For years, the Bamboo has been our favorite place to visit during our vacation on MADEIRA Beach....well not anymore. Our group was so disappointed with the rude staff and the fact that on a Friday night at 9:00, during spring break, we were told by the bartender they were closing. On the first day we got there, we wanted to order food and the stench was so bad,we lost our appetites. Bring back the old Boo! It is so sad to walk by at 8/9:00 and see it so dark and lifeless.

This is a neat place to hang out and have a drink or two. Have never had the food here, but it looked pretty average coming out to other tables around us. They normally have live music. Took a few minutes to get waited on then once we did there was some confusion on which server we actually belonged to. Ordered a Pina Colada that didnt taste like it had any alcohol in it, but still had good flavor. No beach or ocean view here although it provides a similar vibe.

Great food, service was good, and the singer they had playing outside was soooo good. His name was Paul Dowers. He has the perfect selection of music, sang them exactly like the original, and had an awesome voice. Even after eating our delicious food, we still wanted to stay and hear more of him, we even had to get a pic with Mr. Dowers The outside patio is definitely the place to be! We will definitely be back!

Service was good but...we stayed to listen to the one featured singer. We asked him to play hang on sloopy.. I dropped $10.00 in his jar and started saying he wont play it because someone owes him money.. you would have thought he would have brought my money back to me... he never even talk to us. We had about 10 people with us. Very disappointed in the entertainment..

Its 2pm on a Sunday. They arent remotely busy and yet the service is terrible. Only two tables at the bar with people including us. We wanted food but just getting a drink was a nightmare. I wish the server would just bring the check so we could leave already. Well get food somewhere else. The people next to me left their drinks and walked out.

Great staff and good food... Kept us laughing and entertained on regular clear nights we have visited here and there. Even on rainy nights they were a blast.. Bathrooms not big enough for my wheel chair. I can walk slowly about 9 steps, take break, walk a little more... but that was 8 months ago. Still loved the smiling staff!!!

Live music each time we went. Always busy. Food was great each time. Beer was ice cold. The only lack was servers. But looking around at the all the shops and other resturants there now hiring signs everywhere. So it could be just that time of year.

Love coming here. Music is great and the servers are very friendly. Food is really good. Its a place to chill out and enjoy the atmosphere. My wife and I come here as our last stop to rest and relax after walking all over the place.

Visited April 12, 2015. Hot, expensive and not as clean as you might want for this area. Waitress was more about smoking and cell phones than customers. Too many choices in that area to need to go back.

This is a great place to sit back and relax, eat and drink and listen to music. It is directly across from the beach and is very easy getting to. Every year it is one of our stops while vacationing.

Crappy food crappy service. Dont get the lemonade tastes like generic lemon flavored water. This was a horrible choice to eat lunch. I wouldnt come back here if it was the only restaurant around.

Shaved ribeye on pita smothered in horseradish sauce(mild). Delicious sandwich. Ice cold draft beer. Excellent service. Great place to get a buzz during a rainstorm.
