Have you ever been in a new area with a couple of hours to kill... and wanted to find a good cup of coffee to relax with? Well, I found myself in Orlando this morning in that situation. Of course, I went to Google Maps to find the coffee houses in the area and a large chain appeared first. So.... I get there, its small and crowded. This wouldnt do. I checked my map again and found the Credo. I walked in and instantly knew that I had found my home for the morning! Great atmosphere, wonderful coffee and perfect service - they have wireless internet as well. Additionally, theyre a non-profit so you pay what you feel the coffee is worth. What a great concept. If youre ever in the area, stop in, relax and enjoy the morning - I can think of no better place!

One of my favorite coffee shops in town. The pay-what-you-want scheme may be a little odd at first, but Ive come to really like it. Not because Im a cheap bastard, but because its just simpler (no loose change needed), and I always end up being a little more generous anyway. Its kind of weird, since i balk at paying $3 or $4 for iced coffee elsewhere, but dont mind dropping a $5 at Downtown Credo. Or $1 if thats all I have, but thats rare. The coffee is very tasty, and the space is well laid out. There are plenty of comfortable couches, as well as a lot of workspace for those who are writing the next great American novel.

I had the cortadito (a cortado with sugar as I was informed by the friendly staff) and it was excellent. Get comfortable because you are going to want to stay a while. They have seating arrangements to fit all taste. For the loungers, comfy leather couches and a padded church pew but also modern tables and chairs for those who need to get work done. The free WiFi is an after thought mainly because the speed is average. But you probably didnt come here just for the WiFi.

Imagine if the stereotypical American grandmother decorated your home. Thats basically the aesthetic of this place, yet behind just the looks, youll feel like home. The baristas become friends, other coffeeshop-goers become future collaborators. Credo is way more than just a place you get a great cup of coffee from responsibly grown crops, and its more than a comfy place to get work done; it becomes a cozy safe haven whenever you need it.

Will never go to Credo in Thornton again! I literally stood in front of one person for 5 MINUTES while they and a employee (who looked me in my eyes) had a conversation! It wasnt until I was helped by another employee who realized his co-worker wasnt going to help (who was at counter to take orders btw), took my order! IM HIGHLY DISGUSTED! CREDOS EMPLOYEE HAD POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! VERY TRASHY!!! 3/8/2017

Pretty cool experience. The parking situation is weird but you will just have to park and walk essentially. Payment is on the honor system, you pay what you want and they suggest prices for each item. Everything is technically a donation at that point. They have a few options for coffees and teas, and a few snacks as well. The inside is decorated nicely and there are seats and tables to chat, work, or just enjoy your drink.

This place makes coffee so good youll want to climb over the counter and hug the barista. Be warned, once you have had the Cafe Con Leche from Credo, all of your subsequent coffee experiences will be tainted by the reminder that they will never be as good as the coffee you had from here. :p Wish they stayed open later, because of the distance from my work the only time I can get over there is on the weekend.

Best coffee in Orlando. I will go out of my way to get coffee here rather convenient places like Starbucks and Dunkin. The coffee is incomparable and the environment is accepting. You decide your price of your item based on what you think its worth. I always overpay because I want this place to stay in business!! Sometimes the wait is a little long but the quality of the product makes it worth it

This place is a cool concept and definitely worth supporting. Like any other business in College Park you may have to park somewhere else and walk because their parking is very limited. My only complaint is that I wish they brewed their coffee a bit stronger but thats just my personal preference. Cool place to work or study and sip some tasty coffee.

A non profit coffee house that does so much right in its business models and services. Truly a gem in a big city! The craft and quality put into the drinks, the venue, the reach into the community are the points worth noting. My only drawback is limited parking, but I dare you to find someplace like Credos that isnt worth fighting for the parking.

Downtown Credo is one of the best coffee shops in central Florida, hands down. The baristas are always great and helpful. The atmosphere is perfect for studying, chilling, or working. They have a great philosophy of being involved in the community and locally sourcing their coffee and desserts. This is a must stop in.

Great coffee. Hip atmosphere/vibe. Friendly staff. There isnt a set price for anything, you give what you want. They do have some suggestions if you dont have a clue (like me) on how much to pay. They also have a small room in the back of the store where you can reserve for parties. We had a bridal shower there.

Great coffee, bartistas, food, music and vibes. What more could you ask for? Ive been going here for the past four years, seeing it evolve and grow over the years. I love this coffee bar/cafe. My favorite drink of all is the cortadito. Its strong but sweet, smooth and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it.

Very cool atmosphere and concept. My only two complaints are that the WiFi was slow and the service was very loud -- lots of banging of the portafilter against the counter to toss grinds, which resulted in jolting every few minutes. If you like coffee shops, though, this one is definitely worth checking out.

My favorite local coffee shop. Small town feel where the workers engage well with patrons. Cold brew is fantastic! It has 2 locations, one that feels like your granmothers house, and smells weird like it too. And one thats in Florida Hospital that is about as modern looking as they come.

the daily selection of coffee is great as I dont need 43 flavors to choose from...I tend to order "the usual" and this is a great place to hang versus chain stores. I also "pay" a bit more than at a chain because it is local and for the betterment of the community at large. Give it a try!

Downtown Credo is a family. Its very welcoming and theyve really created a perfect place to study and work. I spend 3-4 days a week here working on various projects. Its also a non profit that pays their growers well above the standard rate. Support a local business and grab a coffee.

Went to Credo for the first time today after hearing MANY good things about it and I will absolutely be back. Great coffee and great staff. You feel welcome and comfortable the second you walk through the door. NOTHING but good things to say about this place and their staff.
