Okay, this is not a full service restaurant by any means. Its takeout food with some benches, and a door that leads to a bathroom. But Im not going there for the ambiance. The food was really fantastic. Theyve been open for like 30 years, and its pretty clear that their goal isnt to expand, but rather that they just love cooking. . I went with the not so daring beef stew before I saw the lamb curry the guy before me ordered, and the stew was so good (great seasoning) that it has ruined all other beef stews for me. Then it was on top of some seasoned rice with red beans and vegetables cooked in, and they gave me some salad as well.

Jamaican food is full of flavor. This food lacked much appeal. Oxtails were thrown in some flour at best and smothered in water. No time to brown themselves in a Lil oil. Then when done thrown on some white rice..no peas and rice...with some sort of weird Cole slaw on the side they called salad. Was not happy one bit. Went after it was dark, and was not expecting a hut with a window for orders. No place to sit. So GOOD on going back.

This little place is a tucked away in the cut but bursting with great flavors. I dont have a problem with the fact that theres no where to sit and its just a drive through. The same is true for Jerome Browns BBQ and they have some of the best in town! The curry shrimp are great, and they even have a fruit punch thats on another level. Theyve been in business for a lot of years and I know why. Its good!

I really love their food every now and again I crave thier 10$ special and they fruit punch is off the chain eventhough they are a small businesses they have really good food especially that curry chicken and curry goat over all its finger licking good!!!!
