I went there last night before heading out to the ocean with my sisters. We pulled up and ordered, while waiting in our car we all decided wed rather go inside to eat because it was a little too hot. As my sisters walking inside, I went to go tell the outside waitress we were going to head inside. She oddly told me that it was alright and I asked if shed bring the food inside to us, and she told me just to wait outside to bring it in myself, because it was almost done anyway..all this said when she was texting on her phone. So maybe 10 minutes later they handed me the food, the waitress then told me to get my receipt and pay her when we walked back to the car, then I brought it all inside to my sisters myself. As I brought it in I was right then told rudely that I cannot bring that food inside, so I explained that I bought this here outside and wanting to eat inside, the waitress then just turned her back and walked away. We all sat together and ate the food, which was pretty good! We all got a double cheeseburger and fries. After we finished we looked at the menu and all picked a small desert pie to order! We sat there for at least 20 minutes while waitress after waitress just walked past us. I walked up to one of the waitress then and asked if we could order dessert, she didnt say anything but walked back into the kitchen and didnt come back out. So after waiting another 15 or so minutes we just decided to leave. As we were about to walk out the door, being told we had to pay the waitress outside, the inside waitress shouted from way in the kitchen that we were trying to leave without paying! We were all completely humiliated as everyone in the place looked at us! the cook then a few seconds later inside screamed back that we were fine to go outside and pay the waitress out there. The inside waitress just looked at us (didnt say sorry) but then again just walked away. We paid the waitress outside and did not leave a tip. As she was taking our money and getting us change she was still texting on her phone. VERY BAD SERVICE, food is good but service ruins the whole place. Will never go back.

When I saw this little dinner I had high expectations... I mean dinners are kinda rare now. However, this place just let me down on really simple dishes. For a place so close to the water to only have a handful of seafood options was rather suprising but what they do have wasnt terrible. Its the basics they really screw up. Spegettii is always overcooked using a sauce straight from a tin can and lacking flavor. Chicken parm? Well... actually just spegettii with a deep fried chunk of chicken breast. Fries are premade and frozen, and they still manage to screw them up from time to time. The waiting staff is hit or miss, younger staff lacks a bit of professionalism often being on their phones and the more experienced staff generally doesnt care if your there or not so dont expect to get a refill on your drink anytime soon. That all being said it is a small town diner with small town feel, which it accomplishes. But thats about it...

This place is actually a 3/5 but I felt like I need to offset the pathetic spam that Scott Johnson of Ruthys Kozy Krackhouse posted to get some free advertising. It must be pretty bad when this is what you have to resort to, Scott. I bet the 12 reviews currently on your page are all employees spamming the reviews. If this is how petty you are IN PUBLIC just imagine what theyll do to your food if you send it back or have a complaint.

I go here often for breakfast lunch and dinner. The food is good diner style cooking and portions are generous. My biggest disappoint is; although advertised as curbside service, it is hit or miss as to whether anyone is available to provide drive up service. More often than not, you have to go inside to place an order then wait. Thats what I would more accurately describe as take-out.

Ordered two Gyros to go ,The pita bread was soggy like it had been defrosted in a microwave. There was nothing in it but a bit of mushy tomato, small pieces of onion and two thin slivers of dried up, tasteless,,, meat..??? IT WAS BAD. Cost $5.99 apiece, ridiculous, never again! These people need to go to europe or even New York and learn how a Gyro is supposed to be.

We had went to the New Smyrna Dunes and could not get in, so we were looking for a place to eat. My wife found this place on google and we decided to give it a try. WOW, what a nice surprise! Home style cooking with large portions with a Old time setting. Great service, Great food! We will stop in here again when we are in the area!

Ive lived in New Smyrna on and off for the last 7 years, I really enjoy pappas breakfasts, the only thing I really dont like is there biscuits and spaghetti sause. They serve really delicious country style meals. My 2 favorite meals is the country fried steak and the burgers! I would definitely take my friends there!

Food was awesome, but check was wrong wondering if the server overcharged us to pocket that extra cash. Cause it was pretty obvious our bill didnt come to know 54 dollars, u could tell by looking at it that it was only 36 dollars, when I added it up on the calculator it was 36 dollars,

Good traditional drive in service and ample seating but crowded often. A true reflection of its quality food and good service inside and out. Building requires updating of restrooms. Only available restrooms are outside. Try the half order of biscuits and gravy! Great value.

One of my favorite spots to stop into when I go on vacation in NSB!!! Everyone is friendly coffee is always warm and topped off and the give you such big portion sizes for the money....this is one of these places that should be on Diners, Drive-in and Dives!!! Love Pappas!!

They have a real drive up park your car under the awning and get served right there. I wish they had the old time tray that hung on the window but Im just happy with that. The food is okay. Surprisingly cheap hamburgers and a crazy wide variety of food.

I live in CT but used to live locally. This place was great ten years ago and still is today. I have eaten here over a dozen times and it is always excellent. Very fast and friendly service, even when they are busy. And best of all, reasonable prices.

Been coming here for as long as i can remember the food is always perfect and the staff make u feel like family. Curb side and dine in are both wonderful. And the best part besides there milkshakes is the are very affordable. We love Pappas

The five stars are based on rating an apple as an apple. This is a diner that has been around for a long time. Its inexpensive food at a fair price. You get what you pay for. And you get as good as any at this level here.

They have a very unique milk shakes. They use vanilla soft serve then flavor them to chocolate or strawberry. I like their chocolate shakes. Burgers are great too, wide dinner selection, but Im not a fan of their fries.
