A pretty cool place with plenty of vegan options (though some things marked as "can be made vegan" are apparently "too hard" and they wont do it for you). The employee that took our order seemed pretty mad to even be talking to us, and even though we tipped more than 20% she just made snark faces at us. We dont expect service with a smile or friendly chat, but rather to just not be put off by abrasive, abrupt employees. Everything we got here was good. The Nachos (veganized) were the best weve ever had (ever). Pretty nice full bar but they "dont do wells drinks" even though I saw plenty of wells alcohols, I suppose I was just charged premium or call price for for some reason. No big deal, and the drinks were pretty good and strong enough to suite the price. Everything was going pretty well right up until their intolerably horrible and racist comedy open-mic, which prompted us to get a box and leave after only a few of a couple-minute performers managed to make a worse show than Carlos Mencia. The food was quite good, the bartender was nice enough, and the person that brought food out and cleared tables was super, but the overall experience was... not so great. Might be back, but would definitely avoid it like the plague if you see anyone on stage.

Ok, Im giving this 5 stars just for the atmosphere. I love, love, love Stardust as a whole. Unfortunately, the service sucks. I mean, its great if you know the server and its totally dead, but Ive seen people walk out because of the lines, the lack of attention, the length of time it took to get the food, the inconsistent availability of menu items, etc. The food is, 75% of the time, wonderful, but dont expect it to taste like it did the last time. Just...dont. The different chefs all have different styles. The prices are more reasonable than some might think, for what you get. They pay a lot more attention to their vendors, sources, etc., which most of the customers dont realize. It comes across as a little pricey, but thats what happens when you source responsibly, get high quality items and do things the right way. All of that being said, I still stand by my statement that I love Stardust. Its warm and welcoming, they do a tremendous job supporting local talent of all kinds and truly bring together a huge community of wonderful, creative individuals.

This is the best coffee you will drink. They have the best food prepared fresh. I love to form her to get their iced green tea. The staff are truly incredible, young sweet old souls. Who are full of creativity. I have never met a stranger here and its quality service. I enjoy holding business meetings here and trying the large varieties of brews. Sometimes on Wednesdays you can catch the open mic the group is called, "Writers of Central Florida and Thereabouts." Very entertaining and the atmosphere is flooded by professors and highly educated individuals bleeding on the mic. This establishment is an asset to Central Florida. Angie the bartender is an inspirational speaker who is an even better bartender. She makes the freshest squeezed grapefruit and grey goose vodka mixes. Not to mention her podcast "vagina chronicles" is a definite must listen to. Hope you enjoy this establishment as much as I have. My children and I enjoy this place.

I have never had the food outside of chips and salsa so i cant really comment much, except you dont get nearly enough salsa for your chips. Expect to pay on average about $1-2 more for craft beer than elsewere around town. The vibe on the inside is great, so you may be willing to spend the extra money for the beer. I however will never step foot in here again because of the service. They have the slowest and most unresponsive bartenders I have seen in Orlando. I have waited in line upwards of almost 10 mins, time and time again at the front counter, with only maybe 5 people ahead of me, and this is just for people getting primarily beer. It takes way to long to get served. The staff has no idea that they can go to the next person in line while the person in front figures out what they want. There are insanely busy bars in orlando where I get served quicker when there are 5 times as many people waiting. No excuse for that.

The food is pretty good. The only thing that is unappetizing here is the crowd. Even the staff predominantly seems to suffer collectively from Asperger’s syndrome, though I am still unclear as to whether it is that way ironically. The patrons are made up of a breed known as hipsters which is a mutated result of resentful tortured nerds and homely women (not really a place to pick up chicks unless you are looking for a far less educated, un-empowered and less hot Gertrude Stein) from what I have read in textbooks. The decor is eclectic with its junkyard charm. I think its trying to be like the set of Godspell or something like that. I mean the place isnt "cool" by any means and definitely seems to be a cliquey bastion for dorks, but it is in walking distance from my house. In short, I like the food, the location and the free Wi-Fi. Its pretty much a Starbucks with a bit too much hubris and a funky smell at times.

Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee from the counter service (10/15)... support local businesses instead of international chains right? The woman at the counter was serving one customer and having a conversation with her when I walked in. I wasnt in much of a hurry, but after exactly 6 minutes of standing there and another 2 people lining up behind me, the woman at the counter and the customer were still carrying on with their conversation; the employee sipping from her drink completely oblivious to the line that was forming. After those 6 minutes the employee decided it was time to get to work, and stumbled on over to the cappuccino machine. I quickly decided this local eclectic coffee shop hadnt done anything to earn a penny out of my pocket, so I left. Keep up the super pretentious hipster vibe, your would-be customers are going to take their money somewhere else.

A very low-key, eccentric, classic yet down-tempo kind of atmosphere. Lots of seating and tables inside and enough outside. Its a contrast to a regular coffee or tea house and especially away from the Starbucks and franchises. I enjoy the fact thats geared for studious to even chilled individuals. Also, its open till late hours, has a neat little bar area, plenty of teas to choose from, hot beverages, cafe dishes, background music, and the appreciations of art works, local artist, classic literature, crafting, and other interests that are depicted around the location. My only request would be for reconsidering food options to be a more wider in variety, a bit more conscious preparation, service and of course something about electrical plug outlets; maybe cords and splitters for so many laptops and mobile devices nowadays .

If there were such thing as the hipster city hall in Orlando, this would probably be it. Whether you consider that a good or a bad thing is up to you...I personally love the atmosphere at Stardust, with its spacious set-up and book- and video-filled shelves mixed between the (I assume local) art. Stardust is a nice place to work or chat through the day, with decent WiFi and lots of corners where you can hide in plain view if you choose, and its got a full bar, which makes it a great place to be after work too. Nerd Nite is held here every month, as are other events. Unless youre vegetarian/vegan, I highly recommend the nachos (an epic-sized plate, so be warned) or the Rob Reiner sandwich. Well worth a visit. I always enjoy the chance to go.
