Want a great local bar with yummy food and a friendly atmosphere? Too bad. Youd better check your happiness and comfort at the door when you walk into big dog saloon. An exclusively local bar, make sure you have an Ohio license or youll be visually strip searched by the security guard upon entry. And dont even bother trying to take leftovers home. Waste is their number one rule at big dog saloon. If you cant finish the food you were so reluctantly served, it goes in the trash. No take home goodies for a midnight snack. Not even a single fry can leave this joint without the manager physically ripping it from your hands and reprimanding you while the bar full of locals looks on and laughs at how dumb you were for thinking you could take food home when the trashcan is clearly starving. If you absutely must give this place a try, make sure you drink heavily so as to more easily deal with their bullshit.

i come from out of county to this hidden gem...yes it gets crowed but thats because it is an exceptional place. the owner Patsy is a sweetheart and is always concerned about your visit and the quality of service and food. have introduced many people to this place. youll see me there every wednesday and on weekends as well....my and my wife little paradise...

Such a hidden gem! This place is amazing. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because on such a beautiful evening, the outside bar was not open which I found to be a real bummer. The bartender working was a male and he was amazing. Made great drinks! Wings were awesome. I will definitely be going back! I loved it!

Was there over the summer and was surprised to see how great this bar was. Everyone was friendly and the inside was huge. This bar belongs in a big city, not Ravenna. Beautiful landscaping and was a great place to just sit, relax and enjoy some drinks and great wings!!!!!!!! Would highly recommend this bar!

Waited over an hour for our orders of wings. My order was wrong. Waitress didnt offer an apology nor offer to fix it. Our group had 5 people .. I had 1 wing from each of their orders. Definitely need to get there early because I couldnt order a second batch of wings as they ran out

Daily specials cant be beat. Weds wing night be ready to spend some time cuz @ 10cent a wing I dont know how they do it. Fridays a 1/2 # burger with curley fry for $3 bucks. Patio is now open great outdoor seating with corn hole boards available.

Great diverse group of folks with great food. Staff was friendly and personable. Pool table, darts, lounge, jukebox. All in all good clean atmosphere. $0.10 wings with a purchase of a beverage came down to $0.60 a wing with the free beer!

Took well over am hour and a half for food on a Saturday night. Clearly not enough help. Once we finally received the food, it was tasty. Mixed drinks were very light. Outdoor patio was exceptional. Mismanaged.

I love this bar!! Such a great place to hang out with friends and the staff is wonderful! Food is always great and cant beat the prices! The outside patio is my favorite place to hang out during the summer months!

Amazing outdoor patio with a pond, water fountain, large dance area and cornhole. Drinks reasonably priced, plenty of TVs to watch games on, leather couch with drink holders, pool table, DJ, or jukebox.
