Both my grandfather and I loved it, which is probably a good sign for a restaurant. And despite the fact that he couldnt remember the word "tapas" and kept talking about how much he liked the "kepes" it still was great. Another of his interesting points was that he couldnt believe how many line items there were on the check. 22 or so for a four person dinner. But once you throw in drinks, appetizers, desserts and maybe a side dish or two, wouldnt a restaurant that didnt serve small plates have a check with the number of items somewhere in the teens? This really had no bearing (for me) on the meal, but its food for thought. The food otherwise was really good. Shrimp skewers were tasty, but pretty much what youd expect. Wynwood salad had fantastic tomatoes. The braised short rib was fairly tender, but could have used a bit more time in. Pico Verde was pretty average. Roasted beets were delicious and not overly "beety". Scallops were similar to the shrimp in that they were good, but unadventurous. The mushrooms and brussel sprouts were great. So was the haricot vert. And while I liked the drinks, none of them knocked my socks off. And while the artwork at a restaurant is usually an afterthought for me, the street art in and around the grounds is fantastic. Worth your time to check out, and really adds to the experience. Plus, if you get chatty after two martinis like my grandfathers fiancé, you might get a free book.

Food came out delayed, and the portions were miserably small. No place should charge as much for a ceviche appetizer, as they do for the duck, yet this place does exactly that. I ordered the duck, which came out about 15 minutes later than it was supposed to. By the time everyone had been throughly finished with their meals, mine came. The duck was woefully undercooked, which made absolutely no sense considering i had ordered it well cooked, and it had already taken a long time to come out from the kitchen. They offered a free dessert for it, but it wasnt nearly good enough to justify the terrible delays they imposed on my group, and the embarrassment i had to endure for being the sole reason as to why the groups plans were delayed by 1 hour- because after the 45 minute wait for my food, the desert also was delayed. In summary: If you want to eat at a pretentious bar that thinks its higher class than it is, offering puny portions for high prices, then this is the place for you.

This is my favorite place in Wynwood. I love its artsy flair. It is located right next to the Wynwood walls and the interior decor blends well with the whole scene. The service is friendly and the bar menu is extensive. (good beer slection) The food menu is a blend of Latin dishes with standard american ones. they have items like empanadas, queso fundido, burgers, salads, and even a churrasco dish that seems to be a good seller. The food is tasty and well presented but the portions are smaller than in other casual eateries. The price tag is a bit high for a casual place. However the location is unique. This is a must when visiting Wynwood. Warning: the place gets very crowded during art walk and it is almost impossible to get in during Basel events in the area (December)

While their website could open up quicker, their food and service is top notch. The food is delivered in the order it is done whether it is an appetizer or entree. The Latin caesar salad with a chipotle dressing and panenta croutons is pretty good as are their ropa vieja empanadas and medjool dates that are wrapped in bacon. I am glad we got there a little after 12 for lunch. There was a long wait afterwards and with good reason. The restaurant has an artsy decor to go with the neighborhood. Their Latin Misu dessert which consists of lady fingers, espresso, meringue tres leches is to die for. There is a reason people are willing to wait a while to eat here. It certainly is worth it. Now if only their website was done as well as their food.

Tonight my honey and I decided to to take a drive into Miami. "Why not?!?" we thought ... The original plan was to find a spot on "The Beach". Then lightning struck and we Varoooomed over to Wynwood. The streets are lined with art - paying homage to the guys who love hip hop and skateboards - Wynwood Kitchen rests dead smack in the middle of it all ... The restaurant is Legit with a menu that will put a party in your mouth. The service is tapas style, so that means when the food is done it gets brought to your table. .. Which is awesone cuz we were hungry. Our server, Gabriella is a darling - and this Chimey Grand Reserve is a pleswnt surprise. Its not pricy. Its full of flavor. The ambiance is awesome. And you should visit. -Rod

As a lover of both food and art, I was in my element at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar. I was honestly surprised to find good food, reasonable prices, friendly service AND a fun environment all in one place! The menu is diverse, with options ranging from the universally pleasing to more local flair. The shrimp ceviche was my personal favorite--light, tangy and perfect for a warm day. The ample outdoor patio is the perfect spot for watching crowds experience Wynwood Walls next door (a highly recommended next stop). Overall this combination of brunch and art was the perfect way to get away from the South Beach crowds and experience a different part of Miami.

The place is really nice and the food taste great however the portions are very small and pricey for what you are getting. Not a good place to go if you are hungry!!! Medium portions should really be called small. Lets not forget their special sauce that smells and taste a lot like ketchup. The staff was nice but unfamiliar with their menu. Drinks are very pricey you would think a $6 corona would taste better!!! lol....Parking can be a headache. Thank goodness their staff was pleasant!!!!

Beautiful Atmosphere!! My bartender (wish I could remember his name) was so smooth with his upsales and had such a great character presence about himself, it didnt matter what he was trying to pitch! He was friendly and spoke to both me and my guest as if he knew us for years. He was great. I loved the place. It was my first time going there and I would def be trying to revisit some time in the near future. Hope to bring my family for some drinks when they visit! Location is great!!

Wynwood Kitchen and Bar is a great unique spot for date night when in the Miami, South Beach area. The food is to die for and the atmosphere is definitely a conversation piece because of all the artwork that surrounds you. The service is quick and the waiters are very attentive. The DJ is enjoyable and a nice touch whike waiting for your food. After dinner you can take a walk through Wynwood Park and enjoy more art and of course take crazy pictures. This restaurant is a must in Miami.
