Summary- There are just to many really good, consistent restaurants in the area to have to suffer through Bonefish I live on Indian Rocks Beach and dont see the need to cross the bridge anymore for this place. 4 Stars? Maybe it was a bad night...but it didnt even come close to mediocre. Or the reviewers are inexperienced diners who would consider The Red Lobster a nice place too. Or would consider The Olive Garden a real treat. Ive tried eating at this bonefish several times...never going back again. consistently disappointing. Maybe I expect to much...but they bill themselves as a a nice place to eat...but the underlying vibe is "fast food". My food was under cooked...couldnt get the attention of anyone to have it redone...so sloppy service. I was there with my girlfriend so I suspect that my waiter was more involved in keeping the big tables moving along for a bigger tip...and that I didnt count. We ordered a Sam Adams beer..."Sorry were out" Really. Summertime...Summer Ale and you dont plan ahead to stock it. Default went to Blue Moon...we were actually going out to a craft beer place afterwards...and the first one came without an orange in it...second had the orange. Whats the big deal, you say? Just an example of the overall sloppiness of the place. All those small (and big) shortcomings added up to terrible experience. Tables jammed onto the floor so I keep bumping up against the people next to me. Maybe if you sit up in one of their booths the experience is better. Decor is dated and worn...not frayed...but not "fresh". Someone finally came around to "see if everything was okay"...(it wasnt)...turned out he was the manager...and apologized that he didnt come by earlier (said that was his job) but he was the only manager on duty. Another "Really?" experience. Short staffed on a Saturday evening? Besides Ive come to the belief that apologies dont count in my world. Who cares if your sorry? My girlfriend had already eaten here meal by the time they came over...and so my relaxing meal before our other plans was instead replaced by a lousy experience. So you give me my meal and a free beer? In exchange for a bad time? The "fix" is not adjusting my cost. Who cares about the money. Youve already made a mess of this night. The fix is replacing my evening with another evening. Invite me back on your dime and give me the chance to have a good time. I would like to say maybe it was an off night...but Ive eaten there a couple of times and it was the same thing. As I go back and re-read my review I asked myself. "Is this being to harsh? Do I sound like a discontented soul who wouldnt be happy with anything in life?" Maybe. But Im not normally that way. You can see my other reviews. Ive had multiple bad experiences and should announce that. If you have any discrimination...or are annoyed by a restaurant chain relying on their reputation....but you end up unhappy...others should know

Used to be my favourite place for steaks. Used to go there every week. Lately however the quality of meat has been steadily dropping.I used to get food to go alot but since they always forget half of it I stopped doing that as well. After the third time they forgot something on my take out order I asked to speak to manager who assured me he would send me a gift card or coupon. I have yet to receive any compensation since I most likely got brushed off like the other people who probably complain about their chewy steak being covered in fat. I guess customer satisfaction is not their top priority. Used to be a great place but it has increasingly gotten worse and worse. Steaks are usually overcooked and of subpar quality. Seafood is somewhat acceptable. And unless your are 60 or older you will feel lost in that dark overairconditioned no ambience wanna be modern and stylish corperate chain. But since the taste and quality of most food in the tampa bay area is appaling (except any corperate chain who is not from around here) anyway it probably seems like the best place in the state for the locals. Bottom line BELOW AVERAGE FOOD ESPECIALLY THE STEAKS which used to be good, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE sevice if something goes wrong. Used to be One their best customers but they managed to scare me away for good

Had to much food in the hair meal. The 1 star is actually a little high....... Just had a meal there 12/10/ 16, We are very regular customers and had the Sushi Tuna bowl and my girlfriend had Salmond and House Salad. I had 2 hairs in my meal and my partner had 1 also. When we only "mentioned" it, we were made to feel that we were trying to cheat them into something for nothing: as quote" we didnt let them know" whilst we were pulling it from our teeth. Even though a gentleman next to us said "he saw us pulling the hair out of our mouths " , the young lady assistant manager still made us feel like we were trying to get something for free. She did offer us a free meal , which we declined as by now we were more INSULTED than annoyed about the hair in our meal. Belleair Beach Resident

I love the menu & the taste of the food. The problem is EVERY SINGLE TIME I eat here I get diarrhea. It has to be this place because it never happens to me at any other restaurant and I dine out multiple times a week. I tried ordering various items for the menu & it doesnt matter what it is I still get sick. I kept coming back hoping it was just what I ordered but after the fifth or sixth time I knew it was Bonefish without a doubt. I start to feel sick sometimes when Im not even finished with my meal, other times I made it home when it started, and the last & final time I literally had to pull over to the side of the road like a dog. I have NEVER experienced anything like this! Has anyone else has severe diarrhea when eating at Bonefish? Its a shame.

The service was great, the food not so much both me and company I went with not just felt but, did get sick after eating it. We both even had different menu items. I had the tuna bowl which had gray colored tuna, which , is by no means a good sign. She had the wagyu burger and didnt even finish it and the fries were not good either. To top it off the restaurant was atleast 100 degrees everyone in our party looked like we were at a hot yoga class. Add that to the bad food I know I will not be back. No thanks bonefish free food couldnt bring me back.

Cannot describe the miserable experience at this Bonefish Grill restaurant ... the staff lied about the wait time, the availability of table vs booth seating, and quality of the food. The entrees were cold - even after being sent back to the kitchen TWICE. The "Manager" was unapologetic, uninterested in our complaints, and never returned to our table after we made our complaint known to the WaitStaff. This is the second time in 6-months we visited this restaurant ... and the last time . I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

As a company, we get together once every quarter for dinner. There are usually about 20 employees that attend the dinner. After a few lousy experiences with the service at other restaurants, we tried Bonefish. They were absolutely fantastic from the time we walked in the door and were greeted by the host, to the table service, food, and until we walked out the door. They are so friendly, accommodating and professional. I cant say enough good about our experience at this West Bay Dr. Bonefish. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
