I dont know where to begin. I usually do not like to publicly complain about any place In which I choose to eat, foremost because it was my choice to eat there. But in the case of The Broken Egg, I felt I needed to write a review to advise others of the food quality and service. I think the easiest way to describe my experience is to simply list the issues. My husband and I decided to try it for breakfast this morning and the following is what we encountered: 1. The restaurant was not busy, so we were able to choose our own booth. We were greeted in a timely manner, but it took roughly 10 minutes to get an iced tea and coffee and even then, my husband didnt receive his coffee until after the server came back to take our order once she dropped off my iced tea (approximately another 10 minutes after the initial drink order request). Meanwhile, 2 local people who strolled in were given immediate full attention. 2. We ordered what we felt were simple breakfasts. My eggs over easy, ham, potatoes, english muffin and 1 blueberry pancake. My husband ordered the same breakfast with his eggs poached medium and their homemade sausage patties. The entire time we are ordering the server is writing nothing down. When will restaurants learn that this is not the "chic way" of taking an order??? All it guarantees is that your order will be WRONG. Period. And it was.... 3. Our food was brought by another server (there were approximately 7-8 servers on staff this morning, most congregating toward the front of the restaurant chatting with one another). This other server dropped off our order and ran. 4. My husbands eggs were over easy, rather than poached medium, neither of us received our toasted english muffins, my pancake looked like it had been cooked once earlier in the morning and re-heated. It tasted this way, as well. It contained 7 blueberries--the pancake was the size of a dinner plate. No butter was brought with the pancake. The potatoes were those frozen cubed potatoes, deep fried hard and arrived cold. Tasteless... 5. Our server was pleasant to us when she arrived toward the end of our meal to ask how everything was. However prior to her checking back, the server who had delivered our meal had stopped by and when we told him of needing butter, as well as our english muffins, he never informed the original server of our needs or attempted to retrieve the items. Finally, after telling the original server of our need she brought out the items. Server #2--why ask if you arent going to do anything to improve the situation? All of this occurred at the very end of our meal. 6. My husband did inform the server his eggs had been cooked incorrectly, but he ate them anyway. To her credit, when she presented the bill, she had removed the cost of my husbands breakfast. 7. Bottom line--the food and service here are simply not good. There are many, many other places in the Naples area to enjoy a good breakfast. Skip The Broken Egg and move on. Youre not missing a thing.

Very disappointing to say the least... Coffee was either burnt or old it was so strong tasting I only took 2 sips of it and I love strong coffee but not from sitting on the warmer. I ask for water and the server ask if there was something wrong with the coffee I said yes it was terrible but it wasnt taken off the bill... I order Eggs Blackstone my poached eggs were overdone yokes were hard the hollandaise sauce what there was of it wasnt very tasty, tomatoes were mushy. Potatoes were lukewarm and mixed in with a few burnt ones. The whole meal was a disaster and pricey. Only one restroom per gender and I waited 20 minutes to get in, a server finally came out carrying cleaning supplies through the dining room and if cleaning was what she was suppose to be doing she failed at it the toilet had nastiness all around the rim the sink was covered water. theres no where to hang or sit a purse unless you want to sit it on top of the trash can or on wet sink counter. I guess because I arrived alone it was assumed I would prefer to sit at the bar. I gave it 2 stars because at least the server was pleasant.

An average breakfast spot with average, but over priced food. If you are a tea drinker, be aware that they charge by the tea bag. At $2.75 per bag you will have a very expensive meal. Oh, but if you are a coffee drinker refills are free.....something that infuriates me. I had two eggs over easy, some well cooked, bordering on over cooked bacon, some manufactured hashbrowns and an English muffin. My husbands eggs were sunny side up, with andouille sausage, and a brunt English muffin. He switched from hashbrowns to fruit which was an up-charge. He had a tea and a Coke, I had two teas. Cost....over $30.00. I asked for a comment card on the way out but they couldnt find any. My recommendation is skip another broken egg and go to something more local and off of 41 where you will get a good meal at a reasonable price and free refills on your tea.

Food was amazing, I had the crab cakes benedict which were delicious. Chicken and waffles were great and coffee was a nice roast. The manager Krystal greeted us upon entering and she was as sweet as can be. This is my new breakfast spot when visiting Naples. I highly recommend it. Update** Second visit, if you want breakfast or brunch dont look anywhere else. The service was so great thanks again Krystal and Kristin. Its rare to find this kind of attentiveness and friendliness nowadays. Try the biscuits you wont regret it !

Great location for an almost 24 hr breakfast place. There are sandwiches and salads also on the menu. Hard drinks too. Tried it this morning and ordered a "supreme omelet" and glass of tea. The omelet was good though nothing to write home about. Accompanying potato cubes were dry but edible. There was also an English muffin. Service was friendly and good. Total damage $13.50 plus tip. (Breakfast for one.) Might return but the other breakfast chains scattered about Collier County are more a bargain at the same quality.

If you are a foodie who loves unique options on a menu, this is the place to go! Super friendly staff, the menu options are fantastic and have very large portions. Homemade fried chicken, fresh eggs, biscuits, gravy...yum! I was drooling over the churro French toast, but thought it would be Waay too much food for just myself. The waitress gave me a slice...heaven! Now I have to waddle out of here. I hope to return to try their from scratch bloody Marys, their crawfish and grits...oh, my!

GREAT FOOD! Prices are good. Customer service is good I love this place, and am happy they are in other states I visit. I may be there, however, I am able to still feel "at home" at another Broken Egg. I am so very surprised it is listed at 3.9 and not 5 stars across the board. My experiences have all been wonderful. The ambience also plays a part in my happy experience with you, I believe it will continue to get better and better. Thank you for coming to Naples, Fl.
