I will try to be as objective as possible. Ive been coming here on and off for 3 years. In the past few months I will admit they are slowly improving but I have yet to see any significant progress in the service. I will start by saying I consistently receive less than acceptable service. If I am lucky enough to be greeted by a waitress I will order food and never receive it while still being charged at the end of the night. If I do get that aforementioned food, though, it is always good and Ive never had an issue with an order being incorrect. The drink prices are on the line between cheap and average which is always a positive and are served with a smile if the bartender has deemed you worthy enough of her time. I really cant stress enough how poor the service is, which is terribly unfortunate because the atmosphere, food, drinks, and karaoke are all worthy of a weekly visit. I am hopeful their new staff can pick up the pieces but so far I only have nice things to say about the new bartender. Curly long hair; very sweet, bubbly, and personable. I dont recall her name but if you see her she is your best bet.

I cannot speak for the service or other foods and I am only commenting on their wings, just to make that clear. Im from NY and when Im used to ordering hot wings that are supposed to be hot but that is not what I got. I got wings that were so deep fried that that were almost hard and they had very little taste. The sauce was the equivalent of Franks, but no where close to hot or even mild for that matter. Strangely, the ranch that I got with the wings was the only thing that tasted good. Its ironic that a condiment has more taste than the food itself. If youre looking for good hot wings, Id advise against this place. Their other flavors might be alright but I cannot say; however, if theyre flavoring the same type of chicken, then I hope you like flavored rocks!

My wife and I have just moved here from Kansas City and were interested in trying new places and we found Friendly Confines. We really enojoyed the Chicago theme as my wife was born in that area so it means a lot. We have had a couple of different meals there and really enjoyed them all. The wings are amazing. Watch for their specials, they have great specials when you know when to go. The only suggestion we have is that there was some confusion for my wife and I when we wanted to play poker with the league that comes in. All the advertisement from Friendly Confines we saw say 7 or 7:30, but we found out that it doesnt start until 9. Sign up just happens to start at 7:30.

Ordered the "Chicago dog" which the menu stated was made with a Vienna all-beef hot dog, as it should be. It was, however, made with a terrible tasting, not Vienna beef dog. Also, when I asked for my beef sandwich "wet" the bartender stared at me as if I had two heads. The menu clearly states "ask for it wet" as I have eaten them for 30 years. If you want a sports bar with hot wings this place is fine. If you want the Chicago style food they advertise you need to go somewhere else.

It was good untill i was told by my server i didnt "tip well enough" i gave 25 % on a 5.33$ tab so its only about 1.50$ tip. Still 25 % is 25 % . whoever manages that spot needs to teach there servers you never discuss and NEVER COMPLAIN about less then 20%at least not to the customer. I only ordered a pitcher so idk if she was just mad or what but if i go to sports bar for a beer and tip 20% i shouldnt hear any complaints.

The beers are cold and good selection, which changes up often! Wings aplenty in lots of different varieties! Good selection of food to satisfy everyone! Each day has a money saving special and lots of locals to befriend! Like Cheers...Where everybody knows your name!

This is my go to place for wings. They have a great variety of flavors and they are not breaded. The have daily drink specials. Their Bloody Mary comes with a shot glass of blue moon beer. This place is a must for anyone that lives nearby. They do to go orders also.

Go ahead and ween yourself off the chains! Skip Ale House and Duffys for this locally owned and operated sports joint. The amount of screens is only best by the amount of people. On top of the great food there is plenty of cross-table chatter during games.

Open late and has great food. Such a great option when coming home at midnight. I love having a spot that makes quality wings and keeps the kitchen open late. Their loaded fries are to die for!

I went to the lake mary location and the wings were amazing! One is the best places i have gone to for wings. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was fast.I will be going back again soon.
