This place was such a disappointment.my husband and I walked a little over a mile to find this place. We got there and it was not clean. We should have left immediately because the service seemed a bit off but then we decided to give it a chance. Our table wasnt wiped down. So we asked for it to be wiped down and the waiter used a wet cloth to wipe it down. I waited for her to use a dry napkin to finish the wipe down process - that didnt happen. My husband went and grabbed some napkins and wiped the damp table off for us. Then the food came my husband couldnt eat his because he ordered the wrong thing (this was our fault) and this is the only reason they are getting 2 stars because they gave us our money back. However they werent nice and warm, jus very get past the day kind of attitude. Maybe I was out off, maybe the pancakes were bad. I know I didnt eat it anymore doe. I forced my self through one because we were very hungry. Maybe some other people had better experiences mine was rather disappointing

This place was such a disappointment. My husband and I came in yesterday for breakfast. The pastries looked great and so did someone elses plate. My husband ordered french toast and I ordered Eggs Benedict, one large iced coffee and small iced tea. The small and large beverages were the same size. The hollandaise sauce for my Eggs Benedict was definitely from an instant packet. The color was off and so was the taste. The eggs were on a toasted stale piece of brioche bread. The ham they used couldnt be cut any thinner. They might as well have saved the money and not put any on. Too top it off, they drizzled the whole dish with cheap balsamic vinegar. It threw off the taste of the meal completely. The french toast lacked any spice. It was just bread dipped in egg and onto the frying pan it went. We went over to another bakery down the street and bought sandwiches and pastries there. Save your money and hit up the Italian bakery on Collins. This is the worst french food experience Ive had in South Beach.

I would gave it excellent if i took the delicious chicken panini and Almond Cream Croissant to go, but unfortunately we had to deal with that rude waitress. First she doesnt understand or speak English, she got us our food without plates only in basket, when we asked her (using signs language) for plates, she got us one tiny small plastic plate only and when we told her that we dont need it , she got us 2 plates and throw them very rudely to our table. What really surprised me that manager was sitting behind us and he didnt even made a comment!!!

Love their croissants, (chocolate chip is to die for) cheese danish is unbelievable, quiche lorraine tres delicieux, chicken salad sandwich cest magnifique! The service is slow but appropriate for the setting, it is NOT a fast food place!! THAT being said, call your order in if you are in a hurry!!! The girls are busy but become very pleasant once they get to know you. In this area it is not that expensive and a good vallue for the tasty choices you have. ENJOY!

I am slightly torn between a 4 and 5 star review for La Provence, so I guess Ill round up. Ill say that it was slightly less that what I desire in a french bakery in terms of atmosphere (everyone has their platonic ideal), however it exceeded my expectations in quality of their food. Im happy I gave it a try. I was planning to grab a slice at the pizza place next door, but the line was too long.

I dont know what this other reviewer is talking about. In the afternoon everything that I ever want is sold out. Fantastic almond and chocolate pastries. Not like the ones everyone else sell. I live in NYC and I stop in whenever I am in South Beach. If I lived near a location I would be sooo fat!

We had breakfast there every day of our one week mini vacations, and we loved it. The baguette was delicious and the prices, fair. We felt like we were in Paris, as the athmosphere was charming and friendly. It surely is one of the few places to get a decent coffee at that part of South Beach.

Péssimo atendimento, dona discutiu com cliente que reclamou que ela esqueceu de levar na mesa um café. Mau educada, grosseira.

Ordered through uber eats, received completely wrong order, someone elses apparently and they were of no help, just told me to contact person that delivered it which was impossible. So I was just left with something I didnt order. Poor customer service.

Stop here year after year, baked goods, breakfast, coffee and sandwiches for lunch are all excellent. Display case for pastry is something to see. This is a great place if you are staying at nearby hotels, the prices are better as well.

It hard to rate this place, the food ranges from really good to old-tasting, the service ranges from good to standard "south beach bad", the prices are fairly expensive.
