My mother and I just visited this Checkers around 12:30 at night. I understand that no one wishes to work at this hour, but the way we were served was just plain disrespectful. I also understand it is a fast paced restaurant, but this was just horrid. The server slammed the window on my mother as she asked for napkins, the worker hurried around like a mad man. They were unprepared and I suppose this is why the workers were scattering like ants. This spiked my curiosity. There were barely any cars. My mother told me how they had once served her poorly before and so I decided to speak to the manager just after the incident at 12:30 at night. I figured that the employees were the problem, but much to my surprise-it was the manager! He was rude and obviously did not care as to what I had to say. He explained how he wanted things to go fast, and now I understand that this man puts unnecessary pressure. The manager acted as though it was my fault for even being disturbed by the matter and brought up the fact that he "wishes for his workers to act fast paced." By fast paced do you mean inadequate and with a sour seeming attitude because their boss is pushing them too far? This experience was a big disappointment and unnecessarily stressful. Im sure this has happened to many other customers besides my mother and I, and Im sure they have lost those customers business as well as they have for my mother, myself, and all that we know. Please, do yourself a favor and save yourself some time before coming to this poorly run Checkers. I have been raised to learn that all work is honorable, but when one chooses to make their job harder than it is, it will become a bad job and will only spread negativity to those around them.

Spineless Raisin

Had just gotten off work decided I wanted something different from the usual stuff I eat elsewhere so I got myself a Bacon Roadhouse and Fully Loaded Fries. Normally I have no problems with checkers but this was upsetting.. My bacon Roadhouse had what I would say to be two drops of bbq sauce and one piece of bacon. I couldnt help but doctor it up when I got home because it was hardly satisfying. Now my fries werent as bad other than the fact it looked like they just threw everything on top of fries in a messy manner. Fries tasted good but had this stale taste to them. Straighten up SR 54 location. Will be awhile before I bother coming back.

So tired of hoping that this location will improve. Too many times I get soggy fries, slapped together food, or missing something that I ordered. The employees are always polite and kind, but that doesnt make up for the food. Manager apologized, but that didnt make my fries appear!!!

Litterally ordered a 2 for 3 [2 spicy chickens with no mayonnaise] and a Dbl Checker burger. I got 1 spicy chicken with mayo, overcooked, and 1 Dbl checker burger. Not the first time this has happened, sad part it wasnt even busy, I was the only one in line besides one walk up.

Absolutely rude. The two ladies who work at night during the week are rude, make faces at you and dont say anything like "Have a good night, enjoy, etc." They are very disrespectful and took forever to take the order.

Rude lady working talking politics...wrong thing to do. Then to threaten to spit in customers food when she doesnt like the answer. mgr. is no better telling the customer not welcome there WOW!!

I do like checkers, but they always mess my order. Always have to ask for my missing food, the coke taste like water, more than 15 minutes waiting for the food. But still I like the food.

This is the best Checkers in the area. Ive never gotten an incorrect order. Everyone is always courteous and kind. The food is always fresh and hot.
