They have lost a customer today. Today on my fourth ever trip to this establishment (the first 3 being of the average quality one would expect) I have been compelled to post a comment. I took a chance and did not get bbq here today, dont make the same mistake. My girlfriend did the same and we both ate filled with regret and poor food. My salad and her sandwich were abysmal. My salad was stale lettuce, flavorless "pulled" chicken, and a sad excuse for an avocado. A culinary disaster. Her sandwich, a clearly processed chicken patty was disgusting - covered in a greasy "buffalo" sauce and fried onions. Bleh. Her Mac and cheese? Clearly quickly heated and not stirred (another bad sign) as the gloopy sauce was under the dry noodles for her to stir in: it didnt help much. The whole experience uncovered the shameful level of quality of mass managed, mid level chains these days - glorified fast food covered with sodium and processed sauces, slung out without care. Chains serve a purpose and can be fine when the management cares, but clearly this east colonial location is not one of them. Do yourself a favor - if youre seeking a casual, quality meal seek one of the many locally owned businesses of this style in the area.

I give this place a one star due to management. The bar tender was awesome, very polite and sweet. My parents and I went to a table, and the server was ok, he was short with us and didnt seem like he wanted to be there, however bc Im a server I know what its like and regardless I still tipped him 20 percent. I was not happy with management AT ALL! My parents burger came out burnt and my fries were burn also. I asked to speak with the manager, and I seen the young woman (manager) speaking with the server and refused to come to the table. I was very angry bc it was the most unprofessional thing I seen (like I said I am a server, every place I have worked I always have a manager stop at the table who was dissatisfied) this is just the respectful thing to do. Thankfully the server corrected it and manager never once checked on us. I never complain bc I know how it is working in a restaurant but this was the second time we came to this smokey bones at this location to get burnt food. I wont ever go back!!

Went with my girlfriend to watch a football game. Bartender was short tempered and rude. When asked if we had a appetizer coupon book to use for our order I said no, but can I buy one to use today, she said no! Dude sitting next to us gave me his coupon from his book, Bartender came back and I said look I have a coupon, she said no you cant use that someone gave it to you. If you dont like it you can speak to my manager. Damn!!! Okay well cancel my food order and we will break out. I didnt want to even deal with management at that point so I kept my receipt and tried calling the corporate line 3 FING times, and not one call back. So good news my money will never be spent there. And they should pay me to smoke my bone!!! Just so no one thinks I am biased. I have been a cook, bus boy, waiter and host, dishwasher, prep, saute and fry cook over the years so I think I understand how the business goes. I would rather eat bbq at a hospital. Food might sucks but the service at least would be worthwhile

Smokey Bones lost a customer today not because of food or service (which was great). But rather their military discount policy. I find it absurd that they require military personnel in uniform in order to receive the discount. Personally I dont even care about getting that discount but rather the policy itself is very flawed, that means any one can buy uniform and pose as veterans to receive that benefit (which is illegal). It really disappoints me that either the company or this location didnt think the policy through. ----------------- Update, after contacting the Smokey Bones Corporate their guest relationship manager immediately emailed me back and with bonus gift card, plus he promise the policy will be rectify. I wasnt unable to go the same location but the different restaurant was able to give me discount just off my Military ID.

Like all way food is very good so time I think the sizes are small. NOW THE SERVICE S LAST NIGHT WAS THE WORST I HAVE HAD . The MGR as he said he was was so so I hope in the near future that the servers start listening and taking care of their customer last night was a ridiculous thing I asked manager they should just fire her and get rid of it Ive never had a woman or any man not be on time or at least take care of their customers very inconsiderate it just didnt want to work she was just the laziest person I ever seen the manager as a I think he said he was didnt look like one and sure didnt act like him I believe this place needs have a woman manager and someone will take care of the customer and make her employees work for once

My wife & I love Smokey Bones! Smokey Bones is a BBQ restaurant & bar. The pulled pork dinner followed by freshly made donuts is hard to beat!!! Everything weve tried is good including their hamburgers. We are amazed at how many people do not know about the fresh hot nuts. They serve with a couple of dipping sauces, but they are money plain. Our only complaint is there is not a restaurant closer to our home. This location is about an hour away, so unfortunately we do not get to go as much as wed like. Weve eaten at several different locations & really like the consistency of the food regardless of where we are at. We recommend & well continue to eat here whenever we have the opportunity.

I cant speak for all Smokey Bones locations, however, the Orlando location on Colonial Drive is consistently the WORST and I will never spend another penny with them. First of all, the staff is unfriendly, unaccommodating, and flat out lazy! Oh and dont bother trying to place an order via telephone, they tell you that your order will be ready in 20 minutes, so you arrive at the promised time, only to wait an additional 25 minutes for your order for 2 people. The manager does not care that youve been inconvenienced and basically makes excuses for the staff. This has happened multiple times, so my last visit was the last visit, theyve lost my business for good.

(This should be a "0" star rating) Went to dinner on Sunday night at 6pm. There were 5 tables occupied, so not very busy. It took the waitress 15 minutes to get to us, we gave her drink and food order. 1/2 hour later, we only had water. We approached her to tell her we were leaving due to slow service, and that the dirty tables had not been bussed. A man came out to listen to the complaint, also, and we left. The man and the waitress went their separate ways, neither one went to the tables to clean them up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Placed an order on-line for pick-up. My order was ready on time; however, when I got home I discovered that I was missing one of my premium sides. I immediately called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake and was told, "if you would like to come back, I will make it right". Well, I didnt want to go back - the rest of my food was waiting to be eaten and it had started to rain heavily. I lost $3.00 on a meal that would have been slightly above average if all had been included. This was my first visit and it will be my last.
