Very disappointed....I felt the same way like the other reviewer, if I could put no star, I would have done it. We dine in for lunch but was looking at the paper menu. The server didnt inform us that the paper was "only for to go order" The food was alright but when the bill came out, it was hand written and didnt even specify how much each item, how much for soda, how much the subtotal, or even the tax break down. What showing was the total that we supposed to pay which also different if you calculate it from the price shown on the menu. When I ask how come the total is different, the server said oh that paper was to go menu. I was shocked to pay the total because wasnt expected to pay that much for lunch. I paid it anyway. But thats it, I felt that they robbed me. They never inform me that they have different pricing, or at least made me aware of the situation before ordering. I will never go back... If their goal is to robbed who ever walking in then they did a good job. If their goal is to have return customers, then itll never happen from my part. If anyone wants to dine in or order for a take out, make sure you always double check how much each item is.....there are so much bad review in this restaurant, I shouldve read it first before walking in. If I know Im going to pay what I paid, I couldve gone to a better restaurant with a better service...at least I know I will get what I paid for. Be careful everyone....be prepare to get robbed

Do not believe all of these negative reviews. Ive been going here loyally for many, many years now. The owner sue wong is one of the nicest owners youll ever meet. She is very hands on, and shes there almost everyday that the restaurant is opened. Sue wong would never, ever rob, or steal from a customer. Weve also ordered delivery hundreds of times over the years, and never once had a problem. This food is delicious, hot, and very well priced. They deserve 5 stars, some customers are always complaining looking for free food, Sue would have fixed the problem for you, or jason, hes there all of the time too. They deserve good credit for all of their honesty, caring, and dedication to great customer service. This is the best Chinese food in orlando. By far. Again Ive eaten inside, and got delivery hundreds, and hundreds of times, Sue wong has always treated us with top notch satisfaction. Thank you taste of asia. You are the best. From mike. You cant please these habitual complainers sue, so dont even try. Your thousands of loyal customers love your food, and great honest service, so thank you. From mike, loyal customer. The best food is the chicken chow mein, wonton soup, eggrolls, crab rangoon, fried dumplings, house fried rice, chicken finger appetizer, or sweet and sour chicken, L-17 IS THE BEST LUNCH SPECIAL WITH EGGROLL. ALSO THE CHICKEN LO MEIN IS DELICIOUS.

I work at a large resort nearby and our department alone places orders 3-5 time each week at $35-$65 per order. The food is good for take out and delivery pretty quick BUT CUSTOMER BEWARE! Ordered a lunch combo at noon on a Friday and was charged $8.95 instead of $5.95. When asked why, was told by the woman on the phone that is what was ordered and there was no changing it. Ironically, the item that was ordered wasnt even on their dinner menu combination, only the lunch menu. The women became belligerent and yelled "You get more food! I didnt want more food, I wanted the Lunch Special from your menu. Guess what? When it arrived, the size and container were exactly the same as everyone elses lunch combos. One has to wonder how many other times she does this to hard-working people in the area. This is called biting the hand that feeds. While $3.00 may not seem like much, and even $35 may not seem like much either, but the potential of losing $10,000 in business over the course of the year is substantial. And I realize it likely wont put Taste of Asia out of business, I would ask them if it was worth it not to just do the right thing. Its the principle and its called Customer Service.

The concierge at our hotel recommended that we order from A Taste of Asia, telling us that it was the best Chinese food in Orlando. Well, I seriously doubt that, since our order was the worst Chinese food we have ever tasted. It was so bad that we actually ate very little of it, even though we were hungry from a long day at Animal Kingdom. First off, we tried the fried wontons, which were filled with some kind of meat. They were old and stale. Next we tried the General Tso chicken, which didnt have a bad taste, but seemed equal in quality to a TV dinner from the 1970s. The Hunan Beef made us really start to question what was going on with this restaurant. The sauce was obviously some kind of Kraft gravy, and wasnt even remotely flavoured with any spices. It was like old cafeteria meatloaf and gravy. Last up was the Hot and Sour soup. It looked normal, but once again, there was nothing Chinese about the taste. The tofu was way undercooked, and the broth tasted like Liptons chicken noodle soup. I guess if you hate the taste of Chinese food, but want to eat something that looks like it, then this is the place for you. Maybe they should change the name to "Looks a Bit Like Asia".

Rude is an understatement!!! My first time coming here, I was getting very hungry and called ahead for a lunch special. The male voice who took my order never gave me a choice of sides or rice. I barely managed to request that I wanted soup instead of an egg roll... I also asked for a cup of ice water to be ready with my pickup. (As I was running a bit behind to an appointment, I didnt want to be delayed if possible). As I went to pickup my order, a lady took my payment and handed me a bag. No water was ready and of course there was fried rice instead of the white rice I had wanted but didnt get a chance to request. I let the rice slide, but I kindly requested a cup of water. The lady said ok, but immediately began taking the long order of the person behind me... I had enough. I said forget the water and rushed out. The place may be the best decorated fast Chinese food Ive been to, but if their service stays this sub-par, theyve already lost me as a customer. Go if youre hungry, but youll soon notice that the quality ends at the interior design.

This use to be my go to Chinese food. The food is great and my husband ordered weekly. After today Im sad to say I will not use them anymore! I called around noon for my order. After 1:15 I call to ask where my food was. She said were busy and they are on Thier way. Called at 1:30 said they are 2 mins away and sorry. At 1:40 my husband called to ask for refund she hung up on us. I called back told her I wanted to make sure I was refunded and I told her I was not happy about not being told how long and she replied what more she can do then say sorry and blamed it on the driver that he is slow. By that time the diver showed up and I told him not to worry about the food I was refunded due to an hour and a half wait. He was very sorry and said it was nit his fault. I told him I was not upset with him I was just upset I was not told upfront about the wait time and when I brought to Thier attention it was Basicly I had to deal with it.
