The only negative with Burgers & Shakes is that I am 4,350km away from it. It all started in March of 2012 when my friend and I went to Miami. Our hotel was conveniently located one block away from this joint. We remembered it was close when we had driven past from the airport in the taxi. It was around supper time and we figured wed go for a stroll. My whole burger eating life has since changed after that first bite of that glorious beast. The remaining meals of our 5 day stay magically worked out that we could treat our tastebuds to the succulent food from the corner of Collins & 74th St. Now at night it calls to me in my dreams. Taunting me. Knowing there is nothing comparable nearby to soothe the yearning to sink my teeth into magic that is Burgers and Shakes.

The instant you walk in the door, you are hit with the strong heat of the burners going full blast inside and the smell of delicious burgers. That thick burger smoke gives a high like no other. The smoke goes directly into your bloodstream and races quickly towards the belly. The hunger pangs it sets off makes you order a BBQ burger and a chocolate shake. The waiting period hurts and sucks. As you wait outside the smoke constantly hits you. The BBQ is amazing. Not the best burger that Ive had but its delightful. The perfectly melted cheese, the almost too big onion ring, good solid meat, and the not too thick BBQ sauce. Delicious. So if Im ever in Miami Beach for a meeting and I feel like taking my time up A1a, Ill definitely stop by burgers and shakes.

Awesome! Einer der besten Burger die ich jemals gegessen habe. Die Shakes waren ebenso hervorragend. Ich empfehle jedem, der in der Nähe ist, dieses kleine Restaurant zu besuchen. Es ist einzigartig zu einem Spitzenpreis. Ich habe selten so gut und so günstig gegessen wie hier. Immer wieder!

Its a nice and cozy place to have something to eat. Despite some constant lineup changes, everybody seems to know what theyre doing. Sometimes you have to remind them you are waiting to be taken care of. Probably its the night shift, everybodys tired... lets say that... The menu is short so you dont have to spend time thinking. The food is good, however you can stumble upon a greasy burger thats not how you expected it. The best part? The music and ambient. Give it a shot, youll be satisfied, but dont expect a decent meal... its just a burger joint.

Amazing bbq burger, one of the best burgers Ive had in south FL. It is messy but so flavorful, especially with jalapenos and a shake. The bbq sauce was not too smokey or thick with the right amount of sweetness. The strips of bacon were plentiful and thick, definitely the best part of the burger. Unfortunately, the onion ring did not add much to the burger and it was overcooked because they dont ask you how youd like the meat cooked. Also, forego the side of fries, jt is tasteless. But I will definitely be back for the burger.

As the name suggests this place does burgers and shakes and they do them well. You can build your own or try some of their popular favorites they really allow you to pour it on with the toppings. They have outdoor seating and are pretty quick.at the register at getting your order. They have fountain drinks and parking is generally easy to find in that area. There is not much else to do in that area other than go to the library or walk/biker the boardwalk.

Looks like it would be a good place for a tasty burger. I tried their BBQ burger. The onion was tasteless and the patty how no seasoning. My wife had the chicken avocado. It was greasy and not well put together, bacon wasnt fried to perfection. The sweet potatoe fried are cut so thick that they have no tasty crunch but instead soft and no flavor. I didnt have the shakes but its made with hershe powder out of the box I guess its fine.

Nice place to chill for lunch the fries are very tasty you have regular and sweet potato with sea salt the wait can take a minute but ensure fresh quality the burgers are good but not sloppy good they are just not raving mad good. But if you like the super burger with egg n ham try Venezia pizza its cheaper n tastier but if you want to say you had burger n shakes then cool go4 it, but try Venezia on 65th. And compare!

My first burger I had was decent. It was not worth the money, but it was tasted edible. It was not until they gave me a raw burger that I felt this place was terrible. I would have never wrote this review if they would have given me my money back. Honestly, people make mistake, and I doubt they consistently cook raw hamburgers. Still, do not spend money here because there highest priority is keeping their money.

it was my first time in this place and i did not have battery and i was looking for an outlet to charge my phone and the manager call "Robert" cane to me and told me i cpuld and that i need to ask for permission i told him im sorry and asking if it was ok or if he charge for it, and he say you cannot used it. I live in broward county and was trying to get some battery to use my gps back home. What an a@$$!#/

The burger is good, but you have to go inside and get everything you need, even to order. when I went to get my order, I had lost my seat when I cameback, I dont understand why u would have waitress there if the just stand there and clean after you eat..That is not a good business model in my opinion. So be careful when u go inside to order, u might not have a seat when u comeback !

Its a shame we are locals costumers n today we went for a drink, my husband ask for an ice capuccino we please requested if the girl takING care of us could put sugar to the coffee before she mix it she answer NO, when it takes 1second.. so she just haves us the capuccino like that. How u possible out ur sugar n mix it after the weppie cream n syrup is on it. Very low sevice

Burger was good. Shake was alright. BUT....Those Onion Rings are an abomination!. $4 for 4 slices of onion!?? WTF? Are on onions going extinct? Not to mention they taste like crap! Of the high dollar burger joints...Burgers n Shakes burgers are purdy good. But their side items are ridiculously expensive and the onion rings totally suck in every way possible!

Der BBQ-Burger war hervorragend. Die Shakes (Erdbeer und Vanille) waren ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Die Preise sind durchaus moderat. Wer in der Nähe ist, sollte da einkehren.

Had the classic cheeseburger and fries, very good!! However, service was extremely slow and there was only 2 people working (cook and cashier). Not alot of room to stand or wait in line either. Took 30 minutes just to get my "fast food", but in the end, it was worth it. Would eat there again but ill be sure to have plenty of time to waste waiting on food.
