Disappointing!! Food ok, Service poor, Poor Value... My parents and I came here with high hopes but we were let down. The menu did not provide a good selection and the portions were ridiculously small......... especially given the price. The chicken I ordered arrived as a leg on a barren plate that looked like it was pulled from a Publix dumpster. I was shocked and dismayed. My mothers meat was fatty and full of gristle. Dads filet mignon was tasty but was only slightly larger than a silver dollar and didnt include a salad.. Owners, please....At $30 for a 6 ounce steak..you should at least include a salad! Our second round of bread was served late and cold. The service was below average. On a positive note, the wine and dessert (creme brulee) was excellent. I think the owners should heed the advice of the many other reviewers who have complained about the portions being too small. Owners, your restaurant could be a true gem someday ...your sauces taste great ....but.. you cant make it on tasty sauce, wine and desserts..... Americans like to eat.. As a rule, we like to feel FULL when we are finished eating dinner! Overall value for the dollar is key to long term success in the restaurant business... (especially in this difficult economy.) I would like to have recommended this restaurant as there were some bright spots, but we feel we could have gotten more for our money elsewhere... We should not have left still feeling hungry. Owners, until you offer a better value, we wont be returning to La Cuisine

My wonderful fiance and I ate here this Saturday . I cant stress enough how amazing the food was. The service was by far the best I have ever experienced. From the moment you are greet at the door the whole staff is attentive to your needs. A+++++. The only thing that stops me from giving this experience a perfect review is the Manger stopped at each table around us twice to see how they were enjoying there food or service and proceeded to look at our table but never once checked on us. I found that to be odd and insulting. Yet once again let me stress how amazing the rest of the staff treated us and how absolutely wonderful the food was!

La Cuisine in Ocala, FL Reasonably priced and somewhat interesting wine list. Friendly service. Restaurant interior seems to be recently renovated with a French countryside flair. Rolls served taste and appear to be “store bought” and ordinary. Salad, very good with fresh salad greens and an excellent sesame/ginger dressing. French soup was unremarkable. Baguette slice in soup substituted with sliced white bread. Bland onion flavor.. Pork shank dinner and beef short ribs were cooked to perfection, meat falling off the bones and seasoned drippings adding to a very good entrée.

Myself, my husband and another couple enjoyed dinner at LaCuisine last night (2/27/16). It was absolutely wonderful - the best food we have had in Ocala/The Villages. The entire waitstaff was knowledgeable, professional, accommodating and friendly. The food - from appetizers through desserts - was excellent. With a number of cocktails each and some espressos and cappuccinos to end the evening, the total check was just about $400 (and that included a generous tip). I cannot recommend La Cuisine more highly. We look forward to trying brunch on a return visit.

March 31, 2013..Excellent and delicious!!! Being from Cape Cod, MA we were looking for a nice place to take Mom for Easter that wasnt a chain and took reservations...we were not disappointed.. the food was excellent..fish..filet mignon..lamb. .crab cakes and the fall-off-the-bone braised pork were all excellent...dont pass up dessert. .even if you share! Dont know why one reviewer said portions were small...even the crepe was huge to say the least. Prices were not out-of-line for the meal and service we enjoyed.

Just enjoyed a delicious dinner at La Cuisine. The service was fantastic, and the food was great. The wine selection is reasonable, with many selections by the glass as well. The bread was perfectly fresh, coming to our table directly from the oven. And the selection of main plates and vegetables is just what youd respect from a good French restaurant.

Our favorite restaurant in Ocala. The food, wine and desserts are all fabulous. Even the simple la cuisine burger is worth a trip alone. The staff are friendly and so attentive and helpful. Beautiful interior with a lot of class - beautiful red walls with dark wood trim and accents. Great for both fine and more casual dining.

We were unable to eat at our selected restaurant and stumbled onto this gem of a French Restaurant. The fois gras was outstanding. The best dish on the menu was the lyonnaise potatoes. The chef/owner/bartender waited on us and was a pleasure. Will be back.

Patrice was awesome! He let us into the restaurant 45 minutes early in the middle of a rainstorm. We snacked on the baked Brie and truffle fries which were both amazing. The best restaurant in Ocala, hands down.
