Food is hit or miss but the service is just aweful!! Tried lunch, food was good, took 10 min for someone to notice i was there then waitress took order, brought food, dropped off check never checked on me or asked if i needed something not even to refill my drink. Then gave them another try for dinner. Waitress took order wrong, brought all 3 courses at the same time, only 1 thing out of all the food was hot, I only was acknowledged by her when she took my order and brought my food. She was running around helping others then disappeared, no refil on drink, no dessert, didnt even bring me a check I had to wait at counter for someone to notice me then they had to go hunt down the waitress to get the check told her I was having bad experience so she got manager. Told him about bad experience and tossed him $20 for my $18 bill, he tried to give it back but i walked out. Im not one to complain for free food I complain so the next person might have a better experience. And i understand that things can go bad in a busy place, however, for lunch there was maybe 3 tables with people, and dinner there was maybe 12 people including me in the restaurant.

Worst experience my family and I have ever had! We waiting to be seated (or should I say to be recognized) for a good 15 mins! When we over heard the couple in line ahead of us had been waiting for 25 mins, my husband stepped up and asked the host for a table for them (considering there were plenty unoccupied clean tables). When we finally were seated it took our waitress 4 times to comprehend our drink order. Our food was cold, nasty, and my kids barely touch a bite of their food. We waited forever for coffee that our waitress gave to another table. (Were still waiting). Even though the food was not edible, we still paid our full bill. As we were walking out our waitress over heard us talking to the manager about her lack of customer service and the fact she was completely blown out of her mind! She continued to apologize for her lack of service and when I explained to her that being busy wasnt an excuse ( because they werent) she continued to argue with me and really expected a tip! (The only tip we left was to stay off the drugs) 1 plus side he manager did hand all 5 of our kids a cookie on the way out and she did apologize...

Let me start by saying me and my eight other family members walked in today at ten am to a wonderful greeting. Not very much of a wait either for a party of our size. Didnt really pay attention to how long it took for our server to greet us because we were enjoying one another. So our sever arrives doesnt say hello go straight to and I quote ( Im going to get your drinks so we can get this over with ) Me myself as a server it bothered a little bit but the rest of my family didnt pay attention so I just ordered my drink. Fine so once our sever returns with our drinks never once asking if we were ready started taking orders at the other end of our table. After the forth order my sister in from out of town still wasnt ready so our sever walks away. Fine we were in no rush. So on his return he walks up and I quote says ( are yall ready or not Im busy ) I said really??? He walked off so I told my family lets go.. The manger came up and tried to give us another server but by that time my whole family was livid.. I asked his name they said Paul and took my family to Bob Evans in South Charleston where it was very pleasant..

When traveling home from Indiana to North Carolina we decided to stop and eat here. It took a few minutes before my mother and I were seated. Staff was less than cordial. Our server wasnt very nice at first. Then we ordered our food, and while we were waiting I checked the google reviews and read them aloud to my mom. While contemplating whether to leave or not, the staff noticed what I was doing, and suddenly the customer service shot through the roof. We were checked on every two minutes, the manager even stopped by to check on us, and made sure we were taken care of. However my mother noticed the hostess coughed harshly into both of her hands, and then proceeded to grab two menus and seat an elderly couple handing them the menus. Now the food was edible, but not good, potatoes were cold, but dessert was excellent. If youre starving stop by, if not theres a Taco Bell next door.

This is the worst Bob Evans in the area. We stood waiting to be seated for 10 minutes while the staff were in the kitchen trying to figure out what to do with the food sitting under the warmer. Another couple said they were leaving after waiting 45 minutes and never receiving their food. Cook in some type of tank top and very sloppy. I saw a manager walk out the door. We finally left before being seated. Another time we tried this location, server was sitting under the counter looking at his cell phone. We have tried on several occasions to give this location a chance since it is close to our home but no more. We will travel to Teays Valley location from now on. This location needs shut down until they can get their staff motivated and straightened up.

extremely slow horrible service waitress takes forever dosent check on you brought out what was supposed to be a grilled cheese seemed literally like it was dipped in a vat of grease got the sandwich soup combo was supposed to have endless bread which never came than when we asked to have the grilled cheese took of was told we would need to wait for a manager which never came and we had to go too the front counter and ask for manager the only good outcome was that they didnt charge us in the end but we still ended up waiting for an hour for what should have been a quick meal soup and sandwich dont waste your time or money here

The waitress took our order but she came back 3 times to confirm it. 3 course meal salad, soup and dinner all served at the same time. Im surprised they didnt bring out the desert so it could melt while I was eating. The Black Angus Steak had burnt black mushrooms to the point of being non edible. Chicken noodle soup was bland and I mean tasteless. My wife ordered a hamburger and got a bacon cheeseburger? ? Then for the encode the waitress served a pitted of water on the laptop of the poor customer next to our table. This was the worst dinner I ever had at a Bob Evans restaurant in my entire life and it was my last.

I ordered their famous sausage gravy and biscuits and the biscuits were hard and the home fries were scorched. The server apologized telling me it would be twenty minutes to get some fresh ones. She then proceeded to bring me two supposed "fresher" ones that she "found". I could tell they were the same ones that I had sent back because I had broken one of them open. By the time we left, those fresher biscuits were virtually river rock consistency! Ill not easy at this location again!!
