Last time I ever try these guys out, I used to go all the time and live nearby so order a lot of take out for my family...last 2 times I called to order the person on the phone said they were too busy to take an order so I say sure Ill go spend my $$$ anywhere then. Theres tons of other places! It happened one afternoon last week around 1 in the afternoon a woman answered I dont know who I just thought if I was the owner Id like to know if business is being turned away. The other occasion was I was told it was slow so the kitchen closed early about a week before that it was maybe 7:30 which I didnt care, I just quit trying, the rude lady on the phone the 2nd time really turned me off.

I always liked the place, but since the place changed management the new bartenders make you wait sometimes 1/2 hr or more to be served. When the place isnt even busy. You gotta wonder why management doesnt hire people who care about customer satisfaction?

We went to Jackies to see Whiskey Courage, great local country band. Jackies is small but it is mighty, they draw in the local crowd and seem down to earth. Good location for local music. 1 pool table. Bar seating, tables, and booths. Typical bar pricing.

Cheap to drunk here and the bar seats are old juror seats from and old painesville courthouse renovation. Crowds kinda sketchy but thats what makes dive bars dive bars right?

Live music on the weekends is great. Beer prices are not too bad. A bit crowded getting around the bar during busier times.
