When I was there they had an Italian server and she was the BEST! I wish I would have remembered her name, I thought it was really nice being in an Italian Pizza Place and being served by a real Italian. Seemed like she was the only one that was working. I went in there more then once and the other girls were just walking around very slow I mean if they went any slower they would stop. Or they were in a group just hanging out at the bar. The Bread Sticks were the best! And free! One night my husband and I were in there and had a short stocky girl wait on us and she over charged us. She wasnt very friendly and she rolled her eyes a a lot. When ever we asked for anything she rolled her eyes. We kept going back to see if we could get the Italian girl to wait on us then one night there was a tall real heavy girl she had (Blonde hair) on the Patio talking to an older shorter lady I think she was the boss she started yelling and throwing the F word around and was talking about another one of the servers. I think she was just rude!! And the language was bad. She didnt care that we were sitting there she just kept throwing a tantrum. I would not go there again the Atmosphere was bad. They only have one good server. The Italian Girl.

These guys are either writing their own reviews or hired a company to do it for them. This is simply NOT Italian food. Greasy soggy undercooked bread stiks drenched in oil & garlic powder. GROSS! the pizza is no better like they didnt even let it fully rise it stretches and its raw in the middle. The sauce is chef boyardee and this is in no way Italian food. Im Italian and try all the Italian food in the area. Want good pizza? You go to Marios Trattoria on ulmerton a few blocks east. Want exceptional italian food? you go to Mi Amicis on west bay. Oh and if you like wings try Gooses bar across the street from this wretched place. God awful swill too, the wine sucked too in fact this whole place is pure bottom line, we felt like we were eating off the Sysco truck. We walked out on the food and tipped the server.

Did not Impress me. I know How to make pizzas so trust me when I tell you they use cheep cheese. the marinara, and pizza sauce, are from a can. The calamari is frozen. I felt like the server was trying to hustle me. They use the word "GOURMET" on the menu (which had mess on it ) and there Is no chef with any kind of accreditation just a line cook. Good rule of thumb for pizza shops "NEVER TRUST A PRIVATE KITCHEN" If you cant see your cook making your food there is probably a reason for it . The food did not make me feel good at all. If you are the type of eater that is picky about pizza dont eat this pizza. There is a pizza restaurant just across from here that is really good.

We go there frequently but find the menu inconsistent. My wife had the shrimp scampi again tonight, because she loved it last week. But tonight it was bland. Weve complained once before about the pizza but the gal we spoke to became defensive and said they didnt change the recipe. (But someone may have substituted a cheaper ingredient). Look, if someone is trying to tell you you that you may have a problem they are doing you a favor by telling you. So one day you dont wonder why everyone is somewhere besides your restaurant.

I live in Largo and eat out regularly. Have not been to Pizza Shack in awhile and was itching for some pizza. It was pretty bad. Very soggy all the way thru and greasy is an understatement. Picked up a piece and it fell limp like a washcloth. I got soup instead and it was ok. Then it took forever to get our bill and change.....wasnt busy by the way.....for a place called Pizza Shack, the signature dish was not good. Wouldnt recommend and wont be going back any time soon. Sorry guys.

Pre-ordered on Saturday to pick food up Sunday at 12:30. I have really enjoyed the food in the past but this time, it was horrible. I ordered 50 wings and they were over cooked and hard to chew. I ordered a large calzone, which looked like a small. The waitress even told me it looks small cause its in a small pizza box, really. The large pizza I ordered just did not taste like normal. Dont know what is happening but go back the way you were.

I have been eating at this place for years and the quality of the foods has always been superior to most Italian pizza and sub restaurants in the area. Good local crowd here and an outdoor deck for cool evening casual dining. I cant judge their meals because I always have a sub or their pizza which is excellent.

If you are looking for mom & pop place STOP looking cause you have found it. We had an antipasto salad, it was fresh and delicious. Then we each had a 9 inch pizza-WOW The sauce was amazing. Then to top it off the service was attentive. When we are back on town we will eat at this hidden gem.

Great family owned and operated business. You can always tell the difference when people take pride in what they do. The food is very good. I used to go to the Pizza Shack with my Grandfather and continue to bring my family often. Do not underestimate the ribs. ;)

Without question, if you are a pizza lover as most of us are, you will throughout your travels always use Pizza Shack as the standard for excellence in pizza. In other words, this a damn good pizza!! Oh and by way, they have WIFI!!

Great "gourmet" pizza, with awesome bread sticks and marinara. The Shack has the best chicken wings in the Tampa Bay area. I do not say that lightly. I dont stray too far from those items though, you can go wrong here.

Small Family type place. The best spaghetti sauce, great pizza, and excellent service. Gets to be a wait in tourist season so go earlier. Ask for waitress Becka and tell he Mike told you to come!

Good prices, nice and quaint atmosphere. The servers are nice enough. The pizza didnt really have much taste to it, nothing special. Havent tried any other dishes. Good for a last minute meal.

Honestly some of the worst pizza Ive had. Extremely greasy white pizza, more so than most meat lovers Ive had. Would have rather spent a few bucks on a frozen pizza from the grocery store.

Great place and great prices. Hasnt changed much since Danny and Angie owned the place years ago. They have a great deep dish & eight layer lasagna. Their calzone is the best in town.
