Venezuelan style neighborhood bakery with most of the goodies one would desire. This was my first pass and I had an "Empanada con carne mechada" made from corn meal not flour and fried to a golden crusty brown.... simply delicious! My second course was a "Tequeno" which I can never resist, always hoping to find something sort of close to the real thing but, as usual, this was a disappointment. It was a nice try but impossible to re-create for lack of the required queso blanco de Maracaibo - "Palmi-Zulia" which is not available in this country so mozzarella is used as a poor substitute. Unfortunately, the crust was not wonderful either... sort of hard not flaky. The Tequeno disappointment was expected but all in all the empanada made up for it in spades! I will go back again to try the cachapas, pan de jamon and arepas next!

I have been living in the area for more than 20 years, but lately Im avoiding the bakery because of service. Even when there are no customers in store, sales staff behind counter do not greet customers when they enter the store, and just talking amongst themselves without acknowledging my presence. Their mentality is like theyre there to make you wait, and i should pay them for serving me as opposed to getting me what i want. Somehow they make me feel unwanted, and like Im disturbing them in their conversations when entering the store. The owner got arrogant throughout the years, and staff is just arrogant and plain nasty to customers.

Came in all ready to try their empanadas ( tried many places on the strip) and while they were busy i patiently waited 13 minutes for someone to notice and serve me. (I even made eye contact and smiled at the girl behind the counter). She looked past me and took an order from. The person behind me. This place is a small , cluttered, order from the counter kind of place. 2 doors down you get WAY better service and fresh empanadas.

Moises Bakery is a Venezuelan bakery in Miami, which offers a broad array of products elaborated by a warm-hearted team knowledgeable about the Latin American cuisine flavor of that country. Its two locations are really small for the amount of people visiting it on a daily basis, in spite of that, their empanadas, cachitos (savory puff croissants filled with chopped ham), tequeños, arepas and cachapas are bound to delight any diner.

Buena comida venezolana aunque un poco cara comparándola con otros lugares venezolanos en Miami y mala atención por parte de las chicas de la mañana cubanas aunque no lo mismo por las señoras venezolanas

One of the few cafeterias in the area that serve croquettas they embody various different latin bakery styles columbian, venezuelan, and cuban. Great for pastries and snacks this bakery has a cornerstone on latin comfort food. The facility is not the cleanest and their may be a language barrier depending on what time of the day and what staff is on shift but overall good quality pasteles and service.

En estos días volví me atendieron de lo mejor y con mucha paciencia. Sin duda merece que les suba la calificación ya que me hacen pensar que mi primera mala impresión fue un accidente.

Been going to moises for years great place but today got super bad taste sofias their attendant first time i see her extremely rude. now make thing twice if i want to expose to such a bad service. Theres a lot places you can go here in miami to get good empanadas good customer service will make a difference and sofia will make you wont come back to your store again.

I went there for a cake. I bought the cake, took it home to serve and it was old and tasted awful. I paid 30.00 for this embarrassment and they only refunded me 25.00. Stay away. Also I seriously doubt if they bake anything in house. I could have gotten a better cake at Publix. I guess Ive learned my lesson about patronizing small buisnesses!!!

My Bakery for the past 21+ years, the best of the best & it cant not get better than this ♡this place is on 7310 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; it is not Hallendale nor Miami, this is North Beach! ;) Simply delicious and you must try their Venezuelan tradional Xmas combos, no words to explain the flavors and the seasoning ☆☆☆☆☆

By far best bakery in Florida!! All their amazing pastries, cookies and sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Prices are extremely reasonable and customer service is very warm and friendly. This is one of our main stops every time we come to miami. Highly recommended you treat yourself to their fineries.

Ive been coming to this bakery since I was a little girl and I love it here. The staff feels like family and their food makes me feel at home. I live in DC now, but every time I come home to visit family, I HAVE to come here. All of the food is DELICIOUS and the coffee is amazing.
