ask for 5 bucks. For a real authentic Japanese restaurant, hot tea is always free of charge and is a good company of sushi/sashimi. For 5 bucks, you can a whole box of average tea bags from Asian grocery store, and taste much better than what they serve. Dont go there if you want to have a real sushi/sashimi meal.

I have no idea where people are coming up with the negative reviews. Total misrepresentation of the greatness of this place. Ive been all over the United states and I swear this place is an untouchable first place in quality of sushi. I said it 6 years ago when I first went and today it was no different. I got the Land and Sea roll. Try it.... it shows that not only can they make world class competitive quality sushi but add an excellent twist of superior quality filet. The blend is amazingly well done. I almost wanted to stand up and clap for the chef. PLEASE TRY FOR YOURSELF. It is an injustice to yourself to read these comments and not formulate you own opinion. If you dont like fish or hibachi style cooking, dont go to a fish hibachi restaurant and leave a bad review. Its like me going to a lima bean cook review. They all suck. I hate lima beans haha. Thank you. Try it. Best in the country. Hands down.

Relaxed and charming atmosphere located conveniently near Sea World with flexible hours. My wife and I went looking for a simple hibachi grill and the menus variety lured us in. While theres plenty of classics, they provide a great selection of authentic Japanese dishes and appetizers as well. I tried their Takoyaki out of curiosity and while the texture wasnt for me, it was definitely made well. The hibachi portions are incredibly generous, more than Ive ever seen at any other grill, it was practically enough for two meals at the price of one. If you enjoy garlic, youll love their beef options, otherwise stick with shrimp (theyre huge and perfectly cooked). The staff was friendly and alert through the meal and wanted to make sure we were satisfied the whole way through. For a quick impulse decision on out trip here, Oishi turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
