I suppose this review would be in line with the other "late night" reviews. We showed about 9:30pm and were sat immediately by the water. Very nice views. With only 3 other tables sat in the restaurant, we thought service would be decent. We ordered drinks, the hot crab dip and conch fritters. Drinks were quick, but we were informed then that they were out of conch fritters. The dip took about 15min. With burnt chips and wildly mediocre dip- not worth $13. My lady ordered peel and eat shrimp (cold), coleslaw and garlic green beans. Shrimp were small and rubbery, coleslaw was so generic and flavorless I almost forgot we ordered it, and apparently they packed up the salt and pepper in the kitchen for the night because the green beans were completely unseasoned, and only blanched (poorly), with no sautee whatsoever. I had the blackened hogfish stuffed with blue crab and ordered the same sides. The hogfish was very dry; overcooked to the point that I mistook the edges of the filet for bone several times. Oh, and had alot of real bone too. Blackened seasoning was near flavorless because, again, no salt or pepper. Blue crab stuffing was good tho! Unfortunately it was the same story with my green beans and slaw. Come on guys. Ive seen people fired in kitchens for not seasoning their food. And all of this for over $70? That part was fun. Gave the server a $100 bill for the check, and I wasnt sure if he was ever coming back. Maybe he thought that was his tip without asking me. We seriously sat there for another 10 min before he came back with the (wrong) change. We watched him wander the restaurant, chat and laugh with the other servers, and pretty sure he stepped out for a cigarette at one point. Then brought us 3 extra dollars with our change. Wow. Just. Wow.

We were visiting Naples and saw a few ads and suggestions for Pinchers. We love aerator and decided to try. We had the shrimp pasta (suggested by waiter) and the crab cakes. The shrimp pasta was OK, at best. The taste of cheap quality ingredients was prevalent, and the pasta itself was bland. A little salt in the water would have helped tremendously. The crab cakes were a little better. They are had a good amount of crab, which included lump and specialty crab meat. The atmosphere was of an overcrowded restaurant. We sat inside and all the tables were filled. It felt like there were too many tables, which lead to a cramped and uncomfortable feeling. Maybe it would have been better out on the deck. The service also felt rushed and borderline rude, at times. My usual 20% gratuity was dropped to below 15%. If, when, in Naples again, I dont think well be rushing back to Pincers.

We visited Naples and wanted to find some great seafood. After eating at Riverwalk(which was awful), we decided to ask locals where we should eat. They all said Pinchers. I then read the reviews and was a little scared to try it due to some of the unkind things people had to say. Well after trying it one night we ended up going back the next night too. It is delicious. And the service was so outstanding, we requested the same waiter on the second night. I cant find one thing wrong with this place. Portions are great, flavor is great, the view is great and the service is great. Please ignore all the negative reviews on here. We were a party of 7 and all 7 of us agree that this is a top notch seafood restaurant. A must try. When you go request Jon Boy. He is one of the best waiters weve ever had. Oh and the mussels and crab cheese dip are a must try.

Food was good, albeit pricey. Service was poor. My child was antsy from being there so long, usually that speeds up wait service...not here. Our waitress stopped by only 3 times during the meal and took forever to give our bill then pick up the payment. The food was tasty and the shrimp seemed very fresh. Flavoring was great in breading. Great setting on the porch by the docks! My husband got scampi and fried shrimp, I got the buffalo chicken and my child got the chicken fingers. Overall good but the kids fruit cup is the gross canned stuff with a cherry on top and we had to pay for the ranch dreading for her to dip her chicken in...my sandwich had no sauce and I had to pay for sauce so I shared with my child, thats a but ridiculous. The fries with the shrimp meal were excellent.

Pinchers advertises open until 10. They really mean get the heck out by 10. My family walked in about 20 till 10 -was seated with some scowls but we quickly proceeded to order. My wife asked for some salt for her margarita( as she had ordered it) and they said the bar tender threw it out already. They brought our food out which I will say was tasty- A few minutes after 10 at that time I asked if I could have a beer- and was informed the bar was closed. There shortly the music was turned off and the windows shut - we were sitting on the non-air-conditioning outdoor seating with roll up windows; Half way through my dinner at that time. I just had to ask for a to go box and leave. They certainly did not make my experience positive.

We had just arrived in Naples and decided to check Pichers out as it has a great location on the water. Happy hour had started so with two for one beers and $.60 cents shrimp oysters and chicken wings we dove right in. What a major disappointment, the chicken wings were soggy and the shrimp were small dry and tasteless. We tried the Chicken sandwich in hopes we would get a break from the bad appetizers but no improvement there. The so called 2 for 1 beers was a joke as we got two small glasses of beer for $5.50. The staff were very friendly, the water views great, however the food and drink waned in comparison. I have never posted a review on a restaurant prior to this but it was such a bad experience I felt I should warn people.

To be sure, Tin City is among the triumvirate of old-timey APF tourist destinations - the balance including *The Pier and *"promenading" both 5th & 3rd. Pinchers IS in Tin City - a saltyesque "the-stevedores-surely-come-here" kinda place with solid salty fare from yon seas. Our table of five was gathered primarily for sharing company and good times, but with the expectation of tasty goodness at our places - and said goodness was there. The Maryland blue crabs were done perfectly, and the other dishes (a shrimp concoction, a grouper (blackened) and the sole) were good. Dining is indoor or outdoor. Great views. Please do enjoy the small shops here - and the ice cream in center court is tops!
