24 June 12- Palace Pizzas Restaurant does not compare to their Pizzeria style places at various other locations. The restaurant cuisine is more authentic Italian but their calamari looks more like very large onion rings. The batter is not seasoned and the texture of the meat is rubbery. They do not have the large pizzas available for consumption in the dining room, only offering a 10" personal sized pizza. Ive enjoyed the large pizzas many times catered for company luncheons always looking forward to taking the family to their restaurant. The server was great but the manager seemed to take it personally when I expressed my opinion of the calamari. He never came to our table nor were we offered a substitute. He did however remove it from our bill. As far as the restaurant on South Florida,.....Never again!

Too few servers for a busy dinner service....bus girl didnt seem to understand English and stood around like a deer in headlights most of the night. Tomato sauce tasted straight from a can (tinny), and dishes were salty and over-cheesed. We felt rushed, our server didnt ever have time for us (when asked to order he said "Im sorry I cant, ill be back in a few"...then why come to our table???) last straw was he screwed up our check. We wont be back.

Lasagna was not to bad. Had chunks in it I could not chew. Manager/ owner, not sure who he was, he never introduced himself. I asked for Garlic bread. Got told they have garlic knots. Then he spent three minutes ranting about garlic bread not being a real Italian food. That garlic bread was an American invention and again not real food. You will Never find any garlic bread served in Italy.

Some of the best vodka sauce Ive had in a long time. The Penne Alla Vodka is excellent with chicken and mushrooms. The pizzas are very good with super fresh ingredients. You can tell this is a family owned placed as they value their customers. Prices are very affordable for the quality of food provided and the portions are large.

My wife and I love this place. The owner is a great person and cares greatly about the food and your experience. The portions are huge, we almost always share a meal. Recommend: Chicken Francese, Ravioli ala Vodka, Lasagna, their sea food specials are always top notch.

Server was friendly but forgetful. Refills in an empty restaurant took 10 minutes too long. Food lacked flavor and the marinara had little to no seasoning. I ordered chicken parm and it was drowning in sauce. Garlic knots also did not taste like their namesake.

Great food and a warm friendly atmosphere! The wait staff remember us each time we eat there and always drop by to say hello even when they are not waiting on our table. Makes us feel at home. Great pizza and we love the eggplant dishes and chicken parm.

Absolutely the very best italian restaurant in florida. Great fresh food, great service, and good atmosphere. If you go somewhere else your wasting your money. Been there a 100 times and never, never had a bad meal. Not only 5 stars but 5 plus stars.
