We made reservations for Christmas eve 2013. When we arrived we were shown to a booth adjacent to the noisy kitchen...not a great spot. We ordered drinks, waited..waited..ok so far, it was christmas eve and busy. Bread the waiter asked,ok....we waited waited. We ordered and waited waited. When the meal arrived , IT WAS COLD! Spoke to the waiter " Remove the food and give us a check for the drinks...manager arrived and, tried to make good, even offered a gift card...we refused saying that we would NEVER patronize the STONEWOOD again. We went to Ruth Crist steakhouse, wonderful service and food.Want slow service and cold food? Then Stonewood is the place for you!

The service here is horrible. Ive tried it three times now. The first two times I forgave the slow, almost-rude servers. The third time, we were seated and waited over 20 minutes and still didnt see a server. No drink order, nobody came by, 20 minutes on the watch. We walked out, and nobody cared. We eat often at Hillstone, Dexters, Longhorn, Shulas... pretty much every similar place around Orlando and Winter Park. Were not picky, but the management at this Stonewood must let the employees do whatever they want, so we wont return.

Great food. I have had the salmon and the grouper. Both were great. My wife loves the Asian chicken salad. The bleu cheese chips are a great starter. The service has always been great. This is one of the few restaurants in this area with a chef that can actually cook. The only thing on the menu I wasn’t crazy about was the chicken pot pie- had canned peas in it. And this is just personal taste, but we don’t like the music they play. It’s that smooth jazz Kenny G stuff. I highly recommend though.

Another delicious meal at Stonewood! My husbands prime rib was perfect, my planked salmon was moust and flavorful, and the creme brulee was fabulous! Excellent ambience, service and food. They offer a full range of choices from high end steaks and fish to reasonably priced burgers and fish sandwiches with other options in between. A Lake Mary favorite.Many of the appetizers can be eaten as meals. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Love it!

Food was Good, but I did not understand why I was not given a choice of how my appetizer filet was prepared on toast points. They came well done, dry & chewy. Had I been offered a choice, I would have chosen medium rare for thin slices of filet. The pieces were also uneven. It could have been excellent though. I will try it again, but I will make it a point to request how I wanted it cooked, if allowed. Ambiance is good.

The last time I reviewed this place was five years ago and it was five stars. Ive watched the gradual decline of Stonewood over the last three years and finally its not worth hoping for improvement. The food quality, portion size, and lack of staff is pathetic! On tonights visit (my last) I was told they were out of bread, grouper, and mahi. Youre better off going to Ruths or Season 52. Stonewood needs to hang it up!

Great atmosphere decent service and very well managed. Get the tuna appetizer and a steak. Not cheap but a good night out. Had the salmon once which was a bit fishy for me. I sent it back but told them to charge me since salmon can be that way. Manager ( Kimberley ) didnt charge me anyway. Thats how you keep people coming back!!

Great atmosphere and comfy booths to catch up with friends...the Ginger Lemon Salmon on veggie slaw was divine! As was the Creme brûlée. Our waiter, Christopher, was inexperienced but eager to please and attentive! In time hell be an expert so give him a chance to learn the ropes. Im looking forward to our next rendezvous!

We were squeezed in on a very busy New Years Eve and you wouldnt have known it. The food was great (steaks, pasta and short ribs) and the service while very busy/stretched, efficient and friendly. I hadnt eaten at Stonewood in quite some time but was reminded by the experience that we need to go back soon, and often.

Stumbled on because it was near the hotel we were staying at. Had a wonderful dinner 5 star (blackened. grouper and second dish was short ribs medallions over butternut squash ravioli).. Would order either again without hesitation. Prices were very reasonable and made a solid pour cocktail.

Very rude. I went in for a drink on a saturday night. I asked the waitress at what time they closed she said 10:30pm it was 10:05 she said it was fine for me to go to the bar another waitress told the hostess " i thought you said you wanted to leave ,tell them were closed at 10:15pm

Steak salad.. tremendous.. I had an order to go and an item was forgotten I was generously accommodated upon my return for the item. Service excellent, food outstanding. They have me now. They truly understand good food and service with a smile.

Food was good, but the bartender could not get two different drinks right at all. Not sure if they were new, but a third drink was also not quite right but tasted ok at least. Wait service was a bit slow, as we had to wait longer than what I would consider normal (15+ minutes).

My bf took me there on Mothers Day, and I totally enjoyed myself. Our waiter was incredible, and the lamb was great. I thought I would have leftovers, but I ate it all. I did not like the bread pudding that they had, but everything else was the bomb (good).

The options are kind of specific. I got what they called a chicken pot pie, which it definitely wasnt. I got some of the worst heartburn of my life from it too. It tasted okay, but most things are a bit overpriced. The service was good.

Overall the food was very good. Meat was cooked to perfection, service was excellent. Our server and the entire staff were hands down some of the best. Prices were a little higher than I think the value of the overall experience was.

A little over priced for the consistency.. sometimes its so good .. other times its just ok.. 90% of the time its pretty good. Which isnt what I expect when paying 30$ for a steak. But none the less we go there all the time

Almost an hour to get a table WITH a reservation. Overpriced food that was mediocre at best. Inattentive staff. Satan will be ice skating in his front yard before l go back. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

The service was poor.. One person food wasnt prepared correct. The waiter asked if a couple was going to share a meal, like they couldnt afford it. Just a bad experience. I wont be going back

I go for the steak and bearnaise. The staff is very friendly and quick. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Perfect for date night. They keep it a bit cold so wear a sweater.
