Having just moved to the area, I was told Publix was the place to go for groceries. Their name brand National food and non-food items were quite over priced, and many National brand selections were not even available. So, I decided to give their meat department a try. Plenty of selection, but youre not going to convince me that the seafood was fresh. But, seeing as how my family was hungry for something other then take-out and fast food, we selected a few items for dinner and headed towards the cashier. She did not look up at us, did not greet us, did not thank us, and did not invite us back. The young man bagging our groceries did not offer us help out, did not thank us, and did not invite us back. So, I have to assume that since we werent thanked or invited to shop there again, they wont be too disappointed when we dont. Oh, and dont bother trying to offer the store or their corporate office feedback. They simply send you the same standard response they e-mail to everyone who expresses a concern. If you are looking for a great place to purchase your fresh meats and seafood, I have found that Whole Foods market offers a great selection, its fresh, competitively priced, and they are very attentive to your needs.

This Publix is a bit dated, and smaller, than the Publix on Universal Blvd just north of 528. Granted this is a smaller store... and it is in the middle of many residential subdivisions... but when shopping here, be prepared for it to be busy. Not that thats necessarily a bad thing; but if youre in a rush, and youre either a resident of Orlando or a tourist with a car, go to the Publix that is just up the street. Publix in general really is a great grocery store chain; much better than others I grew up with in other parts of the country. One big thing I love is the friendliness of the employees... all of them, at every store! It sure does make for a much more pleasant shopping experience.

Has that old florida Publix charm. Feels salty even like it should be walking distance to a beach. This Publix has a killer beer selection which includes a make your own six pack. Service is good. Though some weird tension between the 60 year old cashier and the 60 year old bag lady. Avoid going around rush hour the roadways are strange crossing International drive from the hotels.

Publix is always our favorite store. Although its price is bit high comparatively, but food quality is always the best. The pharmacy staff here is so friendly and suppirtive. Other staff is also very friendly. We love their bakery products specially tres laches, cupcakes. Croissant are awesome here and must try.

I am visiting on vacation and I had to find a few things for dinner. the staff here was top notch. extremely helpful with all the questions I had and very friendly. they may not have had everything I needed but had many suggestions to get the job done. kudos to this staff and their hospitality, well done!

Staff is friendly and helpful per the usual Publix standard, but this plaza is quite old and the store is too. The place could definitely use a renovation as it looks like its straight out of the early 90s. Traffic in this area is kind of terrible around 5PM, highly recommend you avoid at that time.

The publix on Universal is wayyy better. The deli here is always rude and slow. Waited ten minutes to be served when no one was waiting in line. When I finally got waited on and ordered they were out of wraps. The lady who was working was completely rude about it.

I went to this Publix on Central Parkway and it was closed no location to forward me to ATM was removed I didnt even know it was moving I am sorry it is gone convenient on my way to work.

Who doesnt love Publix? This location is like most others...really friendly employees, lots of selection, etc. Definitely ample parking and not too busy of a location, which is a plus!
