WORST STORE EVER. This publix store specifically has some kind of favoritism when it come to hiring. I have applied at this publix 8 TIMES, I have spoken to mangers and supervisors and all they do is take my phone number and my name and say "we will give you a call back, we are currently hiring and need employees". (They never call back).I think the only way they hire at the store is if you knew the mangers personally or knew someone on the inside that could put in a good word for you. I dont think thats fair for everyone else who worked hard and put in a lot of time in these applications. The application process takes about 1-hour. If you are wondering there was something wrong with my application, there wasnt. I put open availablity 24/7, Im a legal resident, I have perfect grades. I dont see a reason why they would hire other people and not me. I have been trying to work there for years since its close to my house. I didnt know thats how things worked here in America.

i usually shop at this store because i live near by but i will never step foot in this store again . i came in yesterday around 5:30 pm to grab my usual and i was at the customer service desk when i heard a lady screaming on the top of her lungs at an employee in her office . i knew it was an employee because i saw the sweet boy come out of there with his head down and everyone looking at him because we all heard this lady scream at him . managers or anyone should never ever treat their employees like that !! I see him working all the time when i go and hes always been so sweet with a smile and working but today was way different . shame on you publix managers for treating an employee like that . im pretty sure a lot of us customers when we all heard her screaming will never come back again . and for the boy who got yelled at im so sorry for you . no one deserves to be treated like that .

Ive been going to Publix my entire life. My family swears by it. This Publix is actually the Publix that moved from Skylake South by the Costco. This is my neighborhood Publix, has been for 20 years, and it is freaking awful. As others have said the deli service is the pits. I have never received such utter snark and rudeness. Ive watched them disregard a line of six people then yell at them when they finally did have someone come. And when customers tried to call them on their behavior politely and pointed out the bad service the employee just yelled over them. Ive walked out five times and drive to Williamsburg Publix now or even go so far as to shop at Walmart and Target. Shopping is not a pleasure in the least in your store. Its hostile. I suggest hiring more deli staff to meet demand, then current staff wouldnt be so harried and angry all the dang time. Thats just sense.

Not my favorite publix but the staff as (as always with publix stores) is friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they hire disabled people. I know businesses arent supposed to deny work because of a disability, but they do. Not here though, I always spot 1 or 2 people with some sort of disability working here and they are actually the most friendly and helpful out of the lot. Keep up the good work publix. I would have given 5 stars but the prices here are about 10 percent more that the publix in Brandon (where I used to live). I guess thats just the cost of living in orlando.

The deli and hot foods/sub section has the absolute worst service I have experienced. Theyre always running out of things, never have anything prepped, are always messing orders up. They work with no sense of urgency and could care less if a line of customers are waiting. I cant tell you how many times Ive been standing in line when theres only one sub maker while 3+ people are doing dishes or cleaning in the back. Ive walked out 3 times alone this year. Its such a shame that I have to resort to driving to the next closest grocery store to avoid the horrendous service.

Love Publix, Have a big selection of fruit drinks in the cooler isle. My husband and I love the NEW Tangerine Lemonade by Tropicana. I can not find it anywhere else,thanks for stocking this product. Sales are always good for a coupon-er. Went here tonight to get some coffee for my 1st time and it was delicious. She recommended I get the Americana coffee since they add more water too it,and I am glad I did!

Everyone, and I mean every single person that works at The DELI, needs to go. Why is that DELI always understaffed at lunch time? Why should it take me over 20 mins to get a sub? Absolute impotence at this specific publix. REVAMP your entire DELI staff, polish their attitudes as well.

I went to go get some of Publixs famous sandwiches and the lady at the counter was very patient and took her time to make sure I was getting what I needed .. I was having people over for lunch and thought I am going to Publix . So thank you for your wonderful service..

Deli manager rude and incompetent and store manager not much better. Waited in line 30 minutes due to lunch crowd and only 1.5 people working. When I am next the deli manager assists someone who just walks up and wouldnt you know I now am expected to wait in chicken.

Good bakery, good deli, and most importantly a good produce section. This Publix feels nicely spread out, flows well, and has tables if you want to buy your lunch and eat it here.
