The Marion Cafe offers exactly what downtown has been missing: a delicious, quick meal that is reasonably priced. Dont get me wrong. Currently downtown boasts some of the best food in Ocala. The problem is that everything involves taking a lot of time and having a server. This place is perfect for all the downtown workers that want something fresh, healthy, quick, and reasonably priced. The food is fresh and made of high quality ingredients. Apparently the vegetables are locally sourced and the meat is Boars Head. I ordered the tuna sandwich and was very happy with my choice. The prices were also fair. A sandwich costs $7.50. I know one can find cheaper food elsewhere, but I dont know if you can find a better deal for this quality of food, and the great location. The look and feel of this cafe is also top quality. There is one caveat. The cafe is difficult to find. The cafe isnt visible from the road. You have to go inside the building (entrance by the coffee shop), up a couple of stair, and look left. There are some signs to guide you, but it is a bit of an odd location (maybe this is how they keep their prices low?). Persevere and check this place out!

I work downtown and eat lunch here at least once a week. They offer free delivery downtown or I go in if I need to get out of the office and enjoy their atmosphere. The have a weekly special and I love their food so much that I dont even ask them what the special is. I just order it and am always happy. Great service as well.

The Marion Cafe has the best sandwich in town, and maybe even the best sandwich ever. I highly recommend The Young Turk sandwich and their mac and cheese! Even better, they use all locally sourced food to make their sandwiches! They also offer catering for events. Great addition to downtown Ocala!

ONE THING MISSING. This sandwich place is almost perfect. I feel the sandwiches lack some meat. Id rather pay 7.99 (.49 more) for an additional slice or 2 of meat :) OR I may have just gotten unlucky with my young turk sandwich.
