Went for dinner, ordered the mushu beef and vegetable fried rice. The beef in the mushu dish tasted like it had been frozen, and had a mushy texture - quite a difference from my last trip a couple weeks ago. Worse was the rice. One of the bites came with a shred of metal that scratched the interior of my mouth. The waitress said it was from the scrubs they use to wash the pans and rushed it away from the table. Later came a new rice, that we were scared to eat. The owner left the fried rice with metal shred on the bill, with no offer to discount or remove the item from the bill. Rather than tell him how to run his restaurant, I will simply never return. Be careful if you order any fried rice dishes, the use metal scrubs that leave metal shreds in the pan, watch every bite!

The people who run this place (theyve been here just for years and years) are grabby (read, "penny-pinching") and aloof and dismissive. Order a mu-shu dish and, if the four little "pancakes" arent enough, you get charged for more, one by one. Theyve been at it too long, and its apparent they dont like it. The food? Really pedestrian. If you want "Chinese food" like your parents and grandparents used to get and give you, youll feel right at home. Want something more, something more inventive and enjoyable? Find one of the places in a strip mall somewhere that serves real "Chinese" (or, Asian) food. This aint the place.

Cantons used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant and we went atleast once a week. The food was always hot, tasty and fresh. The service was also tops. Recently the last 3 times weve eaten there, the food quality was poor, like if they had the food sitting there and it had been re-heated. We had to ask the waitress to microwave the honey chicken since it was less than warm. The service has also suffered considerably. We will no longer dine there. Do yourself a favor as I have done and unless they improve, find another restaurant. It is now expensive and not worth it. An incredible shame since it used to be wonderful.

Ive been craving Chinese food for weeks now so I had such high hopes for great food. Ordered a lunch special with soup, fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. The rice was parboiled so it had a foul taste and was just terrible. The chicken was cold!!!!!!! Absolutely cold and soggy!!! The best part of my dish was the soup.... Just water is what I had for lunch. Thanks Canton. Sincerely - a one time customer.

Just spent 40$ on Chinese food, I didnt enjoy. I hold CANTON Chinese food to a higher standard. Ill never go here for chinese again. The Honey Chicken was very dry and not fresh, Vegetable EggfooYoung was a WET MESS! The eggs could have been cooked a bit longer and the gravy should have been on the side. My dog loved it :/ I Picked up my order

This is not the greatest chinese food, but maybe for some one who doesnt know what real chinese food tastes like then they might think its good. Over all there beef and broccoli was the best thing. Coming from the west coast where there are many good chinese places I have still yet to find the greatest chinese food here in Miami.

Ive been coming here for years, ordering for delivery, dine-in and no matter what they are always so consistent with quality. The food is always hot and fresh. Chicken is always crispy and sizzling. Service is great. They really take the time and never rush! I dont eat Chinese anywhere else.

My first time was a week ago. WOOW it changed my life about Chinese food, canton is a higher level of food. I love the sushi. If you want good sushi go to canton. Im a sushi lover and i know what good Chinese food is. And now im back again for my second time. I love it love it.

Ordered Honey chicken and Egg drop soup. None of it was edible. The eggdrop soup was colder then room temperature. I heated it up and it tasted rotten. The honey chicken was undercooked. These people do not know how to handle food, and will make someone sick.

I ordered for delivery. Horrible just horrible. They honey chicken tasted like rubber. I called, not even an attempt to make it better. I gather customer service is not high on their list. I do not recommend this restaurant and will never buy there again.

I have been going there four thirty five years,and the whole family we all love this place. Our favorite food are honey chicken, canton steak, and shrimp fried rice, it can feed a family of five easy. Its been open around 38 years. Best Chinese around.

Ive only gotten delivery so, which was here rather fast. I live about 2 miles away so that is pretty good for me. Sometimes the rice can be a bit bland but I can almost always count on some good honey chicken and an egg roll.

Mushu Chicken was utterly disgusting. Dead vegetables swimming in a tasteless brine. Rice was dry, all in all, one of the worst takeouts Ive ever had.
